I would say so! I really enjoyed the new gear and skills and the story gets capped off nicely! Honestly, I think it's the ending they always intended the game to have and they just didn't have time to do it before release.
I'm glad to announce that unlike HZD, you can rebind mouse scroll on PC. The default binding is to scroll through weapons, but you can only carry 6, so you might as well use the number pad. Instead, rebind it to your toolkit. It makes much more sense.
even if i dont play this game anymore im still watching this videos for the sole purpose of supporting your channel, you are such an amazing content creator and im sure you have helped a lot of players improve and enjoy this game way more... keep it up!
Yea the combat mechanics in this game kinda suck in my opinion I love the story but I hate getting spam trampled to death but he definitely helped me a bit the fighting is still annoying tho but overall a good game
recently started replaying Forbidden West and I've never delved so deep into a singleplayer game's combat mechanics and I think it speaks so much to the game's excellence in this area that even a half hour long, in-depth quality breakdown like this into the gameplay still doesn't truly convey what it takes to master the higher difficulties. This is arguably one of the best pieces of content I've seen - not only for this game, but for gaming as an entertainment medium. Excellent work! Wish I watched all these before starting my first playthrough.
Another banger with your insane production value, and incredible pace. 1000+ hours of my own in this game didn't stop me from watching the entire thing:) cant wait for more content for the PC version. Cheers Arktix!
Your videos are really a must-see for anyone playing the Horizon games! I'm not even playing Horizon at the moment, but I have to take a break in my work day now to watch this :D
I mainly use a fixed but tactical weapons selections so that I am open to many situations and have the right elemental ammo to take down Machines. My loudout includes a Ropecaster (The Tie That Binds), 2 Slings (Skyhammer and The Wings of the Ten), a Shredder Gauntlet (The Ancestor’s Return), and a Hunter Bow (The Emperor’s Reign). My main armor is the Utaru Gravesinger, the reason why I use this instead of a legendary armor is because it is a mixed gear making it more convenient to have equipped. Anytime I enter an Outpost, first thing I do is to tag all of the enemies before going in so I can plan my attacks carefully. Here’s a little trick I discovered which has to do with the Machine Grapple Strike. (It only applies to enemies that are Shocked or Tied down) So when a Machine is tied down or Shocked, it’s not bad to use the Machine Grapple Strike but most people actually do it wrong. Don’t immediately start with the Grapple Strike, just start with a Critical Strike then follow up with the Grapple Strike to deal maximum damage to the Machine. Anyway, that’s my preferred play style and I feel it has worked all the time as it has made the game pretty simple over time.
The order which to do, Grapple /Critical Strike depends in the damage you do and difficulty. Machines have a Damage Limit, which makes them awaken early : Light = 100 / Medium = 300 / Heavy = 600. The fun thing is, the Health modifer from Difficulty is also applied to them so on Very Hard they become 182 / 546/ 1092 and on Ultra Hard 294 / 882 / 1764.
This is my first time commenting on any of your videos as I watch on my tv but I've really wanted to let you know for a while now how goddamn awesome you are! Thank you (and all of your contributors) for all of the hard work these videos must take to produce. Your master class videos have been invaluable and I send all my friends who play straight to your channel for info. Can't wait to see what the future holds in store for you and your channel!
Wow thank you so much! I’m glad to hear you’ve found my content helpful 😁 And thank you so much for sharing with your friends! That helps more than you know 🙏🏼🙂 Thank you for your support!
I love your videos! Your videos helped me reach 100% in both Horizon Forbidden West and the Burning Shores, all legendaries maxed and everything coiled with the best legendary coils (thank you arena glitch🙏) and I consider myself a pretty good player thanks to your guides. You helped me so much with these!
Just bought the expansion and having a hard time getting back into the game after completing it 2ish years ago. So many mechanics I forgot. This video was very helpful. Thank you.
This turned out great! I loved Aloy's waltz with the machines 🤣 And I have to admit that I'm guilty of thinking I should "save" my valor for "later" because... what if I need it and I've wasted it!?!? Which is totally silly because then I just never use it. Don't be me, everyone. Just use it!
@robo-dino-puppy yhh I get that. I was even like that with expensive ammo in HFW even though I'd got endless amount of volatile sludge and everything. Became such a hoarder until one day I said enough is enough! 😅 now I make liberal use of all the most expensive ammo types just because I can ✊️
Game Design Problem. You want a) Progression b) not overwhelm new players. So Abilites are few, and energy resources build up slowly. But this makes the usage then expensive (scarcity). Guerilla tried to make upfor it with different amount of Valor needed and not much for the first Level of an VS but with hiding the actual number, left it so vague, that hardly anyone botherd ,because the observable effects are so arcane. @@robo-dino-puppy
Hey Arktix Many thanks for all great videos and guides. It helped a lot! Just a few questions to clarify, if you don’t mind: 1) if the food gives you level to your skill, does it mean you can go over level 4? 2 skills+outfit+weave or you can compensate with the food to get level 4? 2) if frozen state ignore armor, why hitting components or weak points is better? My understanding just because of bonus damage on removing components? 3) corrosive state does not ignore the armor plates? I believe no point apply it over frost? Thanks a lot!
Hey thanks! Glad to hear you’ve found my content helpful 😁 And great questions! Here are my answers: 1) Yes, you can sort of go past level 4, but it will give you no benefit, so it’s a waste to do so. Instead, you should boost another skill that isn’t at level 4 yet. 2) Yes, weak points and components still give a 10-60% damage boost stacked on top of the 80-100% boost from brittle/frost. So, it’s still always better to aim for them. 3) It’s true, if you can freeze a machine, do that. But many machines are resistant to frost and weak to acid, so you may have an easier time applying acid.
This is a fantastic video. I have hundreds of hours of playtime, but this video provides a great refresher, as well as many new tips I might have glossed over before. Thanks for continuing to make such helpful content.
I played HZD and HDW since day one. But man.. your videos and how you explain everything and your calm voice. This channel is soooo underestimated!! Thank you for your research and time!
One BIG thing about Warrior Bows that you didn’t mention is that they do NOT suffer any sort of damage penalty for not fully drawing your shot prior to firing it. That means with Warrior bows you can literally rapid fire your shots with no damage penalty! This is the only weapon that has this perk, thus it can be fantastic in close quarters to do lots of damage quickly, specially when inflicting Freeze first! Since youll be rapid firing shots into the foe & won't have the time to aim your shots at weak spots, you want Frost applied so your damage isn't reduced by the armor plating of the enemy. This is great even against big machines to take them down quickly, specially later on when you have access to more critical hit buffs! These fire so fast that you'll be able to get lots of critical hits with these bows! They are similar to Boltblasters in that respect, as you won't be able to aim your shots well, so inflicing freeze first is always a good idea when using these two weapon types, as well as tieing the enemy down with a Ropecaster, so you can freely pump ammo into the foe without it moving. Tieing it down first is a great way to actually be able to line your shot up with a weak point before unloading. Am sure many ppl have seen the videos showing a Fireclaw being taken down in seconds using either a Boltblaster or Warrior Bow by inflicting freeze, tieing it down & then pumping ammo into the canisters on it's butt 😁 Does insane damage VERY quickly! This game is all about working smarter, not harder. By using the mechanics to the fullest & taking advantage of various damage buffs in your skill trees, coils/weaves & built in armor bonuses. These can add up for HUGE damage when set up correctly!
@@ArktixOfficial I really don't get how people can be so negative in their criticisms against the combat system. It is by far the most thorough combat system I've played to date in an RPG. The only thing I can come up with is that they just haven't invested the time into learning it.
This is the first game I've really dug into after playing destiny for 6 years and finally getting burnt out. This channel has been the best find for me. And it easily rivals the best destiny creators. Super stoked there's a community for another game too.
Welcome! Glad you're enjoying Horizon and thank you! 😁 Glad you're enjoying my content 🙂 If you'd like to hang out and chat with other people who love Horizon my discord is the best place! The link is in all my video descriptions. You're welcome any time 🙂
I'm a quadriplegic I can still use my hands but my fingers don't work. As contradictory as that sounds I can still play with the controller but with great limitations so I really appreciate videos like this that can make complex difficult moving games easier and more accessible to people like me. Thank you so much I look forward to seeing your other videos
Wow that is so impressive you’re able to play with the controller! I’m happy to hear you’ve found my videos helpful 😁 Thanks for your comment! Hey, have you seen the PlayStation Access controller? It’s specifically made for players with physical limitations.
Thank you so much for your content! I am prepping myself for the pc version and I literally cannot wait! And your videos and tutorials are incredibly helpful ❤
Just started playing Forbidden West for the first time. I remember Zero Dawn feeling a lot harder in the beginning when I didn't fully understand all the mechanics needed to take down the machines. I love how balanced the second game feels, more challenging but now when I know the combat style it's just so fun. Thanks for the tips!
Glad you’re enjoying it! I would say you experience is actually the opposite of most people’s. Most people tend to find Forbidden West harder than Zero Dawn, so that’s interesting! Regardless, glad you’re having a good time!
I just came here today looking for some tips about the new HFW and I discovered your videos! I'm not english speaker, just an Italian that can understand it :D And I have to say that your content is amazing, also really clear and understable, my congratulations!
Wow, just wow. Had to pause several times just so I didn't get information overload (rewinding and rewatching sections has to come later). You pack so much in, present it articulately, and with humour ("Let the dance begin"). Your video composition is well thought out. But wait ... there's more ! All those other video's too on specific aspects of weapons, outfits, fighting techniques, differences between HZD and HFW ... SOOO much more. We're well rewarded by your 1,000 hours+ on HFW, and it shows.
The tip you gave about turning on auto-sprint was a life saver for me during my Ultra-Hard playthrough. I preferred keeping it off during previous playthroughs because I like meandering through the world and only sprinting occasionally. But that's NOT an option when you're facing Ultra-Hard enemies, and need to be quick on your digital feet XD
Arkrix, after being motivated, I am playing hard difficulty and honestly, it is very fun. I am starting to improve in the game and now I understand why harder difficulties are fun. Nice video. KEEP IT UP. ❤👍
Just a notice that elemental buildup does not trigger a chain reacton because some weapons use ammo with impact damage+elemental buildup that means you can't trigger a chain reaction with elemental buildup only, the ammo needs to deal elemental damage for a chain reaction.
No words can describe how i waited for this. Played at launch on ps4 and beat it. Months later had to sell my ps4 to pay the bills and i couldnt play anymore. Finally the game is releasing for pc. Cant wait. Years of waiting for this moment...i act like it is my first time playing this game😂.
I realy appreciate your tips for this incredible game, they help a lot, specially to keeping the hype for play again on PC. And I really liked your scenario too! The mug is soo pretty! Thanks for your videos!
Production values are top notch. It's been lovely watching your work develop and improve. Hope you get a bunch more subscribers with the PC launch-you deserve them all.
Nice to see our work paid off! It is so much better than I expected. I know we only saw the drafts, but this is so much more! Like it better than what we wrote c: Too bad the combat example had to be cut. Would have been cool to see how you take down machines now that you have 1000 hours of experience. Makes me want to make some custom hitlist for machines. See who could make it the cleanest/quickest hunt. I'm sure the community could give Mr.FancyPants/Slazinger a run for his money XD
Thanks Phos! Glad you liked it 😁 Yeah I wish I could have kept the combat example in as well. That was a great suggestion. I’d like to work that into another video. I’m definitely up for a hunt challenge! 😁
Yup, I 100% agree about not bothering with elemental status effects til way later in the game.... You don't get truly good elemental weapons til way later, and these effects are far more useful on tougher machines vs weaker/smaller ones. Better to just take out the smaller/mid sized machines with normal attacks. In fact, I dont even like exploding canisters with Elemental damage early on as I prefer to collect those resources vs destroying them, specially early on when you're trying to build yourself and your stockpile up.
Heavy attack on KBM is hold down G now. Much better this way. Also rebinding dodge away from left ctrl to V and making your scan B helps a ton and makes dodge faster since you can do it with your thumb.
Another hint for newbies: Boltblasters are surprisingly good for dealing damage to human enemies. Just don't try to move around while firing too much. Bows are better for that.
Thank you for these videos... you break things down so usefully and with a keep eye to why people play the game. is there a video that focuses on Melee...I'll keep looking.. i suck at it. I enjoy the archery but when you are stuck in a melee fight (Regalla- brutal) my play feels feels useless. Are NPCs too OP?? Thank you ARktix
Hey thanks! Glad you've been finding my videos helpful 😄 I covered some of the basics of melee in this video you commented on, but for the melee pits specifically I have a detailed guide where I show how to beat all the challenges: ruclips.net/video/dAwoTuiA6NU/видео.html I have some more broadly applicable melee tips in there. Hope you find it helpful!
For anyone playing on pc, I've found changing the heavy/charge attack to caps lock feels so much smoother than G so I don't lose some mobility if I want to try making a heavy hit
I am super looking forward to this game hitting pc. Horizon Zero Dawn was so much fun! Really looking forward to finally getting to play Forbidden West. I am really glad you have left out so much of the spoilers here. Going to be such a blast!
@@ArktixOfficial Are you kidding me, im binge watching all of your videos atm, plus i tried making same type of video for Red Dead, i ended up recording and editing for 3 days, so i have even more respect for your dedication 💯
Haha thanks! Yeah it’s a lot of work. I appreciate you recognizing that 🙏🏼🙂 I’m live streaming an ultra hard playthrough from scratch if you want to pop in and ask questions btw! Starting today at 10AM PT / 1PM ET
Yeah it is a lot of info I wanted to wrap up in one place. Trying to get some videos like that set up for new PC players, but definitely planning new topics, too!
26:27 I basically slept on valor surge for nearly my entire playthrough of HFW until I started watching Arktix. They are absolutely there for fun, to make Aloy seem badass, and to make cool moments in combat even cooler. I kind of wish there was even the most minor tutorial on them at the first Hunting Grounds or something - c’mon Guerrilla! Show off your new stuff for the sequel!
The moment when you notice that you are no longer buying and playing a game just for fun or relaxation; instead entering a new branch of study to master and spending hours just to excel in one certain type of weapon...
Thank you for the tips!!! I tryed playig years ago but didn't like it (I think because I only played BotW back then and loved parrys/flurry rushes, like they were my entire combat style. So I didn't like not having them). I want to try playing again now that I've played games without them, so these will be very helpful!!!
It is my opinion that literally every person who berates this game aren't really RPG gamers. I just recently played through for the first time (had to wait for it to release on PC), and it is now up there on a very short list of my favorites, as is HZD. It's a beautiful game, the story is engaging, and the combat is absolutely excellent once you learn how to master it along with the many different ways you can build your character. It is by far the most thorough system to build a character from any other game I've played, and in that, I do understand that it can be daunting for some people, but once you know it, the possibilities open up. For those who just want to load up, shoot s***, and talk s***, this game probably isn't for you, and that's ok. Different strokes. I told my sons how long it takes to play through this game, and they just said, "No thanks".
Glad you enjoyed it! I would definitely agree with you. I get the impression that most people who think Horizon is bad probably got frustrated with the combat system and gave up because they didn't have any interest in learning the deeper mechanics. Like you said, that's fine, different strokes, but if you take a moment to look a little deeper at how HZD and especially HFW work, there's a ton you can do!
the lure thing is gone but as soon as you pick up this game the first you do lure the machines with a stone, i think many do this because its so apparently. And so you can lure the machines where you whant them and do a stealth take down
Thanks mate. New to HZD and HFW. I wish I found your videos while playing HZD. As I finished my first play through last week and playing HFW now where I found your vids. Complete game changer. Bout to 100% it now and going to start over again new game+ with HZD and HFW new game+ with your vids in hand. Thanks again. Looking forward to more content. And Gurilla you better fucking hire this guy for H3 lol! No seriously passionate content is the best
The devs should make a hold triangle option to automatically mark all parts on the machine you're scanning so that you can still tap for individual parts but hold to mark all.
Thank you! The pillow is actually a blanket. It’s actually just draped over the couch. You can get it on the PlayStation gear store. The Tallneck art is from Displate, but, unfortunately, they don’t sell them anymore. I think Sony shut down all the Horizon stuff Displate was selling because it wasn’t official.
Hi! Glad to hear you enjoy my videos 😁 I have used Kontrolfreak extensions in the past, but I have a Scuf controller now and it comes with different length thumb sticks, so I used a longer one for my right stick.
Glad I stumbled into this video. I was planning on replaying the game in ultra hard mode but still deciding if I should start new one or NG+. Can't ignore the ghost level and your shards man how many hours did you put in this? 🤣 my 140hrs for my 1st playthrough seemed low 😂. Anyways, good stuff man! Will certainly check other videos before and maybe during my ultra hard playthrough 😁
I gotta say, you made me revaluate HFW. Thx a lot! I started it after Zero dawn and i was not enjoying it at all: weapons and outfits suck, you cannot use coils (at first), the looting system is too scattered , too many components, expensive crafting.also the new skill system left me quite dissatisfied and the machines are way too overpowered for Aloy at first. Nevertheless, i realize with this video that HFW is more "genuine & realistic" than ZD. You cannot expect a human with no super power to destroy colossal machines with bow & arrows or a spear, nor facing them directly with insane dodging and counting on the limited enemy AI combat system as in ZD. Now i start looking at the game differently , having more "humbing respect" for the machines, which now are way more rewarding to hunt and kill. This does not cleanse the flaws of the level design of FW, but i do appreciate it more under many aspects.
Today i was thinking: do i wanna replay HFW from zero again? is it fun? I have 150hours and my gear is maxed, started a playthrough of next game plus on ultra hard few months ago but quickly lost the interest....
I was frustrating knowing that some important component required manually aim to strip it off (e.g.widemaw tusk right inside their mouth which destroyed after killed) but after screwing around in setting, realized that i can use 'custom' difficulty and toggle easy loot so some components no longer destroyed after it died. my life get easier after that 😅
But should your HFW Life be that easy? Instead of learning how to deal with the problem? HFW gives you such a big toolbox to solve problems, it´s literally the game.
@@paristeta5483 I'd say it's already hard enough. i didn't tinkering with damage modified so my aloy still easily died from direct confrontation against multiple machine and human enemy combined, i don't want to lose my head over which part to shoot off before the kill to preserve it etc. welp, each with their own preference, since game give me the option I'll use it 😆
"which part to shoot off before the kill to preserve it" that´s the neat thing, you don´t. Just scan with the focus while marking components. I just think, people miss out on meaningful gameplay in HFW, and the interaction with the machines is the game. And i see it so often recommend so early, before many can even adjust to the game. And many think they are clever, but well it´s just like the cold cheat codes IDDQD IDKFA (old Doom codes). Sure it´s ok to use it, but recognizing what it is. I wish you happy Hunting!@@PGM991
@@paristeta5483 I Know that system and always use it. tag part that would explode or cause chain reaction. but when some parts are inside their mouth, underneath it's belly etc and destroyed when killed? and i have to shoot it off in a heat of fight? sorry mate. it's skill issues and I'm fully aware of that. :D i have zero confident in brawl so my play style is full on stealth, it took me 15 minutes or more to take down single thunder jaw, shell snapper or Mammoth thingy (1 shot make them yellow, wait till turn white and fire another shot, repeat until they're died) now... my next job is hunt part of plowhorn to unlock it override... oh--- boy, that thing surrounded by claw strider... 🤔 tricky one.
Not sure if there is any key upgrade resourcer under the belly. But some sacs, those need to be blown up usually, lower difficulty explosive do the trick to hit the underside. And nothing wrong with fully embracing the stealth system! Pay more time, get more saftey. I have done it (and build for it). A good Tearblast from Stealth between the Horns could do the trick to remove them already, Clawstriders, as long as those are not elemental one with the spammy AoE Attacks. Maybe it is time for you the learn the Way of the Spear, a little Melee ;-) You know buidling confidence in the brawl.@@PGM991
If you wanted a comment to help with the algorithm, i have made a separate video on that and its linked below 🤣 just kidding, thanks for this, been struggling massively from Zero Dawn coming straight into this, this videos helps a bunch! thanks brother!
Yes you know a lot about the game, but new player like me can't remember half of these. I would love see actual examples of combat sequence for each type of enemy with explanation along the way. Hope that gives you some idea for your next video. Appreciate it.
This game is indeed ALL about avoiding damage vs absorbing it. Aloy will die VERY quickly any time she takes a hit, so dodging is absolutely critical! Sliding also gives I frames & is a great way to avoid damage from an enemy that is charging right at you.
It does indeed feel like the game's balancing is a bit poor compared to the 1st game. Certain weapon & ammo types like Tripcasters & Fire ammo are now all but useless. It's a shame they didnt fix these issues via updates.... Tripcasters & Fire ammo needed to be given a significant buff, but never did.
I think having machines out of view is no problem, I mean ive managed to dodge attacks with a sort of sixth sense for when an attack is happening all while I'm concentrating on a different machine trying to thread a shot into a weakpoint 😅

Hi bro, I'm currently playing this for the first time. I'm at level 10 and your tips helped me a lot! Thank you.
That helps more than you know 🙏🏼🙂 Thank you for your support!
not only a good guide for the beginner but also a good refresher for those who haven't played in a while
Bruhhh you went crazy on this game. Nice work
I love your videos! Your videos helped me reach 100% in both Horizon Forbidden West and the Burning Shores, all legendaries maxed and everything coiled with the best legendary coils (thank you arena glitch🙏) and I consider myself a pretty good player thanks to your guides. You helped me so much with these!
Awesome! Nice work 👍 Glad to hear your enjoy my videos and find them helpful 😁 Thanks!
That achievement is actually insane….. I could never.
this is SUCH A GOOD VIDEO. I got platinum on HZD and have had some trouble dealing big damage in HFW. this helped so much!
This video was MASSIVE, awesome job man. Probably the best overall guide out there right now. Gonna be pretty handy for a lot of folks in 3 weeks!
Hey thanks Honest! Much appreciated 🙏🏼😁 I sure hope people find it helpful!
Hey thanks robo! I think we’re probably all guilty of hanging on valor too much. Don’t sweat it 😁 I appreciate your comment!
Ha yh I'm the same 😅 pretty much never use it
@@MOSES-ThePhotoModeGuru It's a problem for me in all games that have the same sort of mechanic, honestly! I'm trying to be better about it 💪🤣
@robo-dino-puppy yhh I get that.
Soon, with the help of these videos, I will be a master of Arktix-fu
Haha excellent! 😁 It is called “The Way of The Shredder” lol
Great video ArkTix. A great crash course for folks new to the series. It is definitely my favorite game so far this gen. I hope you are good.
Hey Arktix
Many thanks for all great videos and guides. It helped a lot!
Just a few questions to clarify, if you don’t mind:
1) if the food gives you level to your skill, does it mean you can go over level 4? 2 skills+outfit+weave or you can compensate with the food to get level 4?
2) if frozen state ignore armor, why hitting components or weak points is better? My understanding just because of bonus damage on removing components?
3) corrosive state does not ignore the armor plates? I believe no point apply it over frost?
Thanks a lot!
Hey thanks! Glad to hear you’ve found my content helpful 😁 And great questions! Here are my answers:
1) Yes, you can sort of go past level 4, but it will give you no benefit, so it’s a waste to do so.
@@ArktixOfficial cool! Thanks for replying 🫡
This is a fantastic video. I have hundreds of hours of playtime, but this video provides a great refresher, as well as many new tips I might have glossed over before. Thanks for continuing to make such helpful content.
Hey thanks Shaz! Glad you were even able to pick up a few new things 😁 I appreciate your support! 🙏🏼
I played HZD and HDW since day one. But man.. your videos and how you explain everything and your calm voice. This channel is soooo underestimated!! Thank you for your research and time!
Hey thanks! Glad you enjoy my videos 😁 I appreciate your support!
I love people who are passionate about this franchise!
the fighting system is just sooo good
I do love it! ❤️🏹😁 And yes, the combat system is excellent 👌
@@ArktixOfficial I really don't get how people can be so negative in their criticisms against the combat system. It is by far the most thorough combat system I've played to date in an RPG. The only thing I can come up with is that they just haven't invested the time into learning it.
I’m a late arrival to this game, about 100 hours in with no guides but started watching your channel and having so many AHA moments with your videos!

Hey thanks a lot! I appreciate that 🙏🏼😁
Amazing breakdown, everything I needed to know since I was having trouble with the bigger machines.
Hey brother, I just wanted to say I hope your channel blows up even more when the game comes to PC. Your videos are the best.
Nice video. KEEP IT UP. ❤👍

Currently preparing for a ultra hard ng+ thank you so much for the help
Awesome! Glad you find my content helpful 😁 Enjoy your new playthrough!

Nice to see our work paid off! It is so much better than I expected. I know we only saw the drafts, but this is so much more! Like it better than what we wrote c:
Too bad the combat example had to be cut.
How you build up topic on topic in logical steps, i would swear it´s the DNA of the combat example !@@ArktixOfficial
I managed to take on an elite Stormbird plus an elite Dreadwing after watching this, thank you!
Hey Furious! Good to see you. And good tip 👍 Thanks for sharing it!
@@ArktixOfficial Hey Arktix! Keep up the good work!

This is a masterpiece of information, many thanks!
Oh wow, I actually didn't know that inflicting Acid increased the chance of Critical hits! Good to know for crit builds later in the game!
Thank you for the tips!!! I tryed playig years ago but didn't like it (I think because I only played BotW back then and loved parrys/flurry rushes, like they were my entire combat style. So I didn't like not having them). I want to try playing again now that I've played games without them, so these will be very helpful!!!

Great tips, just read them after i finished the main game ^^
The musical choices for "dancing" with machines and getting a machine naked (Careless Whisper) - 🤣 one reason among many why you are the GOAT!
Haha glad you liked those! 😁
Hey thanks a lot! Glad you’re enjoying the games and finding my content helpful 😁 Appreciate your support 🤜🤛🙏🏼
The devs should make a hold triangle option to automatically mark all parts on the machine you're scanning so that you can still tap for individual parts but hold to mark all.
Good idea! That would be really nice.
Can we get more machine hunting master class. I feel like in the early game I had no help. Having to figure everything out on my own
Which machines did you had trouble with?
It’s on my list to complete that series! 👍
Where did you get the horizon pillow and the poster with the tall neck from?? Also LOVE the video. Keep it up!!!
Hello!! I'm a big fan of your videos! Do you use something like kontrolfreek or any kind of accessory to improve the precision of your dualsense?
Fantastic job Chief! Well done 😁
Hey thanks Jerri! 😁
The answer to your question is yes. Yes, you do want to play again 😉😁
probably not lol
Thanks Arktix! Your videos are great. Very useful!
this video is awesome, really great content!
Thank you! Glad you liked it 😁
I was frustrating knowing that some important component required manually aim to strip it off (e.g.widemaw tusk right inside their mouth which destroyed after killed)
but after screwing around in setting, realized that i can use 'custom' difficulty and toggle easy loot so some components no longer destroyed after it died.
my life get easier after that 😅
But should your HFW Life be that easy?
i have zero confident in brawl so my play style is full on stealth, it took me 15 minutes or more to take down single thunder jaw, shell snapper or Mammoth thingy (1 shot make them yellow, wait till turn white and fire another shot, repeat until they're died)
now... my next job is hunt part of plowhorn to unlock it override...
oh--- boy, that thing surrounded by claw strider...
Thank you, I really needed this
Yes you know a lot about the game, but new player like me can't remember half of these. I would love see actual examples of combat sequence for each type of enemy with explanation along the way. Hope that gives you some idea for your next video. Appreciate it.
I have a whole series of videos on how to take down individual big machines. For example, “How to kill Shellsnappers”
