@@craftycandypandas7199 I’ve frequently heard “my baby” used a lot (at least in my personal experience). This was the first time I had noticed “our” used, and it was really refreshing for me. Glad to hear it seems commonplace for others!

When I first heard of your pregnancy journey I was also on my own - frozen embryo transfer 3 years after a breast cancer diagnoses. I’m 13 weeks and 4 days with a baby boy now, at work, only 3 seconds into this video and seeing your daughter’s sweet face made me have to comment ❤ she is perfect

My husband and I did not plan on having children, and then- oops 😬
I was 33. He was 42. We said- let’s have it. I did not expect the love that came with it. I reached out to my mother ( we were never close) and said “I can’t believe you ever loved me this much” She said “I still do”
15 years later and my daughter is the most amazing blessing. Changed not only out lives, but how we view the world, and our relationships.

Surprise babies are the best, I think! My husband is 49, I'm 45. We're 36 weeks pregnant-a total surprise. We have 6 children. Our oldest being 23, youngest 15. Everyone is super excited!

Huge congratulations to you on your baby girl!!! My baby had IUGR too and I swear she nursed about 16 hrs per day many days in the early months. NO JOKE! Those babes know exactly what they need. You are doing a wonderful job, sweetheart ❤❤❤

I’m crying ❤️ I had such a similar experience as you - C-section, nothing went as planned, etc… and you speak of the LOVE, ugh it’s SO wonderful and deep. My daughter is almost a year old now and watching this took me back… I really appreciate it, because it brought up so many feelings. I’m fully crying 😅😅

Hey Julia! I had such a similar experience with my c-section! You made the right call by not getting induced, I got induced and was in labor 28 hours before they decided I needed a c-section and that part of it was rough. I also had that nausea for like 12+ hours after surgery so I feel your pain. So happy she’s here and so excited to watch you guys on your journey! 🤍🤍

Hi Julia! I am so happy that you are finally a mom. During all these years your voice has made me company during work (listening to your ASMR). I had a spontanous twin pregnancy and the birth was induced, then after the first was born, the second one came with an urgent c-section, I had a traumatic birth, and it has been challenging to recover from that pain. I am so happy that you chose not to have an induction and you went straight to the c-section. I will follow your jorney as mom. Good luck :-)

When I got an epidural for my daughter's birth I was also numb from the chest down and worried it would go to my neck and I wasn't gonna be able to breathe! Weirdest feeling ever. So glad everything worked out for you and your beautiful daughter is healthy!
Well done Mom and Dad. She’s lovely. I had both my babies via C-section and early on I felt a bit slighted but make no mistake, the process is still it’s own form of laboring. And you are correct…I instantly felt bonded with both my babies, they knew me and I knew them in my soul. It was glorious ❤. It’s hard to believe that the experiences were 18 and 15 years ago for me…it seems like yesterday. Can’t wait to see Honor grow.

Nick’s natural way holding the baby so lovely! I criedLike a baby when I knew I had to have a C-section, then with my second one I was like, “let’s put it on the calendar C-section round two, sign me up!!” Not minimizing the hard stuff that goes along with it for many people! Beautiful people with a beautiful baby!

I love her name! It's also my middle name, so I'm biased. It's a name that's been in my family for generations. I'm of Irish heritage so I love Irish names but some of them have tough spellings and pronunciations. This was something I had to keep in mind when naming my own daughter. Congratulations, Julia and Nick. Your gal is gorgeous! 🥰
