Premier lands player of the format was in an eggs disguise.
Also Bengineering spoiled us on the "in the tank, island, pass" turn, but it was still an amazing moment!

I feel like wheeler and serge would really enjoy playing cEDH decks! There’s a lot of high power similarity between cEDH and Canadian Highlander, with the added twist of it being 4 players rather than two. I would LOVE to see it sometime

I look forward to seeing a build of eggs on the show once drafna is legal in canlander, that card puts some spicy loops into eggs! Speaking of which, would it be possible to get some sort of info with each episode about what cards were legal at the time of recording? It can be really helpful when referencing these games and lists to know what was available and didn’t make the cut versus what might have made it if it were legal at the time.

I'm really hoping my LGS can get canlander going. I feel it's the best parts of commander with the best parts of legacy; singleton for fun deck building, while letting you play with powerful cards you can't anywhere else.

I would have fetched the forest because you could have UU with the Merfolk that turns any land into an island.
Not attacking with the 1/1 telegraphs a lot, especially since you want to pressure the life total.
I love the table talk after each game, also see Serges just face drain as he saw the combo in game 1 is 🤌. P.S Wheeler is just so handsome, PSS. Serge is cute.

I think Spell Piercing the Crucible migtht have been better. Sure, Wheeler could have paid the 3, but sometimes Spell Pierce, Daze etc aren't as much of a counterspell and much more a tool to inflate the Mana Cost, which combined with Back To Basics possibly could have stalled Wheeler an extra turn.

I think Serge is right when he says that it doesn't go infinite, it's just super efficient. Turning one land into 6 mana is really solid, and I guess with Fastbond then it would probably go infinite.
If I could play a game with Wheeler, Serge and Jim from spike feeders I think I could die happy
