That dancing in the club then the scene where he turns her....sexy guy...and man in 2022 hes 80 yrs old.....the man looks barely 60!!! Handsome still!!!
Actually the reason they had him eating fruit throughout the movie was because the Writer and Chris discussed how ALL Bats are actually fruit bats. Yes, even the dreaded Vampire Bat does eat fruit too.
At first i thought it was a subtle trick to throw off that he was a vampire. For example, to demonstrate that he is vegan or something, or even to show that there are no fang tooth marks in the apple.
Just watched this again for the umpteenth time and as usual promised myself I'd try to find out why he ate fruit. I always thought it was odd first of all because it was fruit and second of all because vampires are known to not eat because they can't. So this post was right on time. Thank you!
Well Its debatable , what kind of fruit it was unless you were there and know for sure it wasn't a apple then it could very well have been its popular belief so its ok to go with that 😂
I don’t know if anyone ever noticed this-but in the opening shot of the movie when Peter Vincent goes to kill the female vampire, he holds the stake wrong…he’s actually holding it backwards! 👀
To me, the best vampire movies of all time are: 1) Bram Stocker's Dracula 2) 30 days at night 3) The Hunger 4) Let the right one in (the Swedish version) But..... None of them is so dear to my heart as Fright Night!
En su momento esta película cautivó a mi familia y a mi. Muy entretenida, con un estilo videoclip marcado. Buena música y algunas escenas de terror bastante logradas, teniendo en cuenta que es una peli de los 80s.
I disagree, Both Jerry's are cool but I liked Colin Farrell's a little more. Chris was classier but Colin Farrell's Jerry was more intimidating, a true apex predator sociopath.
Classic vampire movie 🎬
This movie is nothing less than perfect, that remake was complete ass!
Apples or not, the most gorgeous vampire ever. No one will ever top him.
He had swag!
That dancing in the club then the scene where he turns her....sexy guy...and man in 2022 hes 80 yrs old.....the man looks barely 60!!! Handsome still!!!
Keifer Sutherland: hold my blood wine
I love the way he portraits his role as a vampire in that movie
@@WallaWallaFunTime💯
This came on Saturday night followed by Lost Boys. Two of my favorite vamp flicks.
Near Dark is another classic.
This is my favorite vampire movie ever! Ever! Chris Sarandon is gorgeous!
That guy was scary without makeup 😮 chillingly so....classic
To prove to him that I'm not, a vampire. Smooth.
Killer movie with a GREAT SOUND TRACK
Totally agree … Brad Fiedel
I was fortunate to meet him at NJ Horror con two weeks ago and get a picture and autograph. Very nice guy
Actually the reason they had him eating fruit throughout the movie was because the Writer and Chris discussed how ALL Bats are actually fruit bats. Yes, even the dreaded Vampire Bat does eat fruit too.
We must have seen different interviews 🤔
One of the best films ever
He’s very handsome
This guy is a great and best vampire actor!
I always thought that it was about cleaning the teeth and improving on the "death breath".
Sort of.
At first i thought it was a subtle trick to throw off that he was a vampire. For example, to demonstrate that he is vegan or something, or even to show that there are no fang tooth marks in the apple.
Dad joke was 🤌
That's pretty clever damn
This is my all time fav horror movie! Bought it off RUclips for a crazy amount! Don’t regret a thing
A PIMP "MOONLIGHTING" AS A VAMPIRE!😂
My favourite vampire movie
How can that be?! Vampires can only have blood nothing else!!! Not even fruit.
Oh yeah… real vampires. Smh
Love the movie
He was so handsome
I'd choose this Film over The Lost Boys
Without a doubt! This movie will always be a classic
@@WallaWallaFunTime hell I even saw Part 2 definitely not as good as part 1 but still pretty good
I think Fright Night was definitely the scarier of the two 😱 🦇
@@mattvee4827 Agree 👍💯
It’s close!
Chris is the sexiest vampire, hands down.❤
Awesome Classic and my favorite Vampire Movie
... yeah he had something....
That's genius very clever would have never thought of that makes sense 🤔
Love this movie
O vampiro mais lindo de todos os tempos ❤❤❤❤ adoro esse filme😂❤❤❤
Me encanta esta película, la eh visto millones de veces...
What a great factoid. Thanks
Excellent the Best !!!!!!!!! Way to go !!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😁😁😁😁👍👍
Porque Come Manzana ??
Amazing vampire movie & the soundtrack.
Genius ❤️
Top film👍
It was sad that going into the 90s his career didn't reflect the stardom he had during the 80s.

smooth xD
Very smooth..
♥️♥️♥️
That's why Jerry Dandridge was considered a fruit bar, other than just strictly vampire
They should do part 3
I always thought it was because saten was the snake in the he garden and convinced her to eat an apple
It’s wasn’t a apple
Well Its
debatable , what kind of fruit it was unless you were there and know for sure it wasn't a apple then it could very well have been its popular belief so its ok to go with that 😂
Eu amei esse filme esse vampiro maravilhoso
Awesome 😊
For a vampire, he sure eats a lot of apples and oranges. 🤔
Love this movie...just love it.
great movie. I like the soundtrack too. 👍
Legal ja assisti varias vezes
He did have alot of fruit in him 😂
Question, how did Jerry lift up the bouncer and threw him
On the floor? I’m like woah he flew like a 40 pound bag of
Rice
You can tell there's a lift in that scene.
That's at least part of it.
Because vampires are very strong, it was probably like picking up a feather for him.
Great movie, but the constant eating of fruit always looks out of place.
Fruit bats are the cute ones that don't bite though
I don’t know if anyone ever noticed this-but in the opening shot of the movie when Peter Vincent goes to kill the female vampire, he holds the stake wrong…he’s actually holding it backwards! 👀

I always wondered why he was always eating apples.

I thought he ate apples to keep his fangs sharp.
Best of the best! ❤❤❤ I was there!
I always wanted to know why he was eating apples 🍏 🍎 and where did that random fruit come from when he was walking down the stairs
I ordered an 11x14 poster and had it framed and it came out absolutely gorgeous.
I should go from near of my neighboor's his house 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 so that l need to go to other a country 😜😜😜😜🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You could say Jerry was pretty fruity. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Shit i didn't know that was Susan's husband..back then
They divorced long before that..she just kept the name....she was divorced before rocky horror
they TRIED to out-cool Chris Sarandon with Colin Farrell, but not even he had what it takes lol.
Also, interesting fact. Didnt know that.
I disagree, Both Jerry's are cool but I liked Colin Farrell's a little more. Chris was classier but Colin Farrell's Jerry was more intimidating, a true apex predator sociopath.
❤❤❤
Gary Oldman comes second place as sexiest vamp as Prince Vlad
My first horror movie
My dad let me watch it when I was like 9
the best
Perfect movie
❤
Fruit bats aren't bats though
It makes sense that a vampire would need some natural fiber sources to go along with the high protein blood.
Nice !
I'm so tired of the lgbt community trying to gay this movie up. It's all over the net saying (by lgbt)claiming he ate fruit because he was "fruity".
Vampiro era gey
You could say Jerry was pretty fruity. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
