Hows it holding up? I've been using the lasfit bulbs in mine, and they died out. So I'm checking this out before I actually give the Morimoto a try. Because idw to keep going through license plate bulbs, those are a pita to work with

These are too bright and do interfere with the backup camera.
Man I’m just like you, I love making videos. I’ll recommend you getting a slider or making a slider to mount your tripod. It’ll be smoother than the hand held video of the easter promo

Anyone had luck replacing the actual socket where the bulb sits? I can’t seem to get mine removed (all rusted).

They do affect the backup camera negatively.
I will admit I do like the look of it but there is one problem you did not show us of what it looks like through the back up camera also if it’s too bright and it interferes with the back up camera. I would be curious to know this information before purchasing.
There is one problem as you mentioned...and it's a bad one. Good catch!
I found it easier to use a pry tool and pop out one clip from the front. Then wiggle and push from the back to pop it out.

If I’m being honest it’s does have a glare it’s not horrible but it does slightly glare from being bright

The only bad when you reverse at night the leds are to bright on the screen
