I decided to look this up on Amazon because as I get older I'm finding the toners I previously used are not consistent and I have had issues finding new ones. I didn't feel the price point was that high compared to some drug store or department store brands I use, so I bought all 3. I did notice a difference with this toner. I have sensitive skin and some products give me a slight itchy rash when applied to the neck/chin area, but no problems here. The moisturizer is nice and has lasted all day unlike my typical one (dept store brand) so I'm really liking that. I'm guessing the difference is this toner and maybe the boosting serum? Either way, I may try to use the toner with my typical moisturizer to see if this is possible with just one of the 3 items - or I'll keep buying all 3 since I know they are made to be compatible.

Hi Dr Dray, it is so exciting to see you to incorporate Korean skincare brands! I have a question on the lines of the K skincare in general. I noticed that they tend to group products into different lines, like acne-prone line, dry skin line, calming line, etc. Yet it seems that products that are intended for dry skin have ingredients that are good for acne-prone skin, such as vitamin b5.. I am just wondering if people with acne-prone skin would use products grouped in dry skin line too? Wouldn't products in dry skin line turn out to be too heavy for acne skins?
Pyunkang Yul is one of those Korean brands that isn't popular in Japan but is really popular in the States. I keep hearing people talking about it so I definitely need it to try it at some point!
@@erikar6041 VT cosmetics is suuuper popular here. So is Tirtir, Toriden, Nature Republic, Mediheal are some of the more popular brands. Of course brands lik Rom& and Manyo Factory are popular here too- but I for sure haven’t seen anyone talk about Pyunkang Yul or even Rounlab or BOJ since they’re not sold in stores here.
@@erikar6041 I haven’t tried it but looked up Toners with Green Tea extracts in Japanese and found a brand called Bonajour. That brand is slowly gaining popularity in Japan with some of their other products. I looked at the ingredients and at a glance the look quite moisturizing. It’s called the Bonajour Green Tea Water Toner.
Great! I spent quite a bit recently on skincare products and I searched your videos for your thoughts and opinions on the brand Kiehl's. I found one where you talk about Kiehl's a little bit and I remember that we agree on the midnight recovery concentrate oil. Skip this oil. I agree. It soaks in pretty fast but the smell changes to gross after just a few minutes so I don't use it anymore. I'm so tired of buying products and seeing no results. I'm a little afraid of retinol but I might just try it. I have a sample containing retinol from Kiehl's but have doubts that I'd notice any changes with such a small amount. Advice is needed and appreciated.
My Future Pug Life: Watch Dr Dray's videos from the past. You don't need more than moisturizer and sunscreen. You can never expect a product to work instantly. Most products start to work after two weeks of regular application, others after six weeks and others after three months, like retinol. Stop wasting your money. Start small with good drugstore products suggested by Dr Dray.
In my experience Kiehl’s is just expensive. You’re paying for the brand. Nothing magic. I bought their face cream and it was fine but cetaphil in the tub was better for me. Actually ended up using that tiny $50 pot up as body cream. Not falling for that again.
@@Hemmyii Yes, it's too expensive. The crazy thing is, I already had budget-friendly options recommended by Dr. Dray and still fell for it! I was using the Cetaphil cream to foam cleanser (love it, still using it most of the time) and CereVe cream (a little too waxy feeling so I'd thin it with one drop of rosehip oil in my hand or one of the many other nice thin oils I've bought. The first mistake was allowing Kiehl's to send text messages to my phone letting me know about every little sale! LOL I'm going to use all of this product up then go back to the budget-friendlies!
Hi Doc, how are you incorporating all of these products daily? You say you have been using these for awhile but you were also using some Maelove products I think as well recently.
Have you tried the dr ceuracle vegan kombucha tea essence?, I think it’s a really nice one 👌 feels a bit like the cream skin in that when u rub it in it feels like it has a moisturiser/oily aspect to it . If there’s no ingredients you don’t like in it , I’d say you’d really like it too.
I have tried quite a few Pyunkang Yul products and the only one I didn't like was their cleansing foam. I found that one to be surprisingly harsh and stripping for my skin.
I used that one too. Took forever to finish because you need very little. It foams up so much. It stings the eyes. It reminds me of the one from Origins.

Hi Jackie! Happy Wednesday!! I hope you had a beautiful day and that you're doing well. Another very windy and cold day here. And another late night getting home from work. I'm so ready to relax and enjoy my tea and kitty cuddles. I think the kitties are ready too. I turned on my heated throw and they've all piled on. Lol! Sweet dreams my sweet friend. Peace, joy and many blessings to you always. 😴🕊😴🙏😴💗☕🐈

Thank you SO much for calling out niacinamides in products!
You look so radiant with the green shirt and bright lips 😍
That green is definitely her color!
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray🌷and everyone watching! Have a beautiful day😊🦋

@@DrDrayzday thanks Sooo much!✨❤️✨
Hi dr dray! Is applying tretinoin on bare skin (so without a moisturiser) increase its efficiency? Given that it can penetrate more deeply?
Yes but at the cost of more irritation which is too big of a drawback
Adnan AIKaltham: Dr Dray has lots of videos on this, search her videos.
I got this as a set for 45€ incl. tax. So if you live in Europe and buy at Dutch retailers wait for 20% off, typical around special days like Easter or mother's day and safe you some coins :)
Did you buy it at Amazon?
Straight to the point! Thanks for sharing!
I used the eye cream and enjoyed it but have the BoJ retinol one this time and do like that more. But pyungkang yul is lovely
I luv the black tea line. They r beautiful. Thank u for doing this.
Started using this recently! I love how it’s soothing and had helped me recover quickly from an acne breakout!
That black tea toner and cream look amazing. As soon as I’m done with my Rovectin essence toner and Hyaluronic acid serum I’m buying a bottle of both of those to use.
Funny! I just ordered some stuff from them! I had ordered their baby wash and loved it, so decided to try their skincare. Now, I'm extra looking forward to trying it out--thanks!
Intensive repair cream and nutrition cream (and moisture serum and ampoule) are just amazing. I don't know what it is but they are so nourishing! and not greasy.
This line looks so good! Sadly, I reacted badly to mugwort in the past so will be choosing carefully
What were your symptoms, if you don;t mind me asking ?
happy Wednesday everyone have a great day xo
Enjoy !
Happy Wednesday
I haven't used a lot as some have ingredients that disagree with me. The popular essance toner was nice but didn't do anything special. I guess there are so many nice hydrating toners. I do like the peeling gel. It's very mild. The cream does sound nice though in this line.
Just ordered the facial cream 😊 My entire skin care is by Dr. Dray and I love it.
I love the eye patches from this line the eyecream was ok if it didn't give me Mila I would have liked it more but I really want to try the serum toner and cream .
They are really good
I switch to the Pyunkang Yul eye cream after my Neutrogena hydroboost gave ME milla, lol. I guess everyone's skin really is that unique :)
@@megleland6320 I can use thick eyecreams to like kheils avacado eye cream the algenist balm I use Benton Fermentation eye cream the biosionse squalene eye cream and the Klairs eye butter all with know issue at all so for me not to like that and get bumps was crazy to me.
I've tried a few things from pyunkang yul and I love all of them. They are so affordable and so effective. I love their low ph shampoo r n; it's so good for my sensitive scalp.
IT doesn't matter - oily Skin is often oily because it has not enough Moisture!
Try it by yourself ..Same with Acne Prone ...
I like everything I’ve tried from this brand, though I’ve only repurchased the cleanser. It seems very elegant for the low price.
Pyunkang Yul is one of those Korean brands that isn't popular in Japan but is really popular in the States. I keep hearing people talking about it so I definitely need it to try it at some point!
You have me very curious what! What are the popular lines in Japan? 🙏
Can you suggest some good Japanese products for oily sensitive skin? I have been eyeing Naturie and Sana but have been a bit hesitant!
The IsnTree Green Tea toner is SO drying on my maturing but oilyish skin. Would love a hydrating green tea product
Very interesting,
I know Green Tea 🍵 is an amazing ingredient in skin care, not familiar with Black Tea though, so thank you 🙏
She's talked about black tea in a video or two before as well.
Kelly B, it's not just tea, it's *fermented tea*, look up what the company says about the product.
Could you possibly make a video on how to use these morning/night with or without retinol?
I’ve been using some Korean products & would like to hear more about the different products you’ve used! 🥰
Try doing a search, dr dray korean. You should get a list of videos.

I LOVE Skii essence. I can't even really quantify it. my skin just looks great when I use it 🎉
Hi Doc, how are you incorporating all of these products daily? You say you have been using these for awhile but you were also using some Maelove products I think as well recently.
Happy Wednesday!
You too!!
Really nice video. I like Korean beauty Products
Thanks, Love ♥️
Korean skincare products and Dr Dray! It's like peanut butter and strawberry jam for me!
@@TheBeautySpectator I've heard that as well from another channel I follow who uses k-beauty products. She said you need less than you would think you need of a lot of the products.
@@db-gb5xi good to know
I agree but they also have a low ph cleansing foam which is way better and not harsh but also very foamy/ concentrated. Love it
It left my skin super dry
Your hair is beautiful! I love it at this mid-length look!
Hello @DrDray I wanted to ask about this igredients: Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer and Hydrogenated C6-14 Olefin Polymers - Aren't these microplastics ? I'm already lost in the maze of ingredients and lately I've been hearing that, among other things, these ingredients need to be avoided and I see that they are present in a lot of Korean cosmetics. I beg for your advice ❤😅 Thank you
I like the sound to the toner. Would it work alongside vitamin c?
