- After many months of getting suggestions for this character (at least I hope y'all meant this one and not the Disney one... oop-) I have finally put together a video covering this icon 🖤
I hope that you are all staying hydrated and being good to each other. This marks my... 66th? video? It's kind of strange how far we have come.

@@hollowwoods7130 I never said "not look perfect." There are many well-loved characters in multiple franchises who looked less than conventionally attractive, and they played their part perfectly. And people liked them! And the actors who played them are conventionally attractive under the special effects and makeup/prosthetics. But I'm also talking about how Helena Bonham Carter is also genuinely a good person, and to me and a lot of other people, that's the basis of "beautiful."

Absolute queen
I love how she accepts “Um” into her court because she’s different, most of her court “are” people with unique appearances that most would make fun of (Big ears, long noses, ex.) It’s a large difference on who she surrounds herself with compared to her sister. The White Queen surrounding herself with people who are near to perfection, even having to act a certain way around them (ex. When she’s making sure their gone when the dog comes, she runs)

@@shototodoroki6193It's more like she doesn't want to feel different so she surrounds herself with people who are just as strange as her. It's the same logic as Syndrome from the Incredibles, "and when everyone's a super, no one is", when everyone is strange, no one is.
I just ADORE how this version of the queen of hearts is more sadistic then the animated version but still a bit childish
The movie would've been better if they did this approach with every character. Make them darker, but still fun and chaotic. But they just had to give wonderland some corny depressing background of war and oppression as if they were making an emo version of Narnia.
@@victorconway444Ive never seen Narnia but imo it seemed like they tried to do Lord of The Rings but in Wonderland it that just did not work. The dragon scene feels straight up ripped off from the Smaug scene in the second Hobbit movie. Maybe its a mix of both Narnia and LOTR lol but either way it did not work.

No but actually, she was so kind as a kid. And into her adulthood she was still in love with hearts and red which are all for love. She just got betrayed by her sister over something trivial, seeing her sister choose a freaking pastry over her so she wouldn't have to be disciplined by their parents - I'd be pissy too, but hey

I don’t think it’s JUST the tarts though. I mean everyone made fun of her because her head is big. And the fact the Hatter family did not take time to properly measure her head so that her crown could fit right did not help matters. And honestly her family should’ve stood up for her when they laughed at her. How hard is it to tell everyone to get out and then calm Horacebeth down?
Also, Mad Hatter should’ve muffled his laughter but his father should not have blamed the whole debacle on him. If the father had done his job right in the first place, her parents had been more supportive, and her sister done the right thing, that whole debacle would’ve been avoided. Her parents as the rulers should have been emulating kindness and compassion to ALL, and then maybe the subjects wouldn’t have made fun of her.

One of the very few live action adaptions I've enjoyed. Probably because it isn't a one-to-one copy, but takes inspiration from the books, and Disney animation. I also love how stylized the film is. Seeing this in the movie theater as a child was genuinely enchanting.
