Brilliant as always. Can't really call it a cover though - it's a total reworking - which is a good thing. Pretty much all of Violet's "covers" aren't; which is what sets her (and the artists she works with) apart from other (also talented) cover artists.

The words are the same, the tune is almost the same, but a bit uncanny, and if you watch the video closely, you will see that this song is about a murder. The original is about a breakup. There are some very subtle differences that are woven into the fabric of the song that alter its core. Granted, that's my interpretation, but based on the pinned comment, I think my interpretation is close to the intended effect by the artists.
