I've recently started working at a bank (I've been here a year) and I CANNOT begin to tell you how MANY elderly people come in wanting to send money to their fiance that they've never met. Genuinely this channel has helped (me) identify and stop 4 different scams (and we're a very small bank). It happens so much more often than I ever would've thought. Unfortunately there's some people that just can't be convinced no matter what happens
I know. a friend is being scammed second time in a few weeks. All the red flags waving cannot convince him he is being scammed again. He is 71 unemployed with no money and thinks a hot 54 celebrated beauty and orofessional is coming here to see him...

I never knew my grandparents, but Kit's channel is great to share with my dad's elderly neighbors, it's more memorable than just a warning. Like if we just warn people about scams, they don't know what to expect; but when we share funny videos, they can actually hear the kinds of things the scammers try to use, and when something makes you laugh, you're more likely to remember it. (That's why ads often use humor.)

And more importantly, the scammer was not able to scam a real victim during that time.

If this was on UK tv every week it would get a huge audience. We love this stuff (Facejacker/Phonejacker, Sacha Baron Cohen). This takes it to a new level and turns it into an art form of live improvisation. Outstanding.

9:59 is one of my top 10 FAVORITE Kitboga moments. Out of nowhere the scammer drops this sudden bombshell about Josh showing up to her house and murdering her, with the nonchalance of an everyday occurrence. Then without skipping a beat she lets out a horrified "Oh my god" - a way more appropriate reaction than he had.
The ripping of the gift card in front of them, is pure genius.

I really appreciate that Kit is able to keep up a positive and humorous attitude when talking to these scammers. I think even if I was earning money while talking to them I would still struggle with that because some of the things they say are just so disgusting.
