My current favs are the Mary & May cream for AM and I layer the Cermiaid over Medi-peel Peptide 9 cream at night. That combo feels so heavenly and pampering to me. I have mature, dehydrated combo skin and live in a very low humidity area so I love thick creams, especially at night.

That ceramiaid cream is never gonna NOT be part of my routine. I love it that much! Also really enjoy anything by JinJunSung. Have you tried their vita serum? It comes in the same sized bottle as their essences and it is perhaps one of the most nourishing products I've ever used, Its gonna be PERFECT for the alaska winters. It would be fantastic for you too! I use Klairs and have used the Skin1004 cream in the past. My favorite Skin1004 line is their Hyalu cica line--the serum and sleeping pack especially.
I think you were the one that suggested the Ceramiaid Cream- it is so nice and I just love it around my mouth which can get dry and irritated super easy from retinoids and exfoliants. Funny story- when I was younger I almost moved to Alaska - I was offered a research job there and it was so close to happening but I just couldn't leave my family. Now I'll just go there to visit.

I love the Rovectin Lotus Water Cream as my daytime summer moisturizer for at least the last two summers. It’s so hydrating and great for daytime! I add pycnogenal and resveratrol from the ordinary two drops of each)
I'm currently loving the Manyo panthetoin balm moisturizer, (plus their essence toner to match), and the Tocobo multi ceramide cream. They're both so good. My usual faves, HG are the Torriden solid in ceramide cream , and essence., and the Mary and May blackberry cream. They're always in my skincare cupboard.
Purito Sleeping Pack is my favorite. It's wonderful. During the day I don't need a moisturizer because the Haruharu chemical sunscreen is so nourishing on its own.
@@NOBSBeauty I totally agree! I love their serums too. I’m currently using the Madagascar centella probio-Cica ampoule which I love. Thanks for your recommendation of their sunscreens. Will give them a try. Regards from Australia 🇦🇺🌺
The Round Lab Dokdo cream is my holy grail! It seems thick but sinks in really easily and feels lightweight yet nourishing. I had a serum that notoriously pilled with other products (ugh), and this was the only moisturizer that worked on top. that's how I knew it was good. I also love that it's 80ml, so you get an extra ounce than other creams. It's truly one of the best.
I’ve been seeing Round lab a lot on shop pay on sale . Looks great and so cheap . Isntree, klairs , are always good for me . Thx for great affordable brands. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream 💙 is my #1 Korean moisturizer. My other favorites are Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream. I know it has a small amount of essential oils but it doesn't irritate my skin and I notice no scent. The Peach & Lily Ultra Plush Cream has become a favorite for me. It's lovely. I also like their Barrier Comfort Cream. I still use Cosrx Snail Cream. I add it to my moisturizer and it's been a game changer. There's so many wonderful choices with K Beauty. Which reminds me I haven't used the Rovectin Lotus Water Cream in a long time. That's another good one.
@@NOBSBeauty I never tried it before they changed the formula but I'm sure it probably had a strong scent then. I was hesitant to get it so I tried the travel size first and let me tell you...I ordered a full size so quick lol It's a wonderful moisturizer especially for those with dry skin and it's a HUGE tube 2.85 oz !!! I love it. I'm almost done with my tube, got a travel size. Hopefully that'll hold me off till Amazon's next sale. I regret not getting it during Amazon Prime Day.
My absolute favorite for the summer is Mary & May Sensitive Soothing Gel Cream - I love the texture of this for my oily skin! It feels so hydrating, with a bit of moisture. It is my favorite gel cream out of trying so many over the years. I have used up 2 jars and have ordered the big 100ml tube version of it. Have you tried this product?
@@NOBSBeauty :)) it is really great product. Especially for oily skin. I truly love it. I have hate and love relationship with this brand - love their serums, and the gel cream. Hated their lotions (in brown pump bottle) and eye cream so much - heavily scented and caused me migraine.
Ok I needed this bc I just ordered Clinique lotion + from stylevana bc it’s the only lotion ever that has not either made my skin sting, or broke me out or gave me more texture. But it’s so expensive and I cannot afford it! But it’s only 21 on their site so I thought I’d go ahead and get it bc I’m almost out but I’d love to find something that could work like that but be cheaper bc it’s hard to afford, I have to put 2-3 layers on at night depending on the season bc I have eczema but also extremely sensitive and dry and acne prone skin, on my face at least, ever since I had my last baby. One other thing that has helped with all that though is I bought a cheap red light panel off amazon and use that on my face and neck and chest and it has helped so much with the sensitivity and acne. Been great. But I haven’t even watched the video yet I can’t wait to see if there’s anything that might work for me. Thanks for always doing what you do for us!!
I think so much changes when you have a baby. Those red light panels are amazing- I've been using mine nightly and my skin feels much less irritated so keep on using it! Another product worth mentioning is the Isntree Aloe Soothing Gel - great for acne prone and easily irritated skin. Have you tried that before?

Sarah❤ QUESTION: The Haru Haru moisturizer- do you think it is suitable for a daily moisturizer? Not too thick? I’m trying to find a new AM moisturizer 💗 Same on the Mary and may? Or more for PM🙏🏻💗
What is your skin type? I would say if you are on the normal to dry side the Haruharu would be great for morning time. If your skin tends to be oily then it might end up being too hydrating towards the end of the day. I would tend to go with the same of the Mary & May - it is great for nighttime but for oilier skin it might be too much for daytime. Their Cica Soothing Gel is a bit more friendly for oilier skin types. The Jin Jung Sung would also be a good one for the morning routine for all skin types. Hope this helps! 🤞
@@NOBSBeauty Sarah- you are a GOD SEND 💗🥹🙏🏻 I would say I am more …. Balanced but extremely SENSITIVE and rosacea prone, so I prefer lighter gel creams in the AM, but have been very dried out from TRETINOIN at night, so I’m finding to need a bit more during the day? 💗 I love the peptides in the Haru Haru, because I love the P+L peptide pro moisturizer for night use (reminds me of that) I was thinking maybe the KAINE aqua green gel cream as well- ectoin panthenol and centella? Appreciate you… ♥️
If you have acne prone skin I would recommend the Neogen High R Exosome Cream, the Round Lab Dokdo Cream, or the Jin Jung Sung Hybrid Face & Eye Cream.
I would probably recommend the Mary & May Idebenone & Blackberry Cream- it contains a bunch of brightening ingredients. The other would be the Jin Jung Sung Hybrid Face & Eye Cream because of the beta-glucan, glutathione, and fig.
It is interesting because I think I end up using it in the same place and same time in my routine I use the LRP. The only difference is the Ceramiaid doesn't have the centella in it so it might not have the same healing properties that the LRP has. If you use the LRP more for soothing then I would stick with that. The Ceramiaid is more on the protecting/hydrating side as opposed to soothing and calming.
How do you layer the moisturisers? I feel like I use some of these in the wrong way if that makes sense. I use the ordinary peptide serum and then the midnight cream for night and the day I use the cosrx peptide hyaluronic acid serum after washing my face then the neogen cream but I do wonder.. is this effective
I use each of these in kind of a different way - the ceramiaid cream is more of an ointment and I typically use it right after toning and before serums to prevent irritation around my mouth area. The Klairs Cream is more of a sleeping mask so I applying it as the last step in my nighttime routine. The Neogen I like to use in my morning routine right after Vitamin C. The Skin 1004 cream works great with retinoids to prevent dryness. It's probably different for everyone but I like a lot of layers because of how dry my skin gets (especially in the winter). If your skin is feeling nice and the products absorb I would say to go for it, but if it ends up pilling or looking greasy then I would probably change things up.
She recently mentioned she had cut out soda and sweets. I did too and it makes a huge difference. Not just in weight but also the skin. As sugar ages the skin.
I've been working on losing weight for about two years- just like @kellysblackcat mentioned - cut out soda (that was single handed the biggest daily calorie consumption I made) but also going to the gym 5-6 days a week. No ozempic, even if my doctor was willing I have a feeling there is zero chance my insurance would cover it. Nothing wrong with those people that use it- my brother in law is on something similar for diabetes and he lost a ton of weight too.
