As a recovering addict myself, watching Nick w Honor is such a joy! It's those little moments in life you give up in addiction, and I'm so grateful Nick gets to do it clean and free! ❤
I’m a pet sitter and that note is so familiar lol I LOVE it when people are super detailed, it shows how much you love your pets and it’s super helpful
Second pet sitter chiming in to agree that the detailed notes are vital! Also I want to pet sit for Julia with all of the thoughtfulness and hospitality she gives!
Julia, I feel like I’ve been on a long journey with you. I remember how you were so brave to swim in the deep ocean and conquer your fear. You’re such a humble example of doing anything you put your mind too. You’re a natural mummy and one of the special humans I hold in high regard. Thank you for the lessons you continue to teach us all. Your integrity, grace and humour are wonderful gifts to pass on to darling Honor. Sending you all love from the English Julia ❤
It just hit me that you're staying at your sister's!!! I'm so happy you two have reconnected. You did talk about it but actually going there and staying there is such a huge step. I hope you had a great time together. Love and light x
Wow you are the most organized traveler! I love the notes you left for the house sitter and leaving all the food and meds in one place with it. I am going to steal this idea for my lovebirds. And I love how you set up the spare room with the basket and all the extras, so thoughtful. Amazing how you are able to take all this in stride and be so organized and calm with your adorable little one. I think she has your eyes btw. Can’t wait for updates 💕
I really get emotional when I see other in recovery with their kids or just living life. I was addicted to heroin for many years, and I got clean after finding out I was having a baby girl. Actually, both my husband and I did and we're raising our baby(she's now 5) together clean I say this to say it's great that Nick is doing so well and being a great Dad!
I love how you say that you come up with jokes in your head and then add "they're really funny" and when nick goes "really?" you say "mmhm" smiling. Love to see that kind of passion and confidence towards hobbies or things people want to do ❤️
I have really, really been enjoying your vlogs lately! Honor is so cute, and you and Nick's conversations are always so funny! Also now I am totally craving rice crispies cereal!!
Thank you for sharing little pieces of your life with us, Honor is adorable I love to see you two interact! If you feel comfortable sharing, how has your relationship changed/grown with Nick after having a baby? Pros and cons, ups and downs of it all? Would love to hear your experience navigating parenthood together. Love you and your vids.
You probably already know this; but she is truly the most beautiful little nugget I’m so glad that nursing on take off and decent helped! Thanks for sharing your sweet Honor with us. We are undeserving ❤
My baby is a toddler and I still sit next to them HAHAHAH so don’t even worry about it 😂❤️ you’re a great mama, not that you need to hear it from others but as a fellow mom, it’s nice to hear sometimes 😊
Julia, I am so excited for you to be back in the DMV (I am also from an area outside of dc) and I can completely empathize with wanting to be around family the older I have gotten. It’s the best thing in the world being able to go back to the east coast and be close to family. Much love for you ❤
Thanks for this glimpse into your life. Honor is amazing and you always make me laugh! You could totally be a stand-up comedian, your dry humor and timing are impeccable. Love from Northern Cali, xoxo Kelsey
Hi Julia! I'm glad you all got back home safe and all is well. I'm not sure if you have done it but an idea for a full video would be a review of all the baby items you got for Honor. Things like stroller, bottles, favourite outfits for her, toys and etc. I love that diaper bag. I have no plans of having kids anytime soon but I want that bag lol :)
julia you are so kind and thoughtful! always love watching your videos. you look beautiful as always but so gorgeous with the dark hair! baby honor has your eyes and other features ❤
Thank you so much for sharing! I enjoy watching ur vlogs so much, you are such a sweet soul and beautiful mama! ( and somebody owning 4 cats must be awesome ❤). Hope you have the best of lifes and when it gets hard remember there are a lot of people who really appreciate you, even though u don’t know us personally ❤
You’re right, when we’re young we can’t wait to get away. I moved from living in a city to the countryside just over a year ago in the U.K. and let me tell you, I get homesick all the time as well. I’m glad your journey went well and I loved all the info for the cats 😂 I would have done that too ❤ have an amazing time back home. xx
Omg, when y’all mentioned your characteristic of being stubborn to let go when you want something, but giving up when you fail.. I felt so seen! It may sounds a bit weird to some, but it makes total sense to those who have this problem. It’s a bliss and a curse, I always feel very empowered by how strong I can be when I really want something! But then as soon as things do go my way, it’s hard to find motivation to keep going, which I can’t find a resolution for. If you have any tips for how you deal with these moments, if anyone has any tips how to deal with this, don’t be shy to share! ❤️
So glad the flight went well with baby Honor. Traveling as an adult is already stressful so 👏🏼 to all 3 of you for making it through. I moved to Indiana a couple of years ago and am missing the comforts of my home state, Virginia. I thought it would get easier over time but it hasn't. I tend to compare every city I live in, to the highlights of my hometown. 😮💨 What are the things you miss the most about your hometown?
I had the worst case of being homesick living in L.A., and I returned back to the Northeast. Now for years I regret having returned because I miss L.A. too. I have to realize my home is the Northeast and my family remains here and close by. I am so happy for you guys to be together with family again. Enjoy!!
I took my first international flight when my son was a year and 1 day old and I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter. The airports were crazy, Kennedy and Munich especially, but the people were amazing. I'm so happy you made it safe and it was a great flight. Enjoy your family. I'm 55 now and for me, family is everything! I can't stand being away from my children and grandchildren!
I totally agree and think about it often, how when we are young we can’t wait to move away and be on our own. Then when we’re older, we just want to be close with family and I too personally get homesick all the time.
The amount of work u are putting in these videos is sooo appreciated . Love you and thanks a lot You are the favorite person always and forever and dearest to heart🍡🍓🍧🎉🥰🥰💖♥️❤️❤️🌙🫂❤❤❤
so glad all went well love the scene with nick and the apple she's so cute she wanted some too lol i find so many times in my life probably my WHOLE life i worry and worry and what ive made myself worry sick over never happens enjoy your stay with your family im sure they are thrilled to have you there and miss you just as much
I'm in Columbia, MD, like 25 min from Baltimore! So crazy to think I've been watching you all these years and you're in our neck of the woods/home. Hope you're enjoying the Cherry Blossoms and pollen!
You are like my daughters twin when it comes to preparations 😆The baby grew so fast wow. Beautiful family! Have a fun stay in DC ❤ We were just in DC for the Cherry Blossom festival. It was Beautiful 😍
Awwww loved this video!!! I so so so so wish I had family I could be close with now that I am older, but alas, I do not. But I understand what you mean. Can’t wait for the next video!!! Xoxoxox
I'm so happy the flight went well. I've been checking here and insta, waiting to hear how it went. I was also going to ask if you still had that property, because I remember when you bought it, but then you didn't say anything about it after that; I'm happy you still have it! How have you and Honor been adjusting to the time difference and how was Easter? I can't wait till the next video and seeing what you have been up to while visiting! Enjoy being back here on the East Coast!
The need to be close to family after having babies is REAL! We're only 3 hours from our hometown and we talk about moving back all the time. Glad you're getting some good family time.
My boy is almost 13 months and I still sit right beside him. It’s okay! 😂 He has sensory issues and is stressed when we leave and meet new people, so I feel like I have to reassure him the whole time. 😅
I definitely feel you on the family part. My family and I weren’t close until I moved out and got married, now I’m trying to find a duplex so they can live next to us.
Please, if you do an ASMR video soon, burn and blow sage and lavender lime you did in a hipnosis video long ago. Literally the best asmr trigger I've ever heard. Also, I'm so glad you're doing so well. Lots of love from Colombia ❤
Hi! This video is super helpful because I have an 8 month old and will be needing to fly soon from the south to visit family in PA/NY, and I have so many questions! Did you fly with a car seat or did you check it? Did you check any luggage or were you able to carry everything yourself? (I’ll be flying solo with my baby so I’m wondering how I can manage everything and looking for ways to streamline baby’s things and my things). Also, did you fly with her on your lap or did you buy her a dedicated seat? I was thinking of having my little one sit with my on my lap since he gets very anxious being confined to the car seat for long stretches, but I’m super nervous seeing in the news the increase of severe plane turbulence that’s been happening. Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻 Thanks in advance and I love your content! 😊
I sat next to my son in the back until my daughter was born! (Son was 3 1/2 when she was born, just for reference.) It's the best thing in the world to watch them!
I flew many times before 9/11 but, I've not been on a plane since. I am afraid of flying and in the 12 times that I did fly only one flight was a good one. Bad turbulence, lighting hit a wing on one flight, hit a sheer drop on one flight (that was my last flight as well) and everyone was scared on the plane. Then on another flight I had a mentally ill person pounding his fist into the seat between us and yelling at someone in that seat ( the seat was vacant) after paging 2 times they finally moved him. So, if I have to travel then I drive, if I can't drive then I won't go. Lol If I do ever have to fly again I will be sedated . You are both great parents, that is very evident. Honor is such an adorable happy baby. I make lists for everything ; groceries, cleaning , gardening and especially travel. So you're not alone in making lists. Cherish your family time . Both my parents , grand parents and aunts and uncles are gone now but my memories of them all are always with me.
Lol I feel the car situation hard. I have 4 kids, 3 of which are in car seats and my youngest is 1 and still rear facing of course and in the safest position of course, in the third row in the middle. I get car sick and panic attacks in the back of cars and have suffered either sitting in the back with him when he was younger or suffering sitting in the front listening to him crying. 🤣
i’ve been following you for years, julia, and live just north of baltimore. i’d love to run into you in real life and have some snack plates and a hot tea lol. welcome back home and i not only love your asmr but also your nick and honor content!!
omg - a house sitter?? I'd probably go nuts straight away unable to resist the temptation to locate all the places you filmed asmr and start reenacting them for a little whiff of that peace & serenity 🌿😂 and the cats of course 🐾😻
I was still sitting next to my daughter at that age on longer trips (more than 30 minutes). I couldn't stand not being able to see her face, even though the next thing I couldn't quite stand was that dang middle hump seat!
Your “okay cool” when Nick says he isn’t nervous for the flight is me in all situations
lol 🆘🛟

The amount of cuteness that little Honor has is unfair to all the babies in the world ☺️💕
Your bond with her is so sweet to see, love that work is slow so I can watch the new vid hehe

Fake eating and fake drinking are her specialties right now 😆❤️

Julia with black hair is an aesthetic in its own right 👑
Love when you share these moments with us!!! Also, I love that shade of hair color! Which one did you use?
Garnier soft black! I like their darker black shades as well. I did miss many spots this time around but usually Garnier does the trick ❤️ thank you!
Props to you for coloring your hair with a 6 mo. It’s taken me 18 mo post to allow myself. What a Queen 🤘
I’m the same way with my pets when we go away. You have to if there is more than just feeding & litter boxes. 😊
Aww so sweet watching him with honor❤

Her lil hand at 6:45, she’s the cutest ❤
I do the same thing with my Cats when I go away. Literal pages of instructions for my poor sitter.
Honor is so cute! I see both you and Nick in her. It's so cute ♥
I wonder what Honor will think when she sees these videos in the future... that would be so cool!
born/raised/still living in Baltimore. welcome back to the DMV area!
Bless 🙏🏻 ❤ thank you!
Dill pickle chips are my favorite
I was right about where y'all were going!!!
Oh my Honor was so adorable with the apple 😍
Where does she get those dark(wave) grey/blue sky eyes from!? So so cute, melts my heart. I love how simple and real your filming is.. taking notes !!
My mom, sister, and grandma all have blue/grey eyes! We'll see what happens, maybe she got the gene!
Honor going for the apple was too cute omg
The dinosaur wallpaper looks so good!!!
Thank you 😀😀😀😀😀 can’t wait to complete that bathroom

You and Nick make beautiful Wonderful parents❤
This is a beautiful video 😊
I totally do the exact same with my cats! I think we must be fellow crazy cat ladies!
Another great catchup ❤
i’ve been following you for years, julia, and live just north of baltimore. i’d love to run into you in real life and have some snack plates and a hot tea lol. welcome back home and i not only love your asmr but also your nick and honor content!!
Snack plates & tea are my strong points!! Thank you and thanks for being here ❤❤❤
Did you take pics of the kitties and label them? Or how does the sitter know who is who?
Missed you ♥️
omg - a house sitter?? I'd probably go nuts straight away unable to resist the temptation to locate all the places you filmed asmr and start reenacting them for a little whiff of that peace & serenity 🌿😂 and the cats of course 🐾😻
Very cool video itsblitzzz
I sat in the back with my first as well ❤ now I have 5 and there’s no room for me 😂
I was still sitting next to my daughter at that age on longer trips (more than 30 minutes). I couldn't stand not being able to see her face, even though the next thing I couldn't quite stand was that dang middle hump seat!
hi from dc
You're literally the coolest chic ever
It never fails... as soon as you sit down to eat, tuey want to eat too 😂
