First time watcher: I have never before had the pleasure of watching and Greatly Enjoying watching three egoless men giving great "info", and enjoying themselves!! CHERRES !! "HJ" Martin
Seldom do I watch *any* 2hr vids on YT - but this one had me glued from start to finish! And I ain't even a Dodge fan. Just a pleasure watchin' the mountain of work put into this project.
For anyone that doesn't know any better, do *not* use 4 point harnesses. If you need a harness, use a 5 or 6 point harness. With a four point harness in an accident the lap belt can slide up off of your hips (or your body can slide down). This is called 'submarining'. The effect is that the belt cuts into your gut, causing significant internal damage.
Brother survived a head on collision in an Xterra. 3 point hitch and the belt strap caused internal bleeding. Cost him a length of small intestine and 5 months dealing with a colostomy.
I had a 1963 Dodge Dart as my first car. I enjoyed your presentation of this build. I always enjoyed wrenching my own stuff, but don't do it anymore. Thanks for getting me fired up on it again.
This Dodge is absolutely amazing! I could only hope to have a beauty like this. Y'all went the whole way making this car perfect in every way possible! 👌

My first was a 73 Dart Sport slant six. I blew up three six in two years and put a 360 in it. I still have the car, and am waiting for some of my kids to move out so I have the time/money/space to work on it again.
You guys are so totally amazing. First time watching your channel, and a couple things I really like is that you or fast forward through some of the processing but you explain everything that you are doing. It is so fantastic to see the process from the beginning to the end in one video.!

I really like the presenters on this channel. There is no hype or fate enthusiasm. They just present you with what they are doing and do it. It's very instructional without being patronizing. It's very well balanced. You have a new subscriber. I will definitely mention this to my friends.
I'm a Mopar man myself, I put a 440 in a 1963 dodge truck back in the 80s, I had automatic with duel exhaust. I had a slant 6 in it originally. Boy was it fast!
Very well built. The only thing that I would like to have seen is chromed bumper bars. Painted bumpers nearly always makes a nice car look cheap or the build buget couldn't strech far enough to finish the car properly.
Love it. This is what I would want to build if I had a lot of money. Too bad I don’t, I would be happy with the stock car with the intake lid flip and a glass pack. Awesome build
Love it! My Grandpa had an old Plymouth Duster (early 70's model, dont remember exactly what year), I loved that thing, tried to talk Grandma into selling it to me after he passed back in the early 80's but she told me she aint selling it to no family member because it wouldn't cause nothing but problems. I did buy an old 72 Plymouth Valiant from my Grandma & Grandpa on the other side back in the early 90's and drove that old thing damn near to the wheels fell off though. It was a funky 4 door with a slant six but them old engines would run forever! I would still love to get a hold of an old Duster! Wound up buying a a new 2015 Challenger Scat Pack though to try to fulfill my cravings for a Mopar Muscle car but it still aint the same, still plan to get one of those old 70's models one of these years before I bite the dust!
Who else is watching this, and thinking about building something similar 🤔 Seems to happen to all of us. Unfortunately only a small percentage of us actually do it 😔 The choice of Willow Green really set the car off, and of course the Blacked out HEMI on the bonnet just adds that finishing touch. Really enjoyed watching the build.👍
This is the first one of your videos that I have watched. It was a great video and I will definitely watch more of yours. Thanks for being so professional.
Damn, I am watching this for like the third time and it just hit me! There are some amazing views of the Stephens Junk yard that could EASILY BE "pics" for an amazing calendar. Doubt me? The camera man already proved the point with his stop at 37:10, tell me I am wrong. Perfection.
From Indianapolis but also a GM man but I respect the old school mopars more than the new but that's with cars and trucks in general nothing like the classics my fav being the 64 Chevy 2's a the 69-71 Chevelle's and Nova's
I used to work in a body shop, and I have repaired ans recovered seats. It is NOT easy, but it feels good to see a completed job where you can't tell the seats have been recovered. My nightare job was a Volvo where the side airbag was deployed. It not only tore the side of the leather seat cover, but also twisted the frame and dameged the foam. Took a long time, but it looked great when I was done. (I also used some of the old leather cover to recover my 25 year old rolling shop stool...LOL!)
Haven't watched it yet, a real valid point was made. I own a '75 Dart Sport. Found it on accident. I was chasing a '67 notchback and Google maps blew it big. I was in Portland, Oregon not Massachusetts. I know all the Duster stuff from owning them, and she seemed bigger, better sounding, and felt wonderfully better driving her. They are the overlooked child. And now I watch the video, and thank you in advance for doing this video, just not a lot out there for those of us who have one, and nope, it ain't a Duster for sure...
The blower is huge 450 ci per revolution from the 8-71 weirdness kit with a 7 liter built hemi. It’s amazing now that you can make more horsepower in an engine a 1/3 of that size.I didn’t realize how big the belts were back then. In my car I use a 65mm pulley on my supercharged lakers. Couldn’t imagine the gas mileage prolly like 5 miles per gallon
I love A-bodies! I had a 69 GTS that I put into the 10's with a 340 and a whole lotta money. I think we ALL have that car that we wish we had never sold. THAT was just ONE of them.
Frames too bent and messed up. Edit- and theres not like there new roofs and rear body structure, front structure really avalible honestly, and at that point your gonna have to do a lot more body tube add on to help hold it all togeather, over time if its just weld on new peice your body will start bowing at those points. So might as well just make a tube car, and set the body peices on it :/. And then you can just get carbon fiber molds and have a tube car, with a carbon body, and put that daytona vin plate on it and boom, there ya go.
I was one of those kids on the sidewalk, I believe it was an Oldsmobile 442 w/spoiler that shook the sidewalk.. All my friends were just as excited as I was. I also remember seeing a Dodge Charger Daytona for the first time, now that car left an indelible impression on me as well.. lol Great memories..
It's a shame that this generation ain't into muscle cars and especially old beautiful muscle cars . it's 2021 and if I had the chance I'd trade it for any car that was built anywhere from 1979 to 1950's car because the metal in them car's back then were life saves if you ask me . Thank you for sharing this built with us America is number one !!!
A lot of younger car guys just can't afford them. It's much easier for them to buy a newer subaru/honda that already runs, has a/c and other basic options, rather than buying a muscle car in need of restoration for the same price.
Love watching the show Love what you guys are doing with it and yes you're right you can find these mopars for not much money the problem for me is 7 out of 10 of these cars are rotted out I live in the north east good luck God bless
Such a cool build, and different. Sure it's a Mopar, but it's not what everyone expects automatically, like a Charger...Challenger...or even a Superbird. And it absolutely is breathtaking.
For marking your rim for 12 bead lock screws you can use a set of dividers, possibly after you make some, opened up to the radius of the bolt circle. The dividers will evenly walk around the rim 6 times. Measure the midpoint between any two marks and walk the dividers around a second time for a dozen holes. This also works to get 6 pieces of pie without needing Pi. An old Cooper's barrel trick.
Best you go to a welding course first vertical up not vertical down is a bull shit weld 6g 6 inch pipe ticket vertical up and down hand 3 tickets I sat got them all I made it through the Panama conell all the way to Philadelphia ships don't float with holes in them 😂 no fucking way I'd cut my car up like that 71 gts monaro $245,000 in Australia and new Zealand
Anybody know if they have a build list for all of the parts they used? I have a ‘75 I’m working on and would to grab some of the smaller things they didn’t call out in the video.
Tommy: a little closer to what you might be building at home. Rick: pretty much swapping out the entire drivetrain. Me: You guys are a little unclear on the concept of "building at home".
@@johnderekmitchell1510 And I did a lot of wrenching back in the late '70s early '80s. NOBODY I knew swapped out an entire drivetrain! We dealt with what we had. Nobody had the kind of money to throw away an engine and transmission. The guys at powernation are spoiled. Even today this does not represent what I would "build at home". I stand by what I said. They're unclear on the concept.
Great Job! My only (small) gripe is that spraying the engine bay the same as body color is the way to go for trying to make it a Mopar paint job. Great Job Guys.
My uncle had a Dodge Dart Swinger. My grandmother drove a yellow black striped 340 Cuda with a shaker hood that my other uncle gave her when he was deployed.
Sweet job guys, I've always been able to work on cars but nothing like what you guys can do. Amazing! Is this beast for sale and if it is where can I find it?
Having an open unlimited parts bin that the advitisers pay for plus every tool imaginable helps this build look easy. Alot of fabrication and an equal amount of time. Great build quality when you have the resources.
I get stoned and watch the heck out these love these builds

Mine *IS* a '75 Gold Duster that *HAD* a slant 6 (I put in a 318).
Mine was a '73 Dodge Dart Sport with the 318 in B3 Super Blue, it also had the hand cranked moonroof. Those were the days, I wish I still had it.

Great build, great car, really addictive viewing. Thanx guys, greetings from the UK.
Who else is watching this, and thinking about building something similar 🤔
Seems to happen to all of us.
Unfortunately only a small percentage of us actually do it 😔
The choice of Willow Green really set the car off, and of course the Blacked out HEMI on the bonnet just adds that finishing touch.
Really enjoyed watching the build.👍
This is the first one of your videos that I have watched. It was a great video and I will definitely watch more of yours. Thanks for being so professional.
GREAT build! Looks great, sounds great. Love me some blower surge and whine, cam lope, and big rubber stuffed into a tubbed rear-end!
Thicc Bacon and Baullz-Deep Bosherz is AT IT AGIN!!!
My dad had this when I was a kid. Never knew why he loved it until now.
Damn, I am watching this for like the third time and it just hit me! There are some amazing views of the Stephens Junk yard that could EASILY BE "pics" for an amazing calendar. Doubt me? The camera man already proved the point with his stop at 37:10, tell me I am wrong. Perfection.
As a Detroit native ( EastSide ) born & raised I love a vintage dodge being a GM man I respect everything with the mopar old & new
Same here bro, (EastSide as well Morang & Kelly) I got a 74 dart I’m trying to put together now
From Indianapolis but also a GM man but I respect the old school mopars more than the new but that's with cars and trucks in general nothing like the classics my fav being the 64 Chevy 2's a the 69-71 Chevelle's and Nova's
Me too!❤😊
I used to work in a body shop, and I have repaired ans recovered seats.
That was a very informative and amazing video to watch thanks guys i loved it very much 10 out of 10 :)
That engine is HUGE!!! Just go down a couple of inches "crash bang!! " we,re in. :)
Someone pulled that daytona out of there and restored it, look up stephens performance daytona to see the pics
Very informative and fun without the BS drama of most car shows
Another great full build video. Love these. Keep 'em coming. ❤👍
Thank you for doing a MOPAR.
Love these documentaries on muscle car builds. Great entertainment.
Loved the build. More Mopar please!
Awesome build.
God I used to watch this show on weekend mornings in the mid 2000's
Besides the beer and bbq, power nation was always the favorite part of my weekend!!
Good to see a complete build on the tuber.
Love watching the show Love what you guys are doing with it and yes you're right you can find these mopars for not much money the problem for me is 7 out of 10 of these cars are rotted out I live in the north east good luck God bless
South East no better and people still think that the 6cylinder cars are worth a fortune
That Green self etching primer they are using is super good paint. It's extremely high in Zinc oxide. Great stuff
Awesome Build!
Tommy Boshers: Master of ALL Trades
Love that mean ass dart nice ride.
These rim screws are for competition use only! Proceeds to immediately take it out on the street😂. Gotta love these older build videos.
Pretty cool build! I would go the extra mile tho!
Thank you for sharing this build with us. It reminded me of my Son building his car.
Plenty of these things were built at home. Especially back when Pro Street began.
Unless your home is the workshop☺
Ha ha ga
Восстановление таких крутых олдтаймеров несомненно заслуживает уважения👍
That is some serious badassery, u even got the color on point!
You guys did a Great job ! 🇺🇸👍
This is from 2012... wow
i'm glad u guys are driving that...after seeing the welds i wouldn't even let my worst enemy in it
Great Job! My only (small) gripe is that spraying the engine bay the same as body color is the way to go for trying to make it a Mopar paint job. Great Job Guys.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does the hood the same way on my blower builds
you guys are awesome much props🍻🍻
Finally a MOPAR,got tire of them Fords and Chevy,Thanks Guys..Good Job.
Hello from Michigan love that car gorgeous.
Great video! Came out perfect 👌🏽
You boys sure gave that thing one heck of a tune up.
Beautiful car I enjoyed the whole video keep up the good job guys thank you for sharing your video
I would’ve daily drove the crap outta that thing as it sat when they picked it up
Hell yea.. I was just thinking that. 4500$. Fuckin wish I could find one. Or something that cool for that price.
When he says “we’re plantin’ seeds” that’s the most accurate thing I’ve ever heard😂
Congrats... complete professionals!!!!!
Helps to have a tech school degree and a million dollar shop.
Lovely build. Thank you!
What happened to using the narrow bumpers from the previous year? Awesome build, I’m in the process of looking for a 76 aspen.
They wouldn't fit, an they're too expensive
Exactly
Good luck with the Aspen! They’re overlooked and under appreciated.
Aspens were probably crushed faster than the Darts.
Dang what a awesome looking car!!!!
38:57 uses rag to wipe down his clean ass hands lol!
Great vid, really enjoyed!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
"DONT MESS WITH MY DAAAART"!!! 📺
That 440 six pak challenger @37:14 looks familiar I remember a plumb crazy one pin striped like that running around Lexington Ky back in the 70s
ME: Listening to that thing spool up as it leaves me at the light... "Dayam!" Great job by PROs.
Priceless education......
“Look these bug tires are street legal” *proceeds to place a 3 foot blower in front of the windshield*
Priorities my guy.
And bead screws
@@mightymikeamps9317 m
X-ray x,r you rr
Totally street legal in my state LMAO. Pretty much can do whatever you want as long as it's 25 years old 👍
Love watching these guys check out cars and just say the word “solid” so loosely, must be nice to not have to deal with salt😂
Should have used shrink tubing on the solder joints.
Having an open unlimited parts bin that the advitisers pay for plus every tool imaginable helps this build look easy. Alot of fabrication and an equal amount of time. Great build quality when you have the resources.
How come Rick left halfway through this build
Possible he couldn't commit to the show, contract was up, and he went back to painting and custom work
