I met with two state troopers today (Troop H) where I live. I recognized one of their names due to seeing them on this channel. I said, “Are ya’ll the troopers from Natural State Transparency?” They laughed and said, “Yes Ma’am we are, We are all on there.” They gave me a bracelet. I have a criminal past and although I haven’t been in trouble in years I still get nervous around police. But today it was so refreshing seeing them in a different light. What crimes did you commit in the past?
@@donarthiazi2443 several, mostly due to my addiction. I am in recovery now though. Mainly credit card fraud, felon in possession of a firearm, B & E, and I had one DUI drugs, to name a few. But I was in my early to mid 20s at the time and going down a bad path. I have been sober 5 years off of pills. Honestly prison saved me and the Lord. I would mostly likely be dead if it weren’t for getting caught.
I love all of them they protected me from a very violent man, or 2. The last 1 violent guy knocked my tooth loose and knocked me out kept me held down forever 2 weeks once. I will never forget. They are life savers.
Classmates; each choosing a different path. One wears a trooper's hat, the other a baseball hat inside the trooper's car cuffed. You could tell Trooper Carlton hated doing this but he had no choice. Parents: your child's future is in your hands. What kind of example are you going to be?

This was a very sad video 😢 I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the guy in the backseat, realizing the difference between the way he was obviously raised compared to the trooper. I just kept thinking that if given the chance he may have been a trooper like his former teammate! I wish people would wake up and see how destructive drugs really are for children and families!! It’s a vicious cycle!! God, Please Help Our Country and Keep Our Officers Safe 🙏🏻❤

I have 20 years clean as of June 2023 Im grateful for my sobriety. Its so hard to get clean and stay clean but its possible and it is so worth it because my son will be 19 tomorrow has never been in trouble, drank, smoked, used drugs. Yes i am very proud.

That “don’t I know you?” always hits hard. Two people that took totally different paths in life. One probably had a better role model(s) at home, but at the end of the day, at some point our bad choices come back to bite us

I love these ASP Troopers, they are a credit to their state and all law enforcement. And thank you NST for letting us see the human side of these troopers, it's important that they're seen as people and not the enemy. It's easy to see that the trooper was upset with how this guy turned out, "You were a good kid in school, I gave you a ride home from practice". Sad to see this.

This gives me a great incentive to clean out my car! Wonderful search Trooper! It does hit hard when you know those people, and it is in your hometown. I hope when they tow that car, they search it even more thoroughly.
I'm a lady and only carry a coin purse. I have a small mess of tools on the floor of my truck but other than that no stuff to rummage thru like this woman, dang....But I'm still going to go see what I can toss.
Trooper Carlton was pretty thorough in his search. Had to laugh when he dumped the contents of the bag out onto the back seat. Probably should turn the car upside down and shake it.

These car searches are always so long. People carry so much crap with them. This lady had bags upon bags and each bag had more bags. I’m telling you an officer could search my entire care in less than 3 minutes and that includes my purse!!! The glove box has a tire pressure gage, registration and insurance cards and maintenance records. My console has some change and my trunk has booster cables. The spare tire area has the tire and jack. Oh and my purse has my key fob, wallet and glasses. Nothing under the seats or floor mats. This lady’s car is ridiculous!!!!

Those people are probably hoarders. If you find a car filled to the gills with trash and clutter, chances are, it belongs to a HOARDER! Just imagine what their homes are like if the cars are that full.
I've had five troopers in my house at one time helping me with an unruly senile brother. They filled the living room and I felt like an ant. They were all helpful and polite and huge
@@mfi-cf7sp It wasn't exactly Alzheimer's It was because of his medications, he had cancer but he would get mean, very mean. The small as he had gotten he was very strong. Bless his heart he never remembered and would cry and you found out. He's gone now hopefully resting peacefully
I've been watching these videos for a while now and this is probably the first one, I saw where the officer actually took the phone, all other videos they were letting people make calls and talk and text. No sir you have to be concerned about your safety at all times good job brother. And he searched that damn car for more than an hour lol.

Damn that officer is good! Such patience to do a throughout search. Sometimes I wonder how did they know there are drugs in the vehicle. Maybe, experience, body language or some roads are more travelled by these types of individuals. Anyhow good job officer Carlton.
Passenger has a warrant and has a record with prior drug offenses, has a crack pipe so it is obvious that their is probably dope in the car
With meth all you have to do is look at the face and the writing is written all over their wall. Also the guy in back seat was on so much I could tell with him too. The lock jaw look. So sad! So sad!!!

I FELT SO BAD FOR THE TROOPER WITH HIM KNOWING HE WENT TO SCHOOL WITH THIS KID, GIVING HIM RIDES HOME FROM BASKETBALL PRACTICE AND HE LIKED HIM. HIS FACE TOLD ME ARRESTING HIM WAS THE "LAST" THING HE WANTED TO DO. CHANCES ARE THIS KID GREW UP AROUND IT AND NOW HE DOESN'T HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS OWN CHILDREN. TERRIBLY ADDICTING DRUG I HEAR.
Wouldn't it be nice if our law enforcement agencies would stop the tons of meth and fentanyl crossing over our unsecured, open southern border daily.

I don't know what its like coming off meth but I was doing oxy/Xanax combined. By this time I would have came dn in the back of that cruiser & been in full detox. My weekend in jail was not a pleasant experience! Almost 2 yrs clean & happy.
Question: is Arkansas the only state that mandates that all vehicles have a minimum of 1 drug scale and that vehicle operators to not have a driver’s license on them?

I appreciate the fact that this Trooper is so passionate about why he is a Trooper. I have yet to see a boring video. Watching Arkansas Law Enforcement doing their job is interesting and prideful. I guess some people would say I'm a little weird. 🤷♀️🇺🇸 I enjoy seeing the Officers I work with do their job. Some of them have commented how much they admire ASP. ❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸

Helps him work . That's a good one . Yes you get tonnes of energy but you will end up sorry . I did it 50 years ago and ended with Hep B and C and sclerosis of the liver at 23 . Had to go COMPLETELY straight after that and that was not fun . Still young and couldn't do a damn thing for relaxation . After 25 years I was told my liver was quite stable but scarred . Pot's legal where I live and it is my vise in my old age . Helps with anxiety and depression for me . Meth has stuff like drain o in it . Not a sustainable endeavor people .

SHE, didn't run. He was a passenger, SHE'S responsible for the Drug Store, he had his own problems hidden in his pants, although he told the trooper before the search he didn't have anything!

- I watch all types of videos, even including some 1st amendment auditor channels. An example of one I watch is RUclips: Long Island Audit.
- “Transparency” is an overused term in the auditor world. I saw it used there frequently.
- Because I was in LE; because I want to show what actually happens and the interactions the term “Transparency” just made sense. An open book, if you will. Transparent…
- The State if Arkansas is officially known as the “Natural State”.
