I really hope to get this camera soon. I've been working with a Canon Rebel T5 for 4 years. I can get pretty sharp photos with it, but as I've gotten better, I feel like I limited myself and need something better.

Hi. It's 2021, five years after this vid. Is the 80D still a good camera? I see them on eBay for as low as $500.
As a user myself, if you aren’t bothered by its limitations such as not having 4K, slow mo with 1080p, in-body stabilisation, and having a heavier body compared to its mirrorless competitors, it’s a really good deal, especially with that $500 price.

So I am upgrading from a PowerShot point and shoot camera to a DSLR. I was converted to
the Canon 80D, but someone told me to check out the new EOS RP. I am into Architecture
but do small wedding/graduation ceremonies. I also love taking it hiking to do landscape,
wildlife, and macro photography. Which camera would you recommend? Which is more sustainable with a low budget?

Just got my 80d out of the box and the viewfinder and screen is blurry. I’ve tried changing the setting & the diaopter dial thing & everything is still blurry. Is there a way to fix this. Shouldn’t happen with a brand new camera
Hi Jerad - very specific question for you! On your 80D, do you ever find changing aperture/shutter speed quite laggy when the metering is active after a shutter half press? I just bought an almost new one on ebay which arrived the other day, and it's lagging when changing settings whilst metering, but curiously, not lagging if the meter isn't active - I've made a really short video showing the problem against my 70D which works perfectly ruclips.net/video/a2VgUGO243k/видео.html
I'd really like to know if other 80Ds have this issue, and if so I might return this one and hold off til the 90D instead of trying to buy another one.
