Hey… Great to see Jason Aker . Haven’t seen this talent since he was with Richard Rawlings . Was always very impressed with Jason’s work, ideas & ethic
That paint scheme, with those wheels.... perfection! I just can't get used to that oversized Boss 429 hood scoop. That, and the corny medallions, on the quarters, but I get the desire for a more stock appearance... beautiful car!
This 69 mustang looks amazing , this year was by far one of my favorite . A story of mine started back in High School , a cammrd out demon 69 fastback shook the ears as it pulled into the parking lot , it had a faded blue and white paint scheme all it’s own , a real rod . I never meet the driver but it drew a crowd when it arrived , a very convincing beast with crazy duration .5 years later I’m trolling for something to purchase that resembles my visions of those years , it’s in seeing this familiar car parked in a local driveway that I realized , it’s the car . The for sale sign is current and Called in anticipation. The owner and I graduated the same year and it’s clear we both had mustang genes in our blood, looking it over , was never so genuinely godsmack , he told me the story of its beginnings . Rolled out for a test drive and it was believed once tested . The beast came home after a few dollars spent , the glory work began to bring it to its factory freshness .
Yeah, not a fan of non-functional scoops. One of the reasons I prefer the '70 over the 69. Unless you're going to punch them out for cooling the brakes, or engine, it's just 'window-dressing'. Especially not a fan of those faux scoops on the rear quarters of the '69s. It's just one of the reasons why I prefer 1970, but I know I'm in the minority in my opinion there..and I'm totally prejudiced.
I'm just in the beginning of the video, but, you must place the best amps in that tin can. You can't replace a Shelby, unless, you put four blowers, or a nitro funny.
Not much room for induction mods that will clear that hood. I didn't want to cut mine either, but it's (i.r.) fuel injected and even with shorty stacks, it was a no-go. As long as the stock scoop covers everything, you can maintain the stock look. I prefer the understated "sleeper" look, but when going full pro-touring resto-mod, concessions must be made. I enjoy the 'double-takes' it gets from casual Mustang fans.
Might make sense for a full-on quarter miler, but for street/road racing, manual all the way. Especially given the great strides, in technology, made in the last few years. The difference between the old top-loader and the Tremec Mag-6 (for example), is like comparing a stagecoach with a spaceship.

Watching these master car and guitar guys build a dream Mustang-Fender is like watching Rembrandt paint one of his masterpieces. Beautiful.

Two of my favorite things; Mustangs and Fender guitars ✌🏻 both of them turned out spectacular
Both the guitar and the car is so bad ass that's all i can say a match made in heaven indeed

Wait a non-functioning hood scoop? Why?

Can I get my mustang custom built by your guys?
How much?

I would not cut a whole in that hood that not a drag car

It got fake hood scoops
Where the heck was your head at when you said automatic transmission. Good way to ruin a drivers car.
