Good job. I finally got my 188 engine to run last weekend. It has a leaking injector line and is smoking like a battleship but it’s running. It’s in my 68 case 580ck.
Bad news but common on the case 188 and 207 engines. Very realiable engines but they run until the main bearings give out. I recently rebuild a case 207 out of a forklift it had a window on the side of the block because #4 rod locked up and they ran it until it blew up. I bought a core engine, lucky me they are hard to find but also #4 rod was also locked up but block was good, bought all my parts from Ag kits, the crankshaft, rod, rebuild kit and injector nozzles. You should also take your block to the machine shop to make sure your mains didn’t get distorted with the heat of spun bearings.

Hey while you're waiting on that machine shop & parts order I'm thinking we need a cattle video & or a bearing maintenance video 👍
Wooden block knock those sleeves right out thru the top and install them thru the top..I did it on my allis Chalmers hd 6 track loader

I will take that into consideration and inspect the block thanks for the tip
@@GRTRanchadventures Take the rods to the shop with the crank, they may need to re-size the rod end
@@scottnunya1 the kit I'm using comes with new rods and Pistons
@@GRTRanchadventures Nice, I didn't know there were kits that included rods
Sick video! That also looks like a cool tent garage you got there, I want one of those lol. What brand is that?
Redneck solutions, the GRT clean room lol. It's just a cheap pop up canopy with tarps wrapped around quick and simple
@@GRTRanchadventures I was thinking you would do the tent after teardown,, so you didn't get the debris from teardown inside the tent.
@@scottnunya1 I built it so I would have a place to tear down and rebuild
