FULL BUILD: 1966 Ford Bronco Crazy Horse

  • This build packs something for everybody! Stacey David strips down and rebuilds a '66 Ford Bronco. He starts by taking off the old and bolting on the new. The goal with this build is to pay tribute to the legendary Baja Bronco of the '70s as well as make it a state-of-the-art trail rig while being street legal.
Project Crazy Horse gets a new front axle, new springs, and shocks before adding new wheels and tires. Then, the old Straight Six gets the boot. The new powerhouse will give the truck 390 HP. Stacey walks you through the custom paint job before mounting the body back on the frame bringing this awesome rig one step closer to completion.
The Bronco gets everything from seats, to roll bar, to fender flares, a winch, bumpers, and lights. Then a few tips and techniques on how to make things fit when they don’t want to. And finally, we walk you through the proper steps on how to put a show quality finish!

Yes for sure. I get rather tired trying to find all the individual episodes. And when other powernation shows change the wording of the episode titles it makes it even harder. Do you fellows have any tricks to search for all the episodes on a particular project?

Motor was a built 429 SCJ Ratchet locker rear detroit locker front on 39s. springs where custom done by 2 friends who worked for a spring company. 1 could set front tire on 5 ft ramp and other 3 still hit ground. It was a 4 speed trands with 205 trandfer case. I used to follow them in their Jeep rock crawling and just having fun. The truck never failed me offroad and never used the winch. I busted U Joints and twisted a drive shaft as well as broke axle shafts in a dana 60 but thats what happens when you smoke all 4 on asphalt LOL

I like watching these old trucks. That's where I first saw Stacy. David and he fixed Ted Nugent's 4x4 and got a jam with them come on. That's America right there 🇺🇲

While I don’t like everything about the paint, this is one bad bronco. Seriously awesome build, but blue and silver FTW.

You can see Stacy David playing guitar with the band near the beginning of the movie "Overboard" (1987) Goldie Hawn - Kurt Russel

Yup watched the entire video and I have to say IT WAS THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE. I am 34 and missed out on all this growing up, make's me kinda wish we had cable as a kid. Though growing up with bunny ears was not so bad either, more time outside.

Say Stacey, could you make this job look any easier or more enjoyable? So much fun to watch!
