Haworthia Zebra has a very resilient root. But, sometimes you may catch a Zebra with no root! 🧐 #succulentcare #cacti #plantcare #succulentforbeginners
3 spoonfuls every 3days is such a dried out way to keep this plant. if u wait until the soil is totally dry then saturate then wait until totally dry then saturate then wait until totally dry then saturate then wait until totally dry then saturate you get the idea... it will grow quickly if you stay right on top of those timings... as for any succulent absolutely any!!! I speak from many years of work
You never ever want listen to someone who tells you exact measurements for watering. Plants should be thorough watered when they need it, not measured in spoonfuls of all things.
@@matthewbritt7485 exactly! People don't realise that in the Natural environment of these plants it's really dry but it also rains a lot depending on the season
What if it was infested with bugs? I have a haworthia that had scale and I just gave it a bath and soaked it for 15 minutes in soapy water. I think I got all of the scale off, but I’m not entirely sure how to care for it now. Do I cut off the roots? Do I reply it? Wait for it to callus? I have no clue what to do next…
You are overwatering your plant. Thats why the roots were rotten. Aloe should be watered 1 or 2 times per month at the most. Spray the roots every few days to stimulate new growth, without wetting the soil; and then only water when your leaves get squishy. Or your roots will rot again like they already did
i have a plant like this and the entire bottom and inside is a dark brown, but it is not mushy it is hard. is this because i did not water enough? i repotted and it grew a flower!! but it’s still hella dark brown. anyone know why?
Well, it sounds like those leaves are dying off as it gets bigger. There are different species that act different ways. So maybe just pull those brown leaves off . and toss them in the bin and keep taking care of what you have.
This advice just sucks. You shouldnt be watering in spoonfuls. 3 spoonfuls id nothing. The plant wont even absorb that. The plant should be thoroughly watered when it needs it and should be planted in a way better soil than you got there
@@SucculentsBox leaves are drying , so I give water after every 2,3 days, it's raining here in Rajasthan but I avoid to keep them in rain and if I talk about roots that doesn't seem growing.
@@user-eu6hm2bb9l Watering every 2-3 days may be too frequent, especially if it's raining in your area. Try allowing the soil to dry out fully between waterings, then give the plant a thorough soak. If the soil feels dry and powdery when you stick your finger in up to the second knuckle, it's time to water your plant.

What you mentioned is also a good method because it lets your watering schedule change as the seasons change.

Hi, did you mean this one - Dragon's Blood Sedum 😉 succulentsbox.com/products/dragons-blood-sedum
What kind of soil do you use?
Zebra is blooming I’m getting too big for its clay pot and I want to repot
Hi. We usually use succulent soil mix for the most of succulents. And you can also add stones or pebbles to make the soil more porous 😉
@@SucculentsBox so like aquatic gravel?
@@tompatchak8706 Yes, you can use the aquatic gravel for succulent, it also can help the soil to porous ☺
