It really is a great product. Affordable, lightweight, never pills, SO healing to rough skin. Any allergy sufferers should try this! I do really wish they would go cruelty free. China needs to get with the times, it's so unnecessary!
although it says 2X cream but it's very lightweight, my oily acne prone skin loves this, works well under all the sunscreens I'm using so no pilling at all, works well with retinol, and it lasts pretty long for me so it's affordable. My 3rd tube already and I'm not willing to change 😂
I've been using this one for about 2 months and so far it's been working really good! It's not greasy, moisturizing and soothing. It doesn't clog my pores. I have combo/dry skin and this one seems perfect. Still won't give final thoughts until I see the results on my dry skin in the very cold weather in the winter.
I love the packaging! It's very secure & hygienic because you have the extra protection of both the cap and the twist top. It keeps everything sealed, clean & air-tight.
I haven’t tried the old formula, but the new one was extremely soothing, calming, and softening. All my redness went away quickly and my skin was soft without feeling suffocated or over-saturated. Unfortunately, it clogged my pores and after 2-3 weeks I realized that it’s just not going to work for me. Other acne-prone people swear by this though. I honestly envy them, because I would love to use this forever.
@@juhnetmickerdy For me, it must be something else. I usually use shea butter without issue, and none of the other ingredients are new to me either. Not sure what my problem is with this cream.

Definitely hydrating and soothing and perfectly wonderful but IMO it is in the most boring packaging ever and is easily overlooked. Also, an etude is a type of musical composition. No fancy pronunciation, it's just two syllables eh-tude. 💜
As someone with normal to dry skin. I think it is a thick formula that is best used as a night cream in summers. In winters I would switch to twice or thrice a day of this

Hi Sarah I haven't tried this one. Although I liked the toner in this line, it wasn't really hydrating enough tbh and the texture of this is very light looking. My skin is very dry and in Winter even more so - this just doesn't look like it's rich enough. Often K beauty moisturisers are quite lightweight, as Korea is a humid place - Scotland isn't humid most of the year lol. I need richness in my cream and use night creams during the day and body creams overnight in the Winter. I just didn't feel like this would be enough for me. I'm just finishing the cetaphil redness relief night cream and using the skincity extreme cream as my day cream, whilst using either the LRP lipikar or the altruist 10% urea cream at night. I need something with enough occlusives to seal in my other skincare. My day cream has to be rich enough to do this, whilst still be able to sit under spf. This just looks like a Summer moisturiser for me and Summer here is quite a short season. I used the Altruist face this Summer and had to mix it with the 10% urea cream as the weather changed to finish it. This soon jung cream is a similar texture as far as I can tell. Best wishes.

Amazon also screwed up and gave me 2 extra skin1004 centella brightening ampoule’s ( which I love ) but I was supposed to receive the toners instead however I’m not super upset because they’re originally over $40 and I only paid $6
Oh wow, once in a great while someone will screw up in my favor, but it's been a while so I think I'm due! So many good shopping sales, it's been dangerous this year!

Maybe try it on a smaller area the first few times you use it. I'm always (oddly enough) testing new products by just putting them on one cheek until I'm sure my skin won't freak out. Keep me posted on how you end up liking it!

If you are newer to retinoids I'd suggest starting with a retinol product before working your way up to retinal.
If you tend to be acne prone I would be cautious with this one, although it does seem to work well for a lot of people with acne prone skin, definitely be cautious before you use it over your entire face.

They just changed it within the last month or so- I'm glad they kept it fragrance free and still very gentle yet hydrating!

In this formula it's function is to help adjust the pH of the cream. It's more often used in cleansers and rinse off products. Are you allergic to it?
