I think I get the exclusion of 'the fill'. That would have been a point of familiarity and comfort in an otherwise dark, bleak, and forlorn rendition of this song. The fact that it wasn't there kept you waiting for something that never came and left you feeling just a little bit empty at the end. Genius!

A song with a seriously dark sounding core to it, made even darker by Orlandi and Melodicka. Once again, a masterpiece!
What makes it work is Violet is digging into the darker elements without fundamentally changing the song.

Wow this was dark, I know the original is technically a dark song too but this was on a whole different level, what an amazing cover.
Not sure if it's the the synth, vocals, or the visuals... Goosebumps every time.

I loved this, I'll be honest, usually I'm very wary when someone covers this song as it is one of my favourites, but you do an excellent job Violet and the Melodicka Bros. The video and the song go really well together, they both have dark and light moments i.e. the lyrics of the song, the music played, the style of singing as well as the whole dark magic rituals, suicide dramatisation, as well as the whole comedic romantic parts with Violet and the Chucky doll, the moments where they are watching movies, drinking tea together and the part with the tooth brushing is genius and shows that you can do dark stuff but still have moments of levity!

Whoever was in charge of the filmography gets a fucking standing ovation. I knew the warning at the start but my god the happy imagery soon followed by “I’ve been waiting for this moment” and cutting to the gun on the end table. Talk about power of the perfect cut. Instantly took this from being a “ok she’s weird but she happy” to “oh my god no she’s getting used and is about to do something stupid”
Course I finished watching and realized it wasn’t her (should have gotten context from the photo) but still Chills at that moment. Well done

I know it was simply a video. However its always a good time to remind people that to someone out there you just may be the whole world.... It doesnt take much effort to listen and be very careful with the feelings someone gives to you.... We all forget it at times.....
We are all born with a cup full of trust and hope... Little by little that is taken from you and very few put back more then they have taken... When you look down one day and that cup is empty it can become very dark.... Always try to put some back for the people that care about you...
It's odd to hear this without that initial drum riff. They way the percussion is handled completely changes the feel of the song. Very well done

While I wondered how you would handle the famous drum part--which you did admirably and that move focused all my attention on the song as a whole--what really impressed me is how well you nailed the fade-out energy escalation. That showed, to me, an understanding of the song on par with the way Disturbed understood "The Sound of Silence."
