    Bad decisionmaking is a sign of dehydration, but it often seems like no big deal when it's happening and that makes it extremely dangerous. Street riding on a super hot L.A. day, getting very dehydrated but I'm still passing places where water could be found because I'm suddenly fussy about where to stop. It took mindlessly sailing through an intersection on a red light to finally SHUT IT DOWN.

    • @catalystreactionsbw
      @catalystreactionsbw  4 года назад +2

      Dunlop slicks can be reversed so you can get 4-7 track days out of them. Great for longevity and $$ ROI. If you ride the same tracks the same direction, any hypersport tire will not last anywhere near as long. BUT, if you ride street as well - therein lies the quandary unless you opt for a second set of wheels?

  • @enigma02g
    @enigma02g 2 года назад

    Bought a set of Q4's for my Ducati 1098s after so many reviews. To be honest I'm, not a fan. They really do need alot of heat to be useful on the street and don't provide positive feedback. Much bigger fan of Michelin pilot sports.

    • @catalystreactionsbw
      @catalystreactionsbw  2 года назад

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Can I ask what the ambient temperatures were on average? What cold pressures did you start with?

    • @enigma02g
      @enigma02g 2 года назад

      @@catalystreactionsbw 34psi front, 36psi rear, average ambient temp of 80-90 degrees and a surface temp around 100 with east coast humidity. I like that they are consistent at most speeds but you really need to push them when not on a track. When coming out of a garage the first few miles they feel like rock hard 10 year old tires where I can feel the back end starting to slide in mild corners at low/mild speed. Front and rear were installed together and have about 200 miles of road use. The Michelin pilot sports however come up to temp much faster and really come alive once warmed. Not a track tire but I feel more confident on them then the Q4's.

      @@robertortiz3345 I agree that the recommended pressures for a 1098 are higher then average, but every single piece of information for them says to never go that low. The Michelin pilot 2ct are all around better in my riding experience. I just feel the Q4's are over rated. I'll be switching away from them when next set comes due.
