not much of an upgrade since human peer bonding is part of basic psychology... it says it's programmed with basic psychology but not with understanding peer bonding?... that does not compute lol.
Also how can she remotely control cars? They are NOT robot cars, just regular vehicles. Sure cars have computers more or less inside them HOWEVER there are no people or mechanisms to physically turn the wheel or press the gas.
I think there's some nonsensical stuff about nanobots doing that. Frankly I think it's BS, although it explains the remote link, it still doesn't explain how the wheel and pedals are being moved
The Game Chasers are you serious it is possible to remote control a car its been possible for years a group of people hacked a car to demonstrate how insucure there security systems are and the company are rushing to fix the issue the man had full control of the car driving it from 10 mies away
Terry James you do know this is a 12 year old movie right? then none of those cars are as far as i can remember arent year models from the year 2003. if you seriously believe people can remote control cars like that from that year, you arent that smart.
With the pedals that's just reprogrammed cruise control, for the steering wheel she either has a crap ton of nano bots to pump out so they can create a full contact point inside the column to make it move, or, they eat material from the car to make more of themselves, either way with enough material this would be possible, that said, if they COULD eat their way into building more, why send a terminator, just release the Nani its to destroy humans, like a mechanical plague we would be dead on weeks, maybe months?
The point of all the coincidences is that the universe rearranges itself so that the events to come still happen thus solving the paradox. "Our destiny was never to stop judgement day. It was merely to survive it".
Miguel Antonio Ruiz Vidaurri Wouldn't that effectively murder him before he is born? While they went after his mother the whole reason is so he would not be born, he was the real objective she was just the means to an end.
It´s a science-fiction movie with time travelling. Based on that, you can murder someone who is not even born yet, because the murderers were sent out in a time where Connor was already alive - simple as that. All you have to to, is to ignore that goddamn grandfather paradoxon.
I’m in that crowd who absolutely hated what they did in the first 5 minutes of Dark Fate, and that it made the ending of T2 absolutely meaningless, and for that I can’t consider it a good Terminator movie.
@gor9027 I personally had no problem with it. I feel it really helps drive home that it is a very different timeline than the one Sarah and John prevented in Terminator 2.
Schwarzenegger terminator knows how to shoot tires already. In T2, after he puts Connor on his bike, first thing he does is shoot the tire on Robert Patrick's truck
Redem10 Probably not. James Cameron gets the film rights back in 2019. I doubt he'll want anyone else making films since he planned the story to end after the 2nd film.
Actually not really, he was still sperm in Kyle Reeses ball sack and killing Reese wasnt the priority. Sarah Conner was the target, because of John Conner but not to kill John Conner.
@@skeeterfinklage445 Well, you can't say for certain Skynet knew Kyle Reese was his father ...does John Conner ever use his name in T2/T3? Maybe Sarah never told him his name, so as not to affect the future. In that case, Skynet may have never known who the father was ...
Let's just agree both the first and second movies are amazing movies and true action masterpieces. I see it this way. They come as a pair. If you watch the first one, you have to watch the second one.
+DRZREALEST Genisys was actually pretty good. 3&4 were terrible. Sure it was a reboot, but how to make it "not lame excuse"? Every reboot is lame nowadays. Except Terminator, in my opinion, it was kickass. To the X men I have no comment since I have never seen those movies.
+MrMG191919 As a long time Terminator franchise fan, I thought Genisys was actually pretty excellent. I thought the whole premise was great. There were enough nods to the original timeline to appease hardcore fans, but enough difference to not feel like the same story rehashed. I thought the casting and writing was good. I hope they decided to go through with making the sequels, as there was many questions that went unanswered by design.
U missed a verry important sin. So when the girl terminater is driving in the back seat and her arm is going through the cop, the car later comes to a stop wich is impossible because she cant control brakes from the back seat !!!!!!!!!
Terminator Genisys is one of those movie where you just don't trust movie critic, they got 23% from rotten tomatoes and 30% from meta critic. However, this movie was actually not that great but it is also not horrible. It's something that you kind of expected and the story is satisfied to say the least, the review in this movie is understandable but they are still very harsh.
They DID try to kill him before he was born. She slept with Reese who was John’s father and the Terminator tried to kill Sarah before she met Reese and after they had slept together.
@jtq1995, I haven't seen either one, but I always hear that Aliens is better because there are more of the aliens than the first movie, the there's more character development, and that you see the aliens giving birth through the humans. At least that's what I hear people saying.
Like seriously, if that isn't what he meant, what DID he mean? How could he have somehow made such a huge mistake as to accidentally say "they tried to kill me before I was born" instead of "when I was in the eighth grade" if he didn't mean to say it?
I remember watching this for the first time and was shocked at how it ended. But not dissatisfied. The Terminator did say that judgement day was inevitable
Ral Law I thought and correct me if I'm wrong, but in the first movie when Sarah and Kyle spend the night in the underpass/drainpipe place that was when John was conceived, because is the second movie I think john says that they only spent one night together
***** Well, guess that explains just how much of a disaster this film was for the franchise. It was creared solely to fuel Arnold's political career, and it looks like Cameron wanted no part of that. But of course, the studio probably didn't care, they just wanted the money.
+JCBro2014 Oh jesus christ. Don't embarrass yourself. This has NOTHING to do with Schwarzenegger's political career. It was being made WELL before there was even talk of recalling Gray Davis and therefore before Arnold had any thoughts of running for office in the near future. You DO realize that movies like this take quite a long time from initial casting stages to opening night, right?
+Benjámin Kurilla (bbenjoe) Well originally it was actually supposed to end with terminator 2, there's an alternate longer ending where sarah basically says that they stopped the war from happening.
Linda Hamilton probably wasn't interested as she married James Cameron after Terminator 2,caught him red handed fucking his secretary and ended up divorcing him going lesbian for a while and Edward Furlong is and was a drugged up junkie in those days. The producers were most likely thankfully the got Arnie to come back as shortly after this his star had started to fade which is one reason he became Governor of California. It was a problem for all action stars from the 1980'and 1990's which is why most of them appeared in the Expendables Franchise.
They did but the Terminator (Arnold) and the film directors must of shouted to Linda Hamilton since she got deaf in ear because of T2, Edward suffered some voice problems also
If John Connor was born around 1985, and the nuclear war ( and this movie ) takes place in August 1997, then that would make John only 12 years old, and not an adult as we see him in this movie.
i never actually had a problem with that one. coffins are huge, and i think sarah would have had the foresight to bulletproof her weapons reserve. edit: i stand corrected, there is no way he can fit in there
You may have missed one... The terminator states earlier in the movie that he's powered by two hydrogen fuel cells, and one blows up in the first half of the movie. How does he take the second one out and put it in the T-X's mouth without powering down?
simple like any electronic machine he has capacitor's which take a few second to discharge simple you would think they would be higher capacity then the one we have cause skynet progress at tech development the fact that the terminator powers down after that is proof oh and you remind me of my mother🤣🤣🤣
Loken, at least, does a good job with a shallow part. She took a bunch of mime courses & did insane physical Keanu-Reeves-style bootcamp shit for the role. It's weird, too, that so many criticize her character for its creepy pseudo-emotional responses, when it's no different from the cyborg from _The Terminator_ doing double-takes and Robert Patrick's _T2_ villain's face freezing in a rictus of shock. Stuff like a stylized gasp of excited surprise or a moment of weirdly self-aware vanity, the infiltrator acting in hollow, eerie imitation of humanity-that's a feature, not a bug.

Here is how the whole John Connor thing works! In the Original Timeline set before T1 John's father was just a man from the same time as his mother (sometime in the late 80's to mid 90's!), When Skynet sends a machine back to kill Sarah Connor it creates an alternate timeline where Kyle then becomes his biological father this John is genetically different to the original but as long as their mother is Sarah and she raises him he will become the leader of the resistance! (In theory John Connor could even be adopted as long as his mum is Sarah Connor!). Every Time skynet sends a machine back it creates a new even more technologically advanced timeline, Allowing Terminators like the T1000 and the TX to be created when they did not exist in the original timeline!
So you mean that this new John Connor would be different or the same in body and soul? if you know what I mean, it's like, you think you could of existed if your mom had married and made love with another man?
Darth Awar But if Kyle Reece ate a moon pie , he woukd never have fucked Sarah and John Connor would never have been born. So why didn't Skynet just feed him moon pie to begin with!! 🌛🌜🌛🌜🌔🌚🌚🌚🌚🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝
The first Terminator film utilises a closed timeloop. Kyle Reese's actions ultimately led him to getting him and the Terminator sent back in time in the first place.
Oblivious Bot i actually kinda enjoyed the movie but still i want to see a an everything wrong with video of it i'll bet die antwoord will be sinned a lot
I personally love this film. Dunno why everyone didn't like it, I thought the characters and plot was good and the twist at the end was something you don't see in many films today. Me and my family watch this a lot and it never gets old
I acknowledge the movies flaws and still prefer T1 and T2 by a longshot but in some manner still enjoy Rise of the Machines and Salvation, I personally really didn't dislike T3 exactly and always wanted to see ta movie set post Judgement Day so it was a nice change, although there were quite a few things I'd have liked to see done differently.
It fully stands on its own merits right alongside the first two. Any successful major motion picture will generate critics - fault finders like the person who put this video up. Hell, even the motion picture considered by many for decades to be the greatest film of all time, Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane has its nay sayers. The best evidence of whether a film is worthwhile is what the public had to say about it - how successful it is, and this baby made a mint just like the second film before it.
Did cinema sins actually get something wrong? Last time I checked terminator one happened before john conner was born and the terminator did in fact try to john before he was born
I believe they were trying to kill sarah in that one. Sure, killing her would have prevented his birth too, but they didnt directly try to kill john until T2, when he was 10/13
Viadynn Pls they were trying to kill Sarah Connor as a means of killing John. They didn't care about Sarah they only wanted her dead because it would kill John.
***** Strangely, CinemaSins missed the line that comes right after that in the movie - "they tried to kill me when I was 13", when he was actually 10. I think that's what they were going for.
***** T-3's broken premise makes every Terminator pointless, including itself. It actually nullifies its own existence. I can ignore T-3 through Genisys and I do. The first two films are the only ones worth watching and the only two that work as a continuing narrative. The rest contradict the first two and simply don't work.

not all but she did have some training, that's why when she used the gun on the machine in the hallway, it was supposed to be a callback to how sarah connor quickly changed from the innocent girl next door to a badass. too bad we never really got to see her be more badass, as much as i love bryce dallas howard, we didn't get to see her be badass in that role in Salvation.
They actually explain this on a DVD/Blu-Ray extra. The man who is the model for the robotic soldiers that become the Terminators (played by Schwarzenegger) has a goofy, over the top southern accent. One of the generals complains about this and a scientist with an Austrian accent says that he will fix it.
Mike Rotch Plays Games, this scene was deleted, so you cannot consider it canon. It also goes against the logic of first two movies. There were no cyborgs/androids by the time the war started. Skynet was only an "intelligent" software, nothing more. It was after the Judgment Day, when Skynet started to invent cyborgs (Terminators). Their goal was to infiltrate the remaining human camps in order to "terminate" humans that were still left on earth after the war. That was the sole reason for their existence. As Kyle Reese explains in T1, first models had rubber skin so they were easy to spot. Later, Skynet started to produce models with real living tissue, but that was only in 2020's. There's no way the model could have been invented before the war (in late 90's / early 00's, depending on the timeline) and it was humans who chosen the 'design' of a T-800. I always thought that the accent is so thick because well.. it is a machine. It was manufactured so it had no time to 'learn' a proper English/American accent.
Maciej Kowalski I see your point, but as Skynet was an American company, logic suggests that the language sample would have been American English, not Austrian. One of the goals of the terminators was to blend in so they could infiltrate the human camps and exterminate them. So I think it also follows that the terminators shouldn't have been big, muscly dudes. The T-1000 was an average sized dude and the Terminatrix was a woman, both more fitting for the task of covert infiltration.

8:35 John wife wold remember going to the grave and getting the weapons telling the terminator about it. Also the way t 800 knows where John is and all the other info that you state he wouldn’t know can easily be explained by this. Trey Mancil Nanovirus programmed to devour all organic life sweeps the globe. No humans, no mess, no resistance.
It was an upgrade terminator.
The first two movies, was a T-800 model.
3rd movie was. T-850 model.
Technically T-800 and T-850 are series (indicating what skeleton series basically) while the 101 often seen on The Terminator film covers, and probably also posters, is the model number (the look of the flesh cover.
BUT still love that you point it out
not much of an upgrade since human peer bonding is part of basic psychology... it says it's programmed with basic psychology but not with understanding peer bonding?... that does not compute lol.
Why not a T-801...? or T-800.001?
Samur/Aye
...socializing/bonding is way more complicated than the rest?
M8 Don't forget Genesys and Dark Fate also have T-800
Terry James Lol no it isn't none of those cars have computers connected directly to driving the actual vehicle. Especially not 10+ year crown vics.

@gor9027 I personally had no problem with it. I feel it really helps drive home that it is a very different timeline than the one Sarah and John prevented in Terminator 2.

I hope they decided to go through with making the sequels, as there was many questions that went unanswered by design.

+JCBro2014 Oh jesus christ. Don't embarrass yourself. This has NOTHING to do with Schwarzenegger's political career. You DO realize that movies like this take quite a long time from initial casting stages to opening night, right?
+Benjámin Kurilla (bbenjoe) Well originally it was actually supposed to end with terminator 2, there's an alternate longer ending where sarah basically says that they stopped the war from happening.

I would have tried to get Edward furlong and Linda Hamilton back. But Eddie was a hardcore drug addict in 2003.
Supposedley they wanted to get Edward Furlong but he was a train wreck at the time
another child who destroy his life
Linda Hamilton probably wasn't interested as she married James Cameron after Terminator 2,caught him red handed fucking his secretary and ended up divorcing him going lesbian for a while and Edward Furlong is and was a drugged up junkie in those days. The producers were most likely thankfully the got Arnie to come back as shortly after this his star had started to fade which is one reason he became Governor of California. It was a problem for all action stars from the 1980'and 1990's which is why most of them appeared in the Expendables Franchise.
They did but the Terminator (Arnold) and the film directors must of shouted to Linda Hamilton since she got deaf in ear because of T2, Edward suffered some voice problems also
They approached Linda Hamilton but she turned them down because her part was small
If John Connor was born around 1985, and the nuclear war ( and this movie ) takes place in August 1997, then that would make John only 12 years old, and not an adult as we see him in this movie.
One sin you might have missed: "How the hell did John fit in the coffin with all the weapons in it? Never mind it being bulletproof."
i never actually had a problem with that one. coffins are huge, and i think sarah would have had the foresight to bulletproof her weapons reserve.

You need to join film theory
Darth Awar But if Kyle Reece ate a moon pie , he woukd never have fucked Sarah and John Connor would never have been born. So why didn't Skynet just feed him moon pie to begin with!! 🌛🌜🌛🌜🌔🌚🌚🌚🌚🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝

Rob Rose Well it's not directly killing him, but it would prevent his existence. So CinemaSins is right by technical definition.
***** Strangely, CinemaSins missed the line that comes right after that in the movie - "they tried to kill me when I was 13", when he was actually 10. I think that's what they were going for.
***** Sarah wasn't pregnant with John at the time so....yeah. Small technicality there.

You bet your stinky ass he will!!!
First T2, second T3, all in preparation for the new one coming with Daenerys...

it would take a year for that movie
it has that many sins

$5 says the next one is Terminator Salvation
Spike Powers I doubt it.
Make it 40
Spike Powers 10 dollars say the sequel is terminator genesys
Jack ripper I take that bet :)
Spike Powers no they might do salvation, they did the same thing with Jurassic parks when Jurassic world came out
In real life, the boom on that crane would have been bent to heck.
What is more unbelievable is the magic-a-nator somehow bypassed all the physical lockouts that prevent the boom from moving while in transit ... including at least 3 VERY thick pins.
Sin #32 points out that the vet has combat training....her father is an Air Force officer...remember?
All kids of military officers have combat training?
not all but she did have some training, that's why when she used the gun on the machine in the hallway, it was supposed to be a callback to how sarah connor quickly changed from the innocent girl next door to a badass. too bad we never really got to see her be more badass, as much as i love bryce dallas howard, we didn't get to see her be badass in that role in Salvation.
Not all Air Force members (esp. Officers) have combat training.
@@Fuckyoubloodymoron it’s very possible that her father taught how to use a gun and some self defense.
@@TCFan30 it’s obvious by his medals on his uniform, he’s seen combat.
Why would Skynet, a company founded by Americans and located in America, give the Terminator an Austrian accent? Ding.
Mike Rotch Plays Games ok thanks. I guess that's better than dubbing over him like they did in Hercules in New York.
Well at least here it was for comedy. Honestly that short DVD extra is the best part of Terminator 3 IMO.
At your 13:38, a massive steel door jamb just vanishes as its glass door breaks.
SIN!
The Cessna we see on the ground and in the air are two different planes.

"Ah, ah ,ah, you didn't say the magic word"

It's a tough call between that and "[HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PAULIE]"
I noticed a sin! the bits of exposed metal on arnolds face move with his skin even tho only his skeleton is metal
they should have actually bolted that Metal to his skull to avoid this happening
lol ik its just makeup but still, a sin is a sin right :P
Ding!
Seems Legit that's not metal it's makeup
Totally could have used a quote from Naked Gun, she reminded me of my mother
that scene at the end in the strip joint... the lady in pink tops stands up on the table/chair, arny gets hit with glove then magically shes back on the ground like nothing happened?
16:23 - "There's nothing here!" in that exact tone, is what I say when I spend ages queuing in traffic and find that there was no reason for it.
John Conner littered when he dropped the beer
8:35 John wife wold remember going to the grave and getting the weapons telling the terminator about it. Also the way t 800 knows where John is and all the other info that you state he wouldn’t know can easily be explained by this. They would remember all events that happen heck they can even have had time to write everything in the vault and realized that they would need said information to give to the t800 to help them survive and get to the vault .
I’m sinning you for saying no one has shot tires in previous movies when in terminator 2 the T-800 shoots the tires of a truck to make it slip and blow up
A terminator from 2019 huh? ;p As someone from 2019... there is only dark fate in your future!
Isn't it from 2019? Terminator salvation takes place in 2018.
Skynet: "You know what else is alive?!"

She sent him there. So she told him "You find us at the animal-clinic!"

I'm waiting for 100+ minutes for Terminator: Dark Fate
Adi Adrian Sadly, it’s only about 16 or 17.
@@thefilmwatcher1302 Well, no-one has the time to spend on completely sinning Dark Fate. Unless with a certain artifact owned by Sorcerer Supreme.
How does Skynet know the type of relationship John Connor had with the Terminator from Judgment Day movie? That he has an emotional attachment to Arnie looking death machines? You missed than one Jeremy!
because skynet can "sense" reprogrammed terminators so he knew john trusted 101 to send him back in time to fight t1000 so thats why...
@@jindrichsander7271 no way. Machines can't 'sense' things! Your stretching there.
@@theriddick2735 "sense" is a bad choice of words I admit it but it is true, in terminator genisys a terminator guarding the facility could realize that the one bwhind a wheel is reprogrammed in terminator 3 redemption(video game) T-900 realized t850 was reprogrammed just by looking at him
What the fuck are you talking about? skynet didn’t send the protector T-800s back, the resistance did. You know, the resistance led by John Connor?
@@pilotwhaleproductions5880 What the fuck are you on about you tit?! Read my comment again. I never said the resistance didn't send the Terminator back! Arnie states Skynet uses his model number due to the relationship John Connor has with it, an I was asking how Skynet know exactly what relationship John had with them robots since the machines sent back to the past were destroyed and didn't have any uplink to Skynet command. Or are you saying the resistance programmed said relationship even though it had zero bearing on the mission? Arnie in this film was programmed to only take orders from Katherine Brewster, so how would it be pertinent in Rise of the Machines?
