Thanks for the advice on pulling out the assembly. Mine was really hard to wiggle and pull out.
Just bought these for my 2021 SR5
Matches the (cargo)third brake light. Was my first mod with license plate lights.
Really like mine. Just be very careful when pulling the tail light out and not hit the bumper. Gashed mine pretty good.

I would add a dab of silicone grease on the light lense mounting pins for making it easier to remove in the future too.

Uh, you might wanna emphasize how fragile the plastic is around the bolt clips.
How have they healed up? Do you still use these or did you go back to the regular light bulb?

I believe you only have to remove 2 bolts the second one down from the top and the fourth one down

I punched the link on the LED Reverse lights, and according to Amazon, they aren’t compatible with my 2019 Tacoma. 🤷♂️ Did anyone else run into this?
Yes. Bought them off Amazon any they don’t work on my 2021 Tacoma. Wish I knew that before waiting. However, the lights linked in the license plate video worked fine.
