Hi Liz. My daughter planted a bunch of succulents in very little pots to give away to her teachers that teach with her. She wasn’t super careful and got dirt on the leaves and the plants were there was dirt on the leaves are not doing well. It seems where the dirt that part of the plant died. Tomorrow I plan to take a tweezer and try to get the dirt out of all of them. How do you plant succulents in a very small pot, without getting soil on the leaves?
Hello Hello Ms Liz… Happy Happy Mother’s Day! You are definitely a Ms Happy Happy Joy Joy Lady. I admire your sense of humor as always and your positivity and laughter is contagious 😍💓😍. It makes everyone “SMILE”. I don’t get to watch all your videos but I know they are all full of learning’s, tips, and more tips and full of information we needed. God Bless you and please take care. Love you 😊💓😊 Awwww…. And I love all those babies you have. For sure they are much more happier now as they were moved to a more beautiful house for them. Love love love Haworthia’s 😊💖😊🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you 👍, very useful information. I am totally new in gardening and your this video has taken up all my worries. Now I can do repotting very easily.
I've been growing succulents for several years now but with little interest in multiplying them, but recently, I had a sudden urge to expand my collection after arranging a gift of succulents for a friend. I posted a short clip on my Instagram and a few videos was suggested to me. One thing led to another and here I am binge watching all your videos. I'm so glad I've found you. I'm learning so much already. Subscribed yesterday. 🥰
Hey Liz l have lost you for some time ago.. Happy to hear your voice again. Thanks for the tips. I always killed them when l try to get new plants. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for this video. My grandson told me yesterday that I need to "look into Haworthia Obtusa" plants and grow them. I had no idea what he was talking about. So I'm binge-watching succulent videos today. Your video was very helpful.
I love Haworthias, and just like all your videos, this has helped me because I have a cluster that I need to repot, thankyou Liz 🤗 We love and appreciate you for being everything that you are, please don't change 🤗 as others have said, you brighten our days and we learn so much from you, your funny ways always put a smile on our dials ☺️ Hope you got a good sleep after this being 3am xx 🌸🐝🐞🪴
We all LOVE 💕 you and that’s why we all subscribed. You are a happy person and your happiness is definitely contagious and always brings a smile to my face and instantly lifts my mood up 😊😊😊 you are an amazing person. Thank you for all the amazing videos that you put out for us.
Thank you for another good vdo. I have got clusters of haworthia as they grow fairly easy. I murdered the rare variety. I seem to have a propensity for that. And the idea of separating some babies frm the cluster and planting is valuable. We like u just the way u r! My succulent journey began by watching a vdo by you. Lockdown times. A biggggg thankuu
Oops, I usually cut or pull the flower stalks out after they bloom. I never knew babies grew on the stem! I will leave them now. Thank you, Liz! You are LOVED. ❤️😘🙏🏼💚
Love this style of your videos! I love all of your videos. Even when you ramble (I actually don’t mind at all, it helps keep me engaged lol) I learn a ton from you! I’ve watched at least 95% of all of your videos. :) I just got a greenhouse for the first time and am going to start trying to acclimatize my plants to grow outdoors (I’m overflowing with plants inside so I need to act quickly lol) but I’m worried I may loose some plants from the heat. Thank you for your amazing videos!
Hello Miss Lizk,, ni refer ko itong channel mo kay Marge Santilla,, looking forward sa guesting mo sa plant talk nya. Always a fan🌿😊❤️.Happy Mother's day.
Wow! So many succulents and their babies. Do you grow exclusively outside? Your plants are beautiful. I just bought a fairy washboard today, she has like 3 or 4 babies. I'm so excited to acclimate her and repot out if the peat moss. Any advise or suggestions?
Very easy plant to grow. Plant in a premium potting mix. Dry out soil between watering and if planted in a big pot with room to grow, it can grow like weeds. In my area, I have grown them in full sun and frost to -11°C/12.2°F. They will go red in the sun and stay green in the shade.
Hello Liz! I love your content. I am a big fan of succulents. I don't see the temperatures you listed in my charts of Hardiness Zones. For Zone 9 I am showing 20F as a low. I am in the USA. Does Australian use a different system? Just curious.
Our Zone 9 is the same as your zone 9. The temperatures I've shown on this video is what these plants have experienced in my care. Just means that you don't have to keep these plants inside if temperature goes lower than 20°F.
I use SEAMUNGUS by Neutrog in my soil mix, Seaweed liquid fertilizer for watering plus many others depending on the plants and how I want the plants to grow.
Tricolor usually refers to the natural coloring consisting of 3 colors. Whereas variegation is any plant displaying multiple colors via mutation or natural.
Just a question, when repotting haworthias and after some days you leave them so the roots have callused inside soil, you mentioned you would then water heavily - how heavily do you mean? Like literally water so the whole pot is wet soaked?
I prefer to soak for a couple of hours or spray heavily until the water runs out of the drain hole. If they are out in the open where they get rained on, I never water them at all unless we get drought and no rain for 3 months. Then I soak again and check once a month to see if it's dry. Then repeat the same process.
I use a few different ones but the main one for my soil mix is SEAMUNGUS made by Neutrog. Liquid seaweed fertilizer and other granulated form that are low in Nitrogen.
Its not related to this video But i hought a sedum palmeri Its leaves are yellow and being drying out every. Can you tell some tricks May be its very warm here or less or watering i dont know what is it may b lack of nutrients
Happy Mother's day Liz.I hope you were spoiled rotten💕💚may I ask what type of fertilizer you're using in this video?
I thought you'd never ask....😁 I'm using a Rock Mineral Fertilizer & Soil Improver by Richgro. NPK - 11:2:9

Hello ma'am Liz, just want to ask what's the difference between variegated haworthia and tricolored haworthia. Both looked the same. Thank you
Tricolor usually refers to the natural coloring consisting of 3 colors. Whereas variegation is any plant displaying multiple colors via mutation or natural.

May be its very warm here or less or watering i dont know what is it may b lack of nutrients
Sedum go dormant in summer or when temperature is high. Best way is to let them sleep till temperature cools down and they will start growing again.
