So many people didnt catch the "Invisible, hidden in a dark room at the center of a maze thats located somewhere" bit. It was a HUGE clue to one of the challenges. Even *I* didnt get it at first, and i'm proud of my video game knowledge
@@janmed1592 More specifically, its referring to the Atari 2600 easter egg. The egg is invisible, and its in an inaccessible room, in the middle of a maze. Specifically the microdot inside the secret room in the catacombs of the Black Castle, Adventure video game.
Wisdom to look backwards Courage to take the leap 3rd is kinda Wisdom again which ruins the metaphor, though I guess you did have to power your way to the last key
If I won I’ll use the money to make reality worth living in try what I can to make even a sliver of our future seem brighter and with the game I’ll see it that everyone is allowed to play no restrictions no hidden agendas it was made as a paradise for all and I’m gonna make it that way
It's sad that they say this movie is based on a book when Hollywood blatantly chose to NOT pay attention to detail. The book literally lays this scene out in such a detailed way, I could have drawn a more accurate animation sequence. This is pathetic. Doing it exactly how the book said it was done would have added MAYBE a couple more minutes to the film. It does not make any sense how lazy they were with this scene. Movies based on books should all be cancelled since the film industry is too worried about $$ to actually pay attention and do things the way they were written.
I think I would rather to inherit his fortune to win the three keys in the trio of challenges to find his hidden Easter Egg to seek the control of the OASIS when I am in this video game world.
According to the book, Halliday made the contest because he had no friends or family to pass his inheritance on. But why not Ogden Morrow? He was the co founder of the Oasis after all.
@Emiliano Miller A Candy Dog with fur made out of cotton candy, i would have glitter and cupcake sprinkles on my fur, and my name would be Pinkcandy11 or Candy for short.
Some parts were but I enjoyed the movie better. The book had a lot of references that I just didn’t really understand because I didn’t grow up in the 80s. Don’t get me wrong I think Zee should’ve been the one captured by 101 and that they should’ve added diatos death along with Zee’s poverty and how the first key was found. But the movie was great,
If I won the Easter egg, unlike greedy assholes I’d use it not as a marketing tool. I’d still use the money but I use a small percentage for myself like 2% and the rest for charity. And have days on Sundays Tuesdays and Thursday. I mean people need to get out and get some sun. I know that’s saying a lot, but still it’s the principal.
Great book piece of shit movie got a hole 10min before I walked out of the theater they slaughtered the book absolutely I will never forgive Spielberg for this.
This is what I thought of when I heard that Stan Lee died today.
Hey, four years later he’s not really dead. He’s just a memory that’s never gonna be forgotten

“Currently valued at half a million dol- half a trillion dollars” Yeah buddy just a small change there
Was that from the book
Fun sad fact: Technoblade used the same phrase "If you're watching this, I'm dead." from James Halliday in his 'So long, nerds' video
If I don’t get a funeral like that I’m not coming.
Currently valued an excessive half a million dol- half a trillion dollars. 😂
ADVENTUREE TIMEE lol I loved that part too😅
Funniest part for me. When you have too much money, that you lost count of the zeros.
Well in the book it was a quarter of a trillion
a small loan of a trillion dollars
0:33 techno said this 😥🥲

No it has to do with actual metaphysics and study of thought. U were watching a wizard what else Holly wood telling , if u even see lol lmao
Holliday’s a godly character in this video game movie masterpiece. Hands down to Mark Rylance phenomenal performance in Spielberg’s film
ready player one literally has the plot as one piece
This remember me to gol d. Roger's last words, which launched a lot of people in search of a great treasure
Simple words wimple sentences can wild the world
If you're watching this...
I'm Dead.🙃
Joan Jett at the end. What a great scene
This scene in the book is more extravagant.
0:48 - 0:54 two combinations of the little girl from the movie annabelle comes home and annabelle creation (mckenna grace and one more idk)
0:17 Star Trek!
Star wars
@@olleselin I think they are being sarcastic 😂

I imagined that, three three keys or figures of Triforce, Farore the Goddess of Courage, Nayru the Goddess of Wisdom and Din the Goddess of Power.
Wisdom to look backwards
Courage to take the leap
3rd is kinda Wisdom again which ruins the metaphor, though I guess you did have to power your way to the last key
Best movie intro of 2018
Hell yeah I’m reading the new book. That’s why im here
If I won the key I would make the world a better place by using the funds to fund research and development
Is it just me, or does Halliday sound a lot like Mark Ruffalo
I first thought it was Ozzy Osbourne

OH SHIT ITS THE STAR TREK LOGO!!!! OMFG!!! 😄😄😄😄
And a replica of Spock's coffin at the end of Wrath of Khan.
Half a trillion dollars is still less than the annual budget of theUS military 😂
Yeah but that's the budget of a whole country. This is just one man lol

In the book it was said that the coins were from 1984.

i think in german the scene is better
Warum? Ich bin aus Deutschland und ich mag die Szene auf Englisch lieber.
