*Hey everybody! A few things here based on the comments I've received so far -- THANK YOU by the way!*
    • YES... I know it was 1989 Grammy winner Neil Young that sang Rockin' in the Free World. Sometimes I mash up my pop culture references to see who's paying attention and HOLY COW did I underestimate the number of Neil fans lol
    • I forgot to open a door by the... uh... door lol. It's a closet. Sorry - I don't normally miss storage like that. Sorry. I believe we have pics of it if you click thru to our website
Keep it coming!! I'll do my best to keep up :)

Sooo my thoughts? We currently have a 26’ TT it’s a Tracer. Similar layout…
With this one you showed though… no real back window which I LOVE LOVE love on our TT. When we camp I always get the spots that I back into for trees, water etc.
I’m not one for the recliners, we have two short back swivel chairs, and we like the dinette.
We have a medal fold out couch bed, we took out the bed and built a frame in the couch where the fold out used to be…. It is great storage now.
We have cabinets over the bed, don’t think I would like that open space.
Having 4 more feet would be nice but too much for hubby. When we travelled with all 4 kids, we had a 36’ TT, hubby would prefer 20’… so the 26’ we have now is a compromise 😉
Regarding the one you have shown here…
All I can say is IT MUST BE FINALLY DESIGNED BY A WOMEN! The layout makes more sense than I have often seen on TTs.
We are on our 3rd TT, and had a 23’ class C first (started in ‘94) , I never have thought a women had input into designs!! 🤦‍♀️

Yup for the desk. With so many of us choosing to work from the road and/or how streaming and other online tasks are now "front and center" in peoples lives, this kind of thing is getting to be essential. More makers should do something like this.

Or if you had the U Dinette and the table cuz somehow slide over your lap. That would be a decent work setup and also it layout movie watching station other than the bed. Nice layout. The dropped kitchen counter level allows for a larger window--good trade off. I would suggest putting a fireplace in the shallow cabinet area beneath the pullout table. Can be used when table not in use--which is most of the time.

I also wish they had a more cuddle compliant theater seat, I know they make those... That slide out desk thingy, now that is some innovation!!! There when you need it, and gone when you don't!!! The bed is a great size and the open side stands just looks good to me!!! The mid bath setup creates a great size for the bathroom without taking much space from the overall size..

Likes: convection microwave, amount of kitchen storage, the colors used, the bedroom and possible 2nd AC in there.
Dislike: that corner med cabinet. They could've used the other half of the unmirrored wall and done a GREAT med cabinet. I'd like the outside speakers lower too.

Josh, I have been saying forever that I wanted to get a free standing table, turn it sideways along the window and put 2 chairs facing the window. It's just me so don't need all the chairs unless I have visitors and it would save a couple inches on space since it's going sideways. This would work great with the tables that have 2 chairs and a bench bc that bench could just be used for your tootsies unless or until you have guests.

Wow, really like this one. I have about 5 categories I save RV RUclips videos in and this landed in 4 of them. Great travel accessibility, great cargo ability, nice Floorplan and look...and all at 30' on the button. Not necessarily a fan of the bathroom right next to bedroom, but could overlook that as its functional for this layout. Could definitely use more bedroom storage, but do prefer the center style entry door into bedroom. I think the outside awning was done near perfectly. The door and camp kitchen are centered under the awning, just add some screening to perfectly enclose that area. Hard to find deal breakers on this one, would love to see it in person.

Would like to have power outlets under the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Definitely agree with pulling the refrigerator flush and using that space for some sort of cabinet whether it's hanging or shells or whatever. And then also on the outside you could have another storage compartment using the bottom section behind the refrigerator so that you would only have a half or two-thirds cabinet on the inside and 1/3 or 1/2 accessible on the outside behind the refrigerator.
I'm also not a very big fan of that outside Camp kitchen although I do like the fact that you can go from a grill to a griddle, that's pretty cool me personally I would pull out that fridge and I wouldn't want the sink in there and I would use that as extra outdoor storage

  • @johnirwin1837
    @johnirwin1837 Год назад +2

We are an older generation RV'ers/snowbirders. We don't need the outdoor kitchen, but could use the extra outside accessable storage. I wish there was a way to have the mattress slide back easily so you could make the bed easier. But all Rv's are like that... I would have to visit one before giving it my thumbs up. Like a lot of TT's the wardrobe space is on the small size for us in a 3 to 4 month snowbird trip. Possiably a wardrobe slide out on the street side. No dirty clothes hamper space. Guess we are kinda spoiled with our 36" triple slide 5th wheel.

Wow. My 1st impression is stunned by the differences! I really like the kitchen. Lots of storage space, and I love the dark lowers. It is so nice to see an over as an option! Finally! I prefer a lower microwave, I'd love the option to put a convection microwave when the over would go. I don't have a problem with the counter level drop. I'm curious to know if it's more expensive to put a large flat counter in though.
The bedroom is nice, I love the side tables. (Bedroom-without TV)
The pass through looks big enough for a body. I mean a live one. Heat vent, after all. I could stow a guest under there. No need for a fold out couch.

Great Video as always Josh and I also appreciate Winnebago letting you go thru to get this content for us. I noticed you missed a few of your normal points, but will hit those later. Wait, let me get this straight, the outside kitchen has a grill that converts to a griddle? That is very cool. Someone should've thought of that a long time ago. You missed the door that was just inside the main door, so just wondering if that is a pantry, coat closet, or a combo of both? I think this would work with my Durango and I think I could outfit it to work for me and the occasional guest. I would go with U-dinette, 50 amp service for dual A/C, an oven inside, 12v fridge, power stabs (wish more manufacturers would offer auto leveling for us solo setup people who have elderly guests/ travelers), and a 2nd solar panel if offered. Another thing I didn't see you reference was the window treatment: shades or blinds? I would prefer pull down day/night shades even if I had to pay extra for them. I also didn't see you reference the fan for the bathroom- I would upgrade to a MAXXAIR system, if not already installed. The bedroom TV is okay if installed, not going to miss it if it isn't in there. Now for my wishlist- an electric fireplace to take off that morning chill on those fall/ spring mornings, although not sure where they would put one in??? Thanks again!!!

You could easily buy a free standing table, that could be folded and moved out of the way, to eat on with those folding chairs or at the sofa. Personally, I love the set up! You can use the fixed counter as a buffet and eat at the slidable table. I would probably use the tri-fold sofa since there are 3 others in my family that would go camping with me. I'm not thrilled with the dark faces on some kitchen drawers (you mentioned that they're blue but that really doesn't show up in video); but that wouldn't stop me from buying it. Some thoughts or things i would like changed... sad to see carpeted slide, would love the theater seats where the middle can be an arm rest or a seat if flipped up, not personallya big fan of the super dark bottom cabinets. My last comment is because I have a couple of very different ways that I want to use my trailer... it would be awesome to have a built place to store a portable table (for like a dinofa). This would allow me to use it in front of the desk area (instead of the pull out) where 2 people could fit or one really big desk, OR you could put it up in front of the theater seating and use the extra chairs for a table for 4 or more. This would allow guests as well (or you could play games😊). You could also use it outside. I could also just get a table like this and store in the pass through, but if the pull out could be even more multi purpose it would be awesome! Thanks Josh!

I really like the naval cabinets paired with the lighter tones. My better half would like the elbow room at the bathroom sink.

I really love this floor plan except it doesn't seem to have much clothing storage. I like the clean lines. Would definitely go with theater seating. That kitchen almost makes me want to cook 😜 I've never used a convection oven before but from what I've heard about them, you don't need an oven, you can do your biscuits and cookies in it. That extra table space is cool.
What is behind the door by the entry? Looks like it would be too shallow for an actual closet.
I don't normally care about an outdoor kitchen but this one is nice, especially with the grill / griddle! I like that feature a lot. To make a long story longer, this is a nice rig 👍

Sweetie nums nums? Too cute! And I love how you demonstrated the storage in the theater seating-very creative. Love the table desk configuration, I like to sit at a table to eat sometimes, plus if my husband needs to work, he would have a great space to work. I would like the oven to be a standard item…but that’s me. I would definitely add the second air conditioner (I live in Arizona). I might change out the tv in the bedroom, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Love all the storage in the entire unit. The overhead shelf in the bedroom is ok, I might add a cargo net in addition to baskets so that stuff doesn’t go flying during travel. But having it open allows for bulkier or larger items to be stored there. I like the 2 level bedside area, I can actually put a glass of water there. Road mode is fabulous! Everything is accessible. Even though I can’t really see the blue, I’m sure I would love it. One thing I would like to see are larger side windows in the slide. The other thing would be a different light configuration in the slide. However, none of this is a deal breaker, this unit is really nice! Thanks for all your hard work, Josh.😊

You can get strap on tow mirrors from Uhaul. There are propane monitors that will keep you updated on propane levels. I suggest a dry camp at a campground so you can make sure everything works before you need to to. That will give you an idea of how long you can live on the capacity of you trailer. This way when you run out you just hookup and continue to camp comfortably.

Ohhh! I like the thinking out of the box! Immediate reactions: not crazy about the kitchen cabinet color (not dead set against it either). I like the hide-a-table, but my concern would be the height - would I be comfortable in the folding chair at the table? No way to know without trying it out! :) I know this next ask is an engineering issue and cost issue, but the space below the table just screams a fireplace. I am intrigued by the bedroom storage arrangement, especially the multiple headboard cubbies and such. The overhead space I'm not a big fan of, but I also don't completely hate it either. I am sort of on board with you, Josh...if you give us open storage, just go ahead and put the hardware in for netting. If you don't want the netting, just don't put it on the hooks. You hate the outside speakers...and I tend to agree. I don't see me using such a thing when the time comes. I'm far more likely to have airpods or earphones of some variety in. If i want something different, then a blue tooth speaker is an appropriate option. Overall, I like the novelty of this! It wouldn't be for everyone (looking at you booth dinette or carpet in the slide), but this surprisingly novel option! I like it...A LOT! I don't think it would displace my Ember dream - and 0-100 degree temperature testing, but I do really like the uniqueness of this!

LOVE the storage under the bar/desk area and all the space in the kitchen. HATE the carpet in the slide :( ...love the coat closet by the door. absolutely love the kitchen in the rear of campers - able to get so much more space that way. the storage cabinet instead of a medicine cabinet is very nice. would prefer 2nd ac in bedroom standard. i would prefer shelf storage in the hanging spaces personally because i do not hang much of my clothes for camp, they are folded. other than that, the clothing storage in bedroom is lacking.

Personally unless you are full/most timing and must work from the road I don't think you need a desk. If you are a weekend warrior like I think the majority of us are, you need to learn the meaning of leisure and stop working at the campground. But, if you are going to have the desk I think the pull out section should rotate so you could have a small dinette space when you aren't using the desk. I agree with the comment about a fireplace below the pullout desk. While I love the recliners I would want a trifold instead so you have capability of a couple guests coming with you if need be.

And where do you put the folding chairs when they’re not in use? I didn’t see a place to store them. The headbanger fridge is a miss, they should move it forward and create an outside storage area in that space. Road mode misses seating space which, if there was a dinette, might work.
