My favorite part really is the hunt itself. Anyone can hack a shiny into the game and anyone can find a random full odds shiny. With a random shiny you might look at and remember that you were on route 209 when you caught it. With a pokemon you hunted for you remember the countless hours you spent watching movies or youtube videos with a gamboy or ds in your hand. The SRs, the anticipation, the buildup to the moment when it shines. Its like a trophy, you can look at it and know that you earned it.

Been having a tough time recently with stress and anxiety, these videos are so calming it really helps :) I don't have much time to hunt myself anymore, so these still give that excitement of a shiny without spending hours on it haha

I completely agree, for me its the journey that is the most exciting part strangely, the build-up, anticipation and then finally the satisfaction of getting something to shine is where you make the most memories I find. Like of course getting the shiny is amazing, but all the hours it takes to get to that, the friends you chat to along the way, videos and shows/movies I watch whilst I'm hunting, I tend to remember those the most.

Congrats on your completed Trio! I also love Gen 4. You can just tell how much effort they put into fleshing out the region, routes, caves and all locations. The new gens are just so empty and completely nonexsitent in terms of exploring or finding new or hidden stuff. Oh you beat the Elite Four and the Champion, too bad, we were too lazy so you were everywhere you could go and have nothing left to explore have fun. Just Mt. Coronet had so manny little paths branching out that you could always come back and find another cave entrance leading to some items or secret location. It really saddens me and I almost don't want Sinnoh remakes. I feel like they will destroy the region... Also amazing outro.

Articuno is definitely one of my favorite shiny legendaries, but it’s gen 3 shiny is much better IMO. The lighter blue/white stays the same, but the beak and legs/feet change to a beautiful navy blue, which looks amazing.

Also, I agree with you on some pokemon not needing a crazy colour change to make a beautiful shiny. I really love shiny Paras, Ledian, Blissey and Carracosta, even if they are very subtle. I also agree with matching a pokemon's colour with that of the pokeball, it makes it feel that much more amazing and worthwile.

Simply amazing, congratulations on one of the most beautiful Pokemon ever and completing the trio! :D Completing childhood game dreams, it's sometimes bittersweet, but in the end always worth completing it :) I have been on a similar mission myself, catching shiny Ponyta, unlocking all emblems in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and paying my house off in Animal Crossing. Currently hunting Cresselia in gen 8. Dynamax Adventure hunts are so much more draining than SR hunts I feel, even though the odds are much higher. I got Tapu Koko after just 57 attempts, but at 15 minutes an attempt, with a few failures due to bad AI it's frustrating. Congrats on the quick hunt!
Yeah, about that masterball matching. Only shiny Darkrai (ok maybe Cresselia) matches with masterball. But everyone knows that the only shiny you can throw masterball at is a shiny Wurmple.

It's always possible, the chance is never zero. It's definitely not PROBABLE though, but random shinies do happen to plenty of people.
