But that IS Kitboga's job. He's getting paid by his viewers here and on twitch. And there are many more like him, posting scambaiting videos to RUclips, and other places. So it might not be the payment model you're thinking of, but it is happening.

@@NordicNerdGirl I don't disagree with you, but scambaiting might be bigger we realize already, as a hobby. I'm aware of dozens of scambaiting forums already where people post scambaiting logs.
I think this monetary model is about perfect already. We get a few good examples of great scambaiters who are good enough to get paid for the spectacle, and gets it enough visibility for millions to see and decide they'd love to fuck with scammers as well.
I think turning scambaiting into an industry beyond what it is already would be counterproductive. As soon as someone has to interview for the position, instead of doing it because they're enjoying being an asshole to even worse assholes, you get the office drone who is looking at the time and saying, okay, 5 more minutes of leading this scammer around before I can get back to my family.
Tl:Dr Scambaiting is best as a hobbyist pasttime with highvisibility.

Not to mention people who are observant and empathetic can usually tell what a person is feeling through observing and listening to the person. If a person's voice is flat and sounds monotone, they are often lying.

These guys nearly got my 93 year old dad. He asked me to help him make a copy of his license and that's how I learned he was on the phone with these scammers. Your videos are epic! Thank you so much. My parents are from India and I have no problem saying it is an extraordinarily superstitious country as a whole, it's a third world country where most people are starved of both food, education and healthy living spaces. Whoever says it's a beautiful country hasn't seen the part of the country that is inhabited by people, only pretty fliers and colourful videos of nature.

It's a very interesting dilemma because they can't say no to free money but it's still very weird that they accept a lower ammount than they "mistakenly" sent to the victim so it's a paradox sort of.

Ok this was awesome. I’m 72 and no fool. Ran into a man a little younger than me a he grocery store. He had some kind of gift card for 200 and he was on the phone with them giving the info. Of course I but in and even got the mangier over had store to speak to the man. He had already given the numbers to he card. Hopefully he will never do that again. And yes they immediately hung up. God Bless you. You should do something to help seniors understand a little better. How these scam work.

I just wanted to say thanks for your channel . I get so many scam calls a day. I used to think omg can this be true? I am a 60 year old woman I know family members that gave out their social security number! I have been called about being arrested at least 20 times but now I know not true! I try to tell everyone I know about you. Good job Kit.
