She called the UPS driver for the area Mother ****er. I used asterisks so I wouldn't offend anyone. Stacy is not a people person. Offended people close their Citizens Bank account and use a different bank.
I also know what it’s like to have my bank get frustrated with me and take all my money. They call it “non-sufficient funds fee” but I know it’s just them trying to make it sound professional.

The fact that the words "I will abuse you" come fluidly out of his filthy mouth without ANY remorse, you can conclude that he's said this to legitimate elderly victims - also not being phased by the crying and distress of an old lady as if it's just "another day at the office" to them, makes me honestly sick. I can't thank you enough for what you do Kit and the potential victims that you've unknowingly saved, you're truly doing amazing work!
I tell them what I would do and offer everything in person to meet up. Asking for mailing addresses and everything.
My sister just got a call from one of these guys and I stopped her mid call after they were in control of her computer is her phone safe? She just Master reset her computer ( it's backed up)

I don't feel bad for the scammers but I worry about their wives, I know it's sexist because women can be abusive too but I worry about the male scammers getting so angry. It's triggering I guess, I grew up in a house where DV was happening so I was always aware of how angry my dad was at all times. But this is not a reason to stop baiting these scumbags, it's their fault that they behave like that.
@@kategould4857 The scammers get paid either way because the entire company makes millions (and they make a somewhat "Livable" wage for their country so I don't think losing a scam would cause them to go cause DV unless they were already an abuser, which I hear communities there don't take kindly to shit like that (there's numerous stories of men who either SA'd someone/a child and the community went together to send a message by cutting off parts of them and I remember 2 where DV occurred and they got beat to near death).

I work as a fraud investigator for a bank here in the UK and I watch these on shift. It makes me so happy, I talk to so many victims of these scams. I often recommend this channel to cheer them up 😂

I lead a neighborhood watch in my community and I talk to a lot of people who get these calls and post about it. 100's of people have been helped avoiding scams online and on Nextdoor, too. I lead them here too, the best education anyone can buy seeing how it all works and be entertaining.

@@noire1001 yeah it happens, the majority of people don’t have 100k to lose though, so it’s not every victim, but people do loose a lot of money and for some people loosing at least 3k or even £500 is enough to ruin them, just depends how much people have, people lose pensions and life savings, luckily we have a fraud refund policy so we can recover the funds

I work in financial fraud prevention and I've been the person talking to the sweet crying elderly lady trying to get her money back from scammers. Kit's acting is impeccable to the point where hearing him fake cry makes my throat tight. People like this scammer are absolute scumbags and I am infinitely joyful to hear Kit consistently wasting their time. Rooting for all of them to loose internet access forever 🙏

I'd say that he didn't start off like this. With time, he began to think of the victims on the phone as non human. He gets disconnected enough to not care about how he talks to others. Dehumanizing his victims to the point where he blatantly calls them profanities. It's like some people talk to their pets.

This scammer's behavior is a prime example of why scam calls are so dangerous to certain populations, especially the elderly. It's abysmal to hear someone carelessly threaten and blackmail someone, especially someone they believe to be an old lady. It could've been anyone's grandma.

Other than swear words and "sir" or "ma'am" what would they call them? Their name is the only other option that comes to mind, but that probably doesn't come naturally when they're under so much stress.

A real good con job doesn't involve insulting your mark or making them question your process. It should go smoothly until the money goal is obtained. This scammer was really bad at the con job, lost it all. and wasn't smart enough to know he was being conned into giving up his time.

Another comment already said this, but I'll repeat it: These people, for the most part, are still people. They know what they're doing is morally wrong. However, they continue, because it's extremely well paying compared to most of the jobs available there, and corruption spreads beyond just keeping you away from that particular law. Their brains desensitize scamming people, and clearly this person has been doing it for a while and doesn't give a FUCK. After a while, you don't see something wrong as something wrong, you just see it as a part of life, which is how most people doing morally bad things roll with it. The difference between an insane person doing something morally wrong and a sane person doing something morally wrong is that an insane person either has zero emotion towards the subject or finds some twisted way to justify doing what they're doing, while a mentally sane person does as described above. They're still heartless bastards, but it gets a whole lot sadder when you realize that they still have emotions, just they're so numb to the feeling of guilt that they don't even see their victims as people at some point, and (as seen by this guy) that bleeds into their everyday lives, which definitely wasn't what they were thinking when they signed up for their scam center, so to speak.
If he was truly, fully evil, he wouldn't have said that. he would have gone for efficiency or gone full out with abusing this woman as much as he could. Instead, he just didn't fucking care anymore, and he didn't see or feel enough emotion or empathy to care about this person on the other end, which he likely only saw as a client at this point. Once again, I'm not defending them, I'm pointing out that they are so numbed by guilt and the need for money, for survival, that they don't see anything but a number and a client to extort on the other line of the phone, and as seen by this person, to the point that they can hear what they think is an old woman crying in mental anguish, and only care about furthering the scam.

Thruth be told, this very likely rarely happens to this extent. If at all. Kit intentionally draws the reactions out to frustrate the scammers, as most elderly people would hang up at some point before it got this bad. Either way, it's hilarious to see just how rotten these scammers can actually be when the opportunity arises.

I caught a home health aide going off on my dad who had Alzheimers. She said such horrible things. I think she snapped. He was frustrating, Ill admit but he could hardly move. It may be easy to spot logical flaws from the outside but its a whole different story for a person being in emotional distress.

I think that’s what makes it so funny later on when he starts babbling, though. As he is a predator the presentation of the panicking old lady bypasses his empathy circuits and goes straight to the “I’m in power” part of his brain, leading to his commands to “be quiet” which of course our hero tramples over. The scammer can’t let that feeling/illusion of power go even though deep down they have nothing until they actually have her money, so the cognitive dissonance tears them apart at the seams while we watch.
