I use Korean skincare so I've tried mostly various Korean vitamin Cs. I liked Torriden the best and then Celimax. I also like Benton, Goodal, Make Prem, Numbuzin 5, Isntree, Neogen and the Japanese Melano CC premium. I tried Purito and Wishtrend but those were too strong, Varihope but it smelled bad and was only a small volume, and the Beauty of Joseon but that was too weak and did nothing. Benton is now in an airless pump too, and Melano CC also has good airtight packaging too Out of those western ones I just used that Naturium one, and also some others like face theory but Korean skincare takes the cake for me. I find Korean ones don't irritate me and usually have other brightening ingredients good for for asian/SOC skin. Would love to see you cover Korean vitamin Cs one day!
@dubai_fitness A couple of reasons. Men get razor bumps when shaving. We need some products that will help minimize the soars. Men have different hair types than women. It would be great to incorporate a hair moisturizer for Men of color. Those two along would do wonders for Men.

I have not been able to tolerate any other brands but the Paula’s choice. It makes my skin feel supple and gives it a glow. I haven’t seen any of my spots lightened much. Only been using it for a short time but I like it enough I’ve brought another bottle.

@reenerneener I think it's only black people who get them, not all skin of colour. Regardless, there's nothing to be done about them because dermatology hasn't cared to study cosmetic things that only affects black people. There is no prevention; there is no cure. You're either lucky or unlucky. If you're both rich and brave enough, you can try getting them cut out, but then you risk hyperpigmentation, and they can just come back anyway. I learnt these depressing facts from Dr Stephens and Dr Dray here on RUclips.

Dr V, what about The Inkey List 15% Vitamin C + EGF Serum? It has a stable form of vitamin C (15% of Ascorbyl Glucoside), airless packaging, and 1% of EGF Epidermal Growth Factor. It has Benzyl Alcohol, which I am not sure if it's a bad ingredient, like denatured alcohol.

My skin has so much concerns like acne, redness and also pigmentation. I am 26 btw and was thinking of starting retinol too but i am scared as my skin is already always red
I actually trusted La roche posay uv mune sunscreen because of the unique filters they use , worked really well for my oily skin and not oily like most sunscreens 😢😢😢
Great video Dr. V. I only use your products, CerPep is my moisturizer and as such I will need a VitC serum. Clearly I'm not going to spend $81 so yes please put VitC in Cera Pep. In the meantime should I buy the AM gel even though I have dry skin to use with Cera Pep?
It's true. It's the only Vitamin C serum I've repurchased in the past. They have a "super" version that contains more ingredients. Wonder why she didn't include it in this video🤔

Does it cause my irritation? I have sensitive skin and I tried multiple forms of vit c and most of them caused breakouts..

This video made me realize that here in South Africa, we have no vitamin C products that are suitable for skin of color.
