PowerNation guys, if you read the comments, please know that many of your viewers understand what you are doing with a car like this. A lot of people are upset that y'all are cutting up and fully changing this original survivor. It's important to understand that a split bumper camaro like this LT trim is only desirable for its appearance. Yes, trucks like that command a lot of price, but not for what they were. Even though it was a cool truck stock, its value wasn't in keeping it all original, numbers matching, etc. Its value was in the great base it offered for the frame-off subtle restomod we did to it, and for her nostalgia for the '76 F100 she drove in high school. Yes, now it's fuel injected, with every aspect of the engine aftermarket except the original FE block (it was in great shape), 4-wheel disc brakes, big wheels and tires, a posi rear-end, and a modern sound system with a ton of dynamat. But, it gives her all of her high school nostalgia vibes with original suspension geometry, original bench seat, original dash, original sheet metal (with fancy new paint), and original drivetrain (except that rear end). The truck wasn't valuable as a survivor. Instead, it feels like her high school truck, but looks cooler, has a ton more power, and is safer (with power windows!). That's what these guys did. That car should have been just left alone. Seemed to be a beautiful OEM car, oh it did get a repaint once. This build turned a great classic car to just a modified car. These guys are just parts reinstaller’s. They knew this and still did just that.
I love looking at a complete build like this, especially with all the handling and performance enhancements, I mean this was the full meal deal. But that vinyl!? Oh man I was around in '73 and it looked bad then and worse now lol. I know you're not paint and body guys but you added carbon fiber and a spoiler but left that nasty vinyl...SMH. 😆
You guys know better than this... With the direction the automotive industry is going cars this rare need to be saved at all costs... there are so many CHEAPER cars out there that you could have used as your starting point, since your only reasoning for using this particular car was since "you guys aren't body guys" you needed something you didn't have to do body and paint work to which I understand but as a said get a cheaper starter car and use the 15-20k you saved to pay for body and paint work because obviously the chassis doesn't matter if its nothing but rust because you put a new one piece chassis under it.... I could keep going because this stuff fires me up... I'm going to go cry myself to sleep now.

I've got a 22 gladiator but diesel with a tazer, I love the honest dead pan answer and explanation, taco if you're not really serious and want to ride comfy, Jeep if you really know what you're signing up for. I'm just about to swap my regular Rubicon speeding out with the 2" Mopar factory. Wasn't available when I ordered but got it for 1800 ish, there a mod depending on which one you want, for my 22, Fox were the shocks, there's a couple newer factory lifts that have different brand shocks, the brand escapes me at the moment but I don't have a brand loyalty, I had to be careful because I have the diesel so some of the front end is a little different
The Hood Scoop Is Too Far Forward, Looks Not Right.
Its not a scoop
Its a warm air extraction vent, hense the far forward position, to draw air up and out of the radiator before it gets near the aircleaner. And helps keep heat out of the engine bay on road corse and autocross. There is a reason uts where it is.
Well, I lasted all the way until they changed out the stock chrome bumperettes with carbon fiber ones. I have cringed as they destroyed such a beautiful original, but kept watching. The carbon fiber bumperettes are a bridge too far.
Should have a 6 speed manual, matte hood and something other than all chrome wheels.
Very nice work
Holy Crap that looks like the Camaro my buddies dad had and I live outside Louisville as well....
Really love what you guys do with the car and with professionalism but if you could have commented less on the build and show more of the build.....
Incredible build. Sick car. Should have started with a basket case and restored it rather than molest a cherry like that. Any shitbox Camaro destined for the crusher would have exalted in becoming this car.
whats the puddle under the front end from at 2:28:18 ??? hhmmmm?
your right on the money again i said 65-75 a barrel jr, its hovering around 73
I couldnt find lube locker gaskets online. Do you provide material provider addresses on this site?
Dude in powder coat booth spraying that crap with no mask is crazy, his face is covered in the powder
I’m actually not a huge car guy, I came here for the music
My heart hurts to see a beautiful original camaro get destroyed 😢
Honestly…..you shouldn’t have ‘ruined’ that nice Camaro. You could have just built from ground up. Anyway…great program.
TITLE???????
I love the '70-'73 Rally Sport. The only thing nicer is a Z28/RS.
Awesome
Rebuilding classics is awesome when you have a 50K budget
at your disposal..
Way to ruin a great car that should have been left alone. Done with this series. Unreal.
I want this done for a 1978 chevy caprice classic
Crazy to cut -up that OG
That car should have been just left alone. Seemed to be a beautiful OEM car, oh it did get a repaint once. This build turned a great classic car to just a modified car. These guys are just parts reinstaller’s. They knew this and still did just that.
I'm a 1973 model. Wonder if they could build me a chassis😂
Roll 🐘Tide!
They ruined the pristine car... should have just looked for a shell. 12.56 into the show. Was stated that their going to keep the classic look
The only gripe I have is we are watching a "full build' video then why endless recaps over what i just watched?
siemen energy might be a good investement, think about it everybodies lives depends on electricity
Nice video. Enough with the LS motors in classic iron though.
"That's right...."😎
Gotta hold that tig torch there a little longer. Damn near no post flow on those aluminum welds.
it was an un touched survivor and they destroyed the car the moment they touched it with a cut off wheel
I would love to see them build a Mopar V8 5000 Horsepower engine for a 1969 dodge charger SE R/ T..!!
At the end of the day does it really matter?? The Communists are going to deem all gasoline powered vehicles illegal so..😢
I'm pretty sure this proves. That head has a lot to do with how the engine sounds
What's with the mismatched lug nuts? Why black spline in the front & chrome in the rear...
Carbon Fiber drive shaft, IMHO, is just asking for problems when on the strip.
