I am nearly 80 and I would like to say. We owe a debt of gratitude for all your work . Showing us what these people are really like . And why we should just hang up the phone on them !
Don't answer any unknown numbers! Let them go to voicemail. Anyone legit will leave a message. There are scams just trying to get you to pick up to see if your line is active. Then they sell that number to call centers. Some try to get you to say yes or hello but just picking up can be a success to them.

I always admire how he comes up with all the stories and ideas to waste the scammers time. If it was me, or I would have to hang up because just listening to their robotic voice and BS stories/lies would make my brain hurt, or I would be too sily and they would hang up too early. Kitboga has that certain level to make fun of them but not that much that they hang up too early. HIs AI voices and sounds effects help, of course. Still you have to be creative and also have some acting skills to pretend so the scammer thinks everything he or she hears is legit! 🤣
These scammers are literally the scum of the earth. Imagine listening to an elderly crying and in distress and STILL trying everything in your power to steal from them. I’m disgusted
I was reading an article about a call center that was raided by the New Delhi Police and in one of the audio recordings they listened to, an elderly woman had a heart attack. These people are instructed to use intimidating tactics in order to scare their victims into doing what they're told. It's so gross. Another story I read involved 2 teenagers who got wrapped up into scamming and they asked their boss what to do about an old woman who was crying and if they scammed her, she would lose her entire life savings, and their boss told him to push harder and be more aggressive. The teens decided to call the FBI after that and together, they took down the call center.
They are brainwashed into thinking that those elderly are the devil and deserve it

Yeah I saw an episode of that on Law and Order back in the day. It was when Briscoe was parsing through a call list identifying himself as "David Wilson" with a south Asian accent and a real douchbag attitude. It was a real nail biter.
It’s why I left the force. I was just on the phone all the time about gift cards. Well, and I accidentally shot a coworker, but that’s a different story.

My experience in dealing with the police from Childhood to Adulthood I have never ran into an Indian Cop with a very heavy India Accent.. I hope I don't sound racist here but I never seen and heard an Indian Born American Cop..

Ask them to put one person on from the entire office (call center) that speaks like their from the states, since that's where they say they're from.

I'm a 68 year old divorced and retired woman, so I'm a primo target for these guys. I got a call from someone doing the Amazon scam. They asked my name. I asked them what name they had on file. The guy said he had to make sure they had the right person. I said, “You called ME! Don't you know who you called?” This went on until they gave up. Next time I'll give them a fake name.

Haha nice! My dad’s about 65 and retired so I sent him a couple of these about a month ago to make sure he doesn’t get scammed because you never know! It’s sad how they target people and try to take their hard earned money.

I work in a grocery store that sells gift cards from many different stores. When i see elderly shopping for gift cards, i make it a point to be nosey and ask what they are buying the cards for. I caught 5 scammers. Once a woman was on her phone at the gift card display and overheard her saying "i don't want you to lose your job", I interrupted and asked to speak to them on the phone. I issued a VERY graphic explanation that the call was being traced and don't call again! I explained what was happening to the lady. She had NO idea.
Great job protecting people from this scumbag scam. Keep up the great work! You are doing an amazing service for those around you

@@3_up_moon My favourite was when he dropped in some lines from a Linkin Park song and the scammer LAUGHED about it but didn't clue in that he was getting jerked around. One of my favourite things about these is that there are LOTS of clues that the scammers are getting taken for a ride(like the blatantly fake bank pages), and if they miss all those red flags, they absolutely deserve to have all their time wasted.

He wasn’t on with the scammers for 6 hours and 40 minutes. The clocked restarted. He was on with them for 2 hours and 42 minutes and then another 6 hours and 40 minutes. For a combined total of 9 hours and 22 minutes. And the scammers walked away with zero.

Oh it's so great when you spend the time to truly fuck with these scum. The whole "I will lose my job for giving you back too much money," scam is best when you tell them no. Like, they want to guilt you into sending money because they made a mistake, so when it got to that point for me I just told them tough shit, I'm going to buy some spinning rims for my ride. They actually were trying to call me back over their BS caller ID lines, first pleading, then threatening, and of course they finally quit when I just said I knew they were bullshit and had fun toying with them for 37 minutes.

There is a scambaiter who is an older woman. Sometimes it's too difficult for me to listen how vulnerable she sounds while scambaiting and how devious and nasty the scammers treat her. I'm way behind in her videos for that reason. It's always comforting when she speak in her normal strong voice.

When the scammer kept yelling, "Are you mad?!" I hoped Kit would answer, "No, but it sounds like you are!!" or "Not yet, but you're driving me there!!" I laugh so hard at all their frustration with Kit, but also pray they never call and verbally abuse my elderly dad. He's fallen for a couple scams, so I've told him to call me if someone tries to get money from him again. I see I need to tell him about the gift card scams. Thank you Kit, for educating us!

He is so good at that fake crying while also holding back his laughter. It’s interesting that every scammer has the same reaction to him crying. 99% of the time they beg him to stop as if they can’t stand outward emotion.
Tbh in my experience that's just how men react to a woman crying usually.
@@PosthumanHeresy I should have been more clear about what I meant. I would say 98% of scammers beg him to stop crying in a very cold, demeaning and demanding way. Sometimes they even yell at Kit to stop crying. There is no empathy, no compassion and often there is anger in their voice when they order him to stop crying.
For experienced scammers, I get it. They don’t care, they have lost the ability to see the people they speak with on the phone as humans and only want the money or the gift cards. However, he has had scammers that were clearly new at this and they still react to Kit crying in the same way. Even the few women scammers he has encountered react just as coldly. Regardless if Kit plays a woman or a man, the reaction is basically the same.
I just find their reaction to someone crying interesting. I don’t know if there is a cultural component to that. It could be a gender thing too, like you mentioned. I hadn’t thought about that and that’s a good point. Kit does tend to play his older woman persona more than his other characters and he mostly interacts with male scammers.
I’m an adult female and just as an example, when I cry and in front of my dad he immediately wants to figure out how to fix the problem. I have a lot of medical issues and sometimes I just break down because it’s hard. There is nothing to fix. Yet he tries so hard to figure out something he can do. I think that’s how most men are.
Sorry for the long response. I’m just trying to wrap my mind around how a human can be so harsh and cold when dealing with someone they perceive as an elderly person having a breakdown. It boggles my mind so I’m trying to understand it.

My father and my mother are the same way. They don’t know how to react to people crying. I always just stand there with a blank stare if someone cries in front of me. I also, personally hate PDA (that includes hugging and holding hands).

They're working overtime right now. We've been receiving multiple calls on our landline, cellphones and text messages...all scams. We keep getting 'Air duct cleaning' calls too. Don't know what their angle is, just that they're so annoying!
I keep My mobile off because of the daily scam calls, there always Indian for some reason. I dont mean to judge an entire nation but these scammers are all Indian.
the air duct scam calls around me have been scary! someone in my city reported on our neighborhood group thing on facebook that she had scheduled a cleaning from a call she got from a duct cleaning company because she figured ‘why not’ since she hadn’t had that done in a while, and they figured out when nobody would be home because she said she lives with her 3 kids & said she would be working every week day. they came inside and robbed her when she wasn’t home & she came back to everything gone the day after the appointment. she said she had realized they were snooping around, whispering, and kept asking questions about how expensive certain items were in her home. she was robbed out of over $10,000 worth of stuff, like her tv’s, expensive jewelry & clothes, kids toys, etc! it was so bad. please STAY SAFE! people are nuts these days.

Man, they tried to hit my grandma the other day with the grandparents scam, called pretending to be my little brother saying he was in jail and stuff. Shit was super convincing, even said he'd gotten in a wreck and broken his nose so she didn't question that he sounded a little off. But luckily I've seen enough of your videos and heard about enough of this stuff to pick up on it and give her the warning before she ended up giving them money. Thanks for doing what you do man, hopefully one day we can shut down all this garbage.

Yeah every couple years I get voicemails saying I have a few arrest warrants. And I have gotten those Microsoft hacker calls too awhile ago. They are annoying. I laugh and tell them I do not have a computer.

Nah, there was one that was very evil. The scammer said he had a gun and was at the door and he was going to kill the old lady and her family. Kit broke character and gave him the business. You can see how disgusted Kit was
