The The Q5's stick great at the track but you burn up a rear in 1 day on a 600. I can't imagine what a 1000 would do. Previously I was running Q4+ (front) and Q3+ (rear). They worked great and lasted. With the Q3's being discontinued, I'm switching to Parelli SC3's.
Just ran a set of these at Atlanta Motorsports Park, B group. They stick like glue, absolutely amazing. For reference: I’ve run Q3+, Q4, and KR slicks.
@rnrsafari2533 you're going backwards. The Rosso IV Corsa is the segment leader. You should have tried all the other tires before moving to the Corsa. I just put on a set of the Rosso IV [non Corsa] and it feels amazing for a road tire; a lot like the supercorsa. I went with the non Corsa model because I'm on a 1k and I don't ride it at the track. I expect
Just bring back the Q3+.They out performed the Pirelli Rosso's in every area and allowed for track days and clearly out performed all the recent "updates"
Bro both of my bike tyre wearing one side( right side). No one can solve the issue till now, can you please help me to find the issue. And just few month before I changed my bike T-stem and cone set and there is no bend in my fork.
My front 120 60R17 Q5S has a weird pattern on the outside of the tread. Some people are saying this comes from the mold. Can anyone confirm that this is ok?
It is encouraging that the Dunlop guy acknowledged the quick trackday wear of the Q4 in the acceleration area of the tire, although I don't think it is just the depth of the groove. I burned up a couple Q4 rears (down to the bottom of the groove, not the wear bar) in less than a track day before giving up on them and currently get 2-3 days out of a Michelin slick2 or Metz TD. It would be cool if Dunlop released an easy to use trackday slick with good wear and grip.
kinda bogus explanation on Q4 wear, by the time i got to the groove on my rear on Q4 i would be sliding all over the place on corner exits. i could get 1 day out of a Q4 rear whereas on a medium slick i get 3 or 4 days and more grip. hopefully the q5 lasts a bit longer for people.
Hi Brendan, yeah sorry man. To be fair, I haven't published the written article yet. Am a one-man band here so it is difficult to direct, shoot/edit, publish, manage, write, edit, schedule, etc. all in an nine-hour work day, Monday through Friday. The website also lacks search function for reasons beyond me. I use Google as the search function so I type "XYZ Motorcyclist Online". If I know the year, I will add that as a variable too. For example, "2023 XYZ Motorcyclist Online". Hope that helps and we will continue working as hard as possible during the confines of a 45 hour work week to publish this editorial to you folks.
This tire has been nothing but complete garbage multiple friends multiple different bikes they all wear terrible and as soon as you switch the tire all the problems go away. There is something wrong with these.
Q3s were my go to for track days. I wished these were as affordable as the 3s
Q3+ BEST tyre ever such a great road and track tyre
And so much feedback from the fronts
The

whats a Parelli???
Yeah those tread wear indicators on the Q4 where barely below the tread surface even on a brand new tire. Glad they changed that.
Can’t wait to put these Dunlop Q5s on my R1 been running Q3+ I’m a absolutely Dunlop fan boy
What happened to the on track footage?
I can assume the tires were done in 4 sessions so they didn't post it.
Great review! I'm surprised nobody mentioned the lettering. That gives you at least 5+ mph around corners easy.
Because they don't come like that, mine are solid black and it has a American flag imprinted on them, I'm Dunlop fan now
They should release the tire with the yellow Dunlop. I've hear they use that stamp to indicate tires made specifically for promo/sponsorship
This bike is sweet af. Awesome paint.
Yeah, I agree. Paint is extra tasty.

Very nice. Thanks for sounding off. Love hearing from our riding community!
would you pick the q5s over the corsa 2 or the rosso 3/4? Or Michelann power 5 or 2CT?
awsome video thank you for the time
Rosso iv corsa
thank you, i tried those out last summer. now on the Power GP2. cant wait for summer!@@ayowser01

Q3 were legendary, $$ has me buying other options
You can go fast -or- cheap. Fast is more fun.
I always wanted to try the Q series but the Rosso Series are always so well priced
Wow that exhaust looks and sounds insane, great video and prep work to show case this, love it guys.

what psi?

Where can we get a Q5 tee shirt

Trying to find the q5 article is not as easy as it should be

I like Dunlops, but on a powerful liter bike, Bridgestone RS11 is a nice grippy tire that also wears well. I plan to try the Q5 on my RC390.
Shame you can't find these Q series tyres in Europe 😅
I was searching for them and though i misspelled them or something. Thank You
I have a q5s on the rear and q5 on the front on my s1000rr
Is that an XSR700?
Xsr1300 classic
I like Adam but his stop...and...start...speaking...style...just...pisses...me...off... lol
Just put the video in 1.25 play speed 😂
@@trashcan9615 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Commuting on this tire seems like a waste...?

WHY ON EARTH ARE THEY NOT SOLD IN EUROPE??? We only get crap from dunlop.
Nothing is better than Super Corsa's
Have Super Corsa TD's at the moment and they're great for A group pace. SC's for racing 👌
You need to give the Power cups a go, i was suprised by that tyre😉
European GP Racers offer the similar grip but last longer as SCs
