Ive been a fan of yours since I was just a kid. I was 12 I believe when I first heard you. You got me through tough times. I was a ward of the state and moved a lot through group homes as a child here in CT. Your music I listened to religiously and it transported me to another place. I've never heard anyone still who has even anywhere close to your unique style and sound. Your music is so beautiful, so deep, so rhythmic. My favorite song of all time for years was Garden. What an amazing piece of art that song is. Stunningly beautiful. How on earth a song I've heard thousands of times still manages to give me chills, it's something else. Then I became obsessed with Calling all cars. I love your live performance of that song. It's so cool, you create an atmosphere with your sound that takes me to a happier place. I recently got sober I'm 29 and I've been drinking half a 1.75L of bourbon a day for years. It's been 4 months, sober since May 1st. I've come back to your music. It's like I'm rediscovering the safe haven your music created for me in the dark times of my youth and it's been a great blessing. In this world very few people have the magic that you have. I thought I had heard all of your music until recently and now the two songs I cannot for the sake of me stop listening to are rattlesnake charm and smoking signals. Two of the best if not the best songs I have ever listened to. I just close my eyes and listen. Thank you Sean for giving me that mental escape for the better part of my life now. You are a beautiful person. I hope to hear you live one day. Take care.
