On plasti-gauge the smaller the width of the squished gauge the larger the space between parts, so I may have said it wrong but the gauge was much smaller than.007" which means the gap was bigger than .007", the max gap allowed per the manual was .008" and since the engine failed due to oil starvation to the rear main bearing I opted to replace the pump.

Looks like you found the right video mine is a 580b roughly a 1970 not sure exactly what year the data plates have been sand blasted so it's not readable
Are you thinking of that right about the pump? The tolerance is smaller not greater than 8 thousandth.
