They don't cast him in these kind of movies, he make his own 😃
I really hope that this movie does well at the box office for David Leitch (Director of John Wick) to take an interest in it for them to include Monkey Man in the John Wick universe making it even bigger with multiple countries involved.
There are 2 more producers from John Wick universe involved with this movie, I think they might have already thought about it. Let's see!!
@lil_patrick Oh nice! I wasn't aware of that. That would be dope if it does happen. Could even include the movie 'Nobody' that came out in 2021 in that universe.
David Leitch left after the first John Wick. The main director is Chad Stahelski
What decade are you living in? David Leitch has no say in John Wick. Chad Stahelski is in charge. Plus, Lionsgate owns the IP...this is Universal
Cant forget equalizer and hutch from the movie Nobody
For many unaware. It ain't just a monkey. He's Hanuman, a lord in the Hindu Scripture RAMAYAN. He's a devout devotee of lord Ram and to save his wife Sita abducted by the evil Ravan, hanuman did burn the whole city of Lanka down and Ram killed Ravan in the end.
Yeah, so not just a monkey. He simbolises lord Hanuman.
great choreography seems best movie Monkey Man i"m in theater for this movie.
The people behind the John Wick Franchise helped produced this movie so you know the choreography will look clean🔥
I saw this movie and as the credits rolled, the ghost of Gordon Ramsay possessed my soul and I blurted out "Delicious. Finally, some good fucking revenge"
New logo with new sound effect is great👍👍👍
At first I thought it is based upon Black monkey myth. That terrorised Delhi citizens in 2001. But no this is totally different concept.
Delhi 6?
@@vatsalsanwaria537 Mass hysteria
Looks amazing.
Noo don't read the synopsis before watching the trailer.
Subbing so I can get better at understanding Scottish English.
Punjabi music 🔥🧨
It feels Stereotypical 😑😑
a reimagined John Wick.. kudos to Dev for using all his skills... acting, screenplay, directing + his black belt..
but average trailer overall with a ton of 90s stereotypes.. poverty, crowded locales, poor people fighting, Punjabi MC playing (a banger but was last relevant/popular in late 90s) ...
white folks will likely love this for being "exotic" lol ...
guess India and Asia moved on but Peele woudn't know (also the Hanuman reference is good but he wasn't a 'white' monkey as per texts) :D
Is it a lie though? The poverty, poor people, crowded areas? Do they not exist anymore? We could clearly see skyscrapers as well. If you only want to see rich people then try watching Karan Johar, will suit your superior taste.
It's not your average trailer at all. This movie is going to do quite well in the box office
Watch the movie. It is a gritty and sometimes critical look at India including the caste system.
Watched twice and quite disappointed...
Watch 12th Fail or Super 30 to see how a good film is made... A good balance of real life and daily experiences in smaller Indian towns.. Unlike Monkey Man which has the classic overseas Indian stereotypes where only a few super rich and many very impoverished people exist (and the 700million middle class with their real, daily struggles but small happinesses - are invisible) ... The plot of a religious guru controlling the ruling political party and being nationalist is intended to speculate and please extreme left wing 😂
Very poor, cringe music too. And the repeated western narrative of cramped, unclean India is very 1990s 😂
Great action though.
Speculate? BJP the ruling party is supported by RSS and is extremely nationalistic. The movie is a critique of the cast system and how we look down upon the downtrotten. The "trans" community as shown in the movie and on display in India is an example of it. The movie is very well done. Obviously nationalistic brahman mindset directly responsible for the caste system or people sympathetic to it won't like it.
This looks like a stupid hanuman movie!!!
stupid movie boldeta hoo foreigner ke samne cool lagunga 🤡
You're confusing it with that stupid south indian movie
More like a good one.
