    Tip about lemon water - fill an ice tray with squeezed lemon juice, store in freezer and every morning put one lemon juice ice cube into your water - no need to worry about squeezing lemon every morning

    I love praying first thing in the morning. It really makes my day so Much better. Being with God, thanking Him for all, meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary is a great opportunity for me to grow in Joy 🌺

    I work out pretty much every single morning and its LIFE CHANGING! I completely believe your morning routine can DETERMINE how productive your day will be. I have always been an early bird but in 2020 I started to wake up at 4AM and it has revolutionized the type of work I am able to produce. I HIGHLY suggest you make it a priority to wake up early. Just try it for 2 weeks...I promise you will come to love the results!💕

    Once many years ago, I wrote a thank you letter (longer than a note) to a young man I had dated the previous evening. Because of that letter, he asked me on a second date and a third --- well, it led to meeting his parents. Fast forward a few weeks and this one letter led to a proposal. We were married for 32 years before he passed away due to kidney failure and diabetes. Fortunately, we had a son and a daughter whom I can now enjoy in spite of being without him. So, when we say, "The pen is mightier than the sword". . . this was a mighty pen. And what a life changer!

    I love this! I always tell people who ask me how I created mine that I focused on 3 things: *body, mind, spirit* .
    What do YOU need in each category to not just set yourself up for a great day, but also plant seeds for where you want to be 1, 3, 5, 10 years from now? (Body = self-care, skin-care, exercise, etc. Mind = mindset work, learning new skills, reading, etc. Spirit = meditation, gratitude, breathing, spiritual practices, etc.)

    1. Wake up
    2. Brush my teeth and tongue
    3. wash my face and moisturize it (BHA Serum, daycream and SPF)
    4. make a greek juice (cellery, green apple and lemons - sometimes also ginger)
    5. take omega 3's
    6. share green juice with my love :)
    7. clean my juicer
    8. make some yoga/stretching
    9. dress up
    10. make coffe and start working (sipping on a huge jar of water) :D

    Hi Amy, I start each morning by reading a chapter of my Bible and then a page from Joyce Meyer's Daily Devotional book. They both always set my day off right :)

    It took me a long time to become more of a morning person, but now that I am I love it. It feels so much better starting my day in a mindful, self-aware state. I love journaling, reading, and working out first thing in the morning! I tend to plan my day out the night before so I’m not thinking of a million things before going to sleep. love all of your ideas!

      Had to pause the video at 3 minutes to say that I do the gratefulness reflection before I go to bed instead! Makes me happy for the things I finished and the people I saw and gives me so much relaxation in going to bed. So instead of a morning routine, it's part of my evening routine. (now back to the vid!)

    Hey Amy ! In the morning, I love petting my dog also, like laying on the ground and play with him. I also like to clean my Kitchen so that everything is Perfect when I have to leave for work

    I pray in the morning as my first conscious thought. Then, ideally, I do my exercise video and my shower. My shower includes skin care of putting on lotion due to my dry skin. Once I take care of my inside and outside, then the house comes next (dishes, clutter, and laundry). If you don't know what to write, write a memory about your first date with your spouse, your first Christmas together, special days with aunts, uncles or grandparents. The biggest excuse is " no one wants to read my stories". Well, they will the day after you're gone. So, start writing today.

    My first morning routine is praying,its one of the best thing that was like meditation for me. after that do same workout following in youtube, then hydrate then study english language.

    Also, yesss to GRATITUDE & READING! 😍 Gratitude is one of those things I always turn to when I find myself being really negative because it absolutely always turns it around even if my circumstances haven’t changed. And reading is something I’ve loved a long time but was in a huge reading slump until I found the wonderful thing that is #booktube!! 😍

    Thank you Amy. I like waking up in the morning because I feel happier and ready to go for the rest of the day but the thing is when I wake up early I always am like, "now what?" And then go back to sleep. I need TRUE motivation

    Make blueberry or fruits parfaits the night before. It's fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal. It makes me feel prepared and it keeps me full for a long while.

    I LOVE this! Maybe because I’ve been incorporating some of these things into my life already. I’m obsessed with notebooks and writing things down all of the sudden! I started learning Spanish in January! I have really limited social media for the last 8 months or so. I notice it is not productive for me, it’s like a deep mud hole that I sink into and find it hard to crawl out of. When I cut it out of my mornings, my days began to start off so much better!! I rarely check it anymore and I have so much more peace that way 😌. Again, love this video, it was so refreshing to see some new suggestions. Can’t wait to start applying them! 😊

      Waking up early is such a life hack! It may stink for the first week but just try waking up early for 2 weeks... you’ll love the results and the amount of productivity you can accomplish💕

      I just can't find an alarm I don't hate. I'd love to put my phone on charge downstairs and not touch it until after I'm dressed with teeth brushed etc. But anything but my wake up playlist puts me in a foul mood.

    I am 71 with A-Fib. I wear a watch that tracks everything. I synch w my phone, then write them down (steps, O2 & BP while sleeping, hi & low BP for previous day, etc. etc.) in my planner. Then I have coffee & walk around inside, then wash my face.

    How long is your morning routine usually?
    I try to get up, drink a glass of water, walk on the treadmill at least 15 minutes (I do a more significant workout later) then I utilize Rachel Hollis's Start Today Journal for gratitude, intentional goal setting and review daily. Then I plan my day and go get ready!

Interesting how you have a very grounded and organic way about you but there's also the very feminine aspect of your presentation.     What do you use (apps, your common place book, etc.) for gathering & then processing ideas? I often list things in my “notes” folder on my phone, but I seldom revisit unless I need to look for some specifically. There has to be a more productive system.

    Haaay Amy! It's evening in the Netherlands right now, which is perfect because this video will create all these ideas for tomorrow morning to start my improved morning routine with. Normally I'm writing in my diary with some music on, and then make a small list of stuff I really want to get done. And then with some swingy dance music a shower to get all the energy going! But let's see what your video can add to that 😁♥️

    What are your thoughts about driving straight to the beach soon as you finish working out in the morning (5AM or so)
    to enjoy the wild life a little bit, get a chance to be outside at the sunrise and maybe even swimming for a while

    My day looks like this:
    - wake up
    - drink water, pee, brush my teath, pop my medicine
    - feed the cats
    - put on some music or a youtube video or a podcast or a ted talk and do skincare and make up while dancing around or learning something, also dress according to the whether
    - grad a snack or a smoothie
    - commute to work and listen to music or practice a language on duolingo or read a scientific paper for work
    - at work I look at the plan that i made yesterday and reevaluate and maybe adjust it
    - work in the most efficient and effective way. think before you work! it reduces your hours and you don’t get lost in the work and being busy.
    - at the end of the work day, evaluate the progress and plan the next day
    - come home to a healthy meal
    - do some chores or relax
    - workout when my stomach isn’t that full anymore
    - relax some, prepare things for the next day
    - journal, cuddle cats and boyfriend, talk, get ready for bed, no more screens
    I also practice calendar blocking RELIGIOUSLY! It’s amazing because I have scheduled in my workouts, my to dos (!!!) and my bedtime rountine/sleep! I usually get 8-8,5h of sleep with this method and it’s awesome!!! I wake up refreshed, sometimes I wake up before my alarm. So good!

      I don’t have time to do all of those things in the morning and I already wake up at 5:30am. I can’t always go to bed at the same time every night because I volunteer some evenings. I usually have coffee, journal, have breakfast and get ready for work. I’ve tried waking up earlier but I’m falling asleep at 7pm the nights I volunteer, if it’s a night I don’t volunteer then I can go to bed earlier.
