The first time that I seen Pirates of the Caribbean is was shocked to find out the Johnny Depp played Willy Wonka as well as Jack Sparrow, Edward in Edward Scissorhands, and now the Mad hatter. The amount of talent that johnny has is just amazing because there are a lot of actors that only stay in one genre of movies. Johnny can be funny, scary, sad, loud, soft, he can be literally anything he wants to be and be perfect at it. I love this man.

And therein lies the problem. Making sense of the senseless.
To have it a proper Alice film, it should have been more nonsensical. Rather than some army fighting an army for supremacy, the fate of the land was decided instead by a chess match where the rules change every turn until Alice and the Queen were jousting each other on oversized Bishop pieces, or something that leaves you scratching your head.
This left me scratching my head, but not in the way it intended.

The depth of this man! I swear! He's the most incredible person and one of the truest artists walking around today. The way he researched the history behind hatters and found a way to link it to the character so what was once mad made perfect sense is truly genius!
Only the delightful Mr Depp can carry off these off the wall characters with such conviction. It's the face, the voice and the body language.

I think that when ever Johnny Depp goes into character he does it very well coz I love how he himself when he is just talking there he is nothing like the hatter but when he has to act he is the mad hatter or it doesn't have to be the hatter it can be any character he has played. Also none of Johnny Depp's characters look like him or even like each other I mean u can see Johnny Depp behind it all but none look the same jack doesn't look like Sweeney Todd, the hatter doesn't look like Edward he is a great actor

It's really amazing. I mean, you see Johnny Depp and he is laid back, calm. But the characters he plays are eccentric and almost constantly moving. The fact that he can portray an entirely different persona as if he were hiding it within him is incredible. I love every movie he's in.
