I studied music all the way up to and including university. My last teacher before uni used the book on the head trick with us, as she wanted us to walk with confidence and assurance to the piano in every recital, concert, and competition. She also wanted us girls to wear some kind of heel with our knee to tea length dresses as it makes the leg look better at the piano. I learned SO much more than just music from her! She had an innate elegance about her that she freely imparted along with her musical wisdom to the ten of us students. I wish everyone could have someone like her in their lives!

Wonderful video. I would also add that walking while focused on your phone doesn't look very elegant. To walk with head held high with a serene gaze and focused on the horizon wouldn't have the same refinement if your attention is on your phone and not on getting to your destination with style and grace.

How far apart should the stride be? ( 1 or 2 foot lengths?) And do you walk like you’re on a straight line? ( front foot right in front of back foot or a little space?)
When walking in heels use the
HEEL hits floor first then the BALL of the foot . 👠
