A 15 minute video with an hour of content, well done as usual Arctix and Team. Refreshing change from many RUclips videos with 2 minutes of info stretched to 10 minutes.
Thanks! Glad you felt it wasn't a bunch of fluff 😁 I do spend a lot of time making my presentation as efficient as possible because I don't want to waste people's time. I do worry sometimes that it could be too-much-too-fast though 😅
The stealth saga is complete! Congrats c: Great video. I didn't know humans were affected by the weather or time of day. Good to know. Still want to try it for myself, but I've noticed that the requirements/playstyle necessary to make stealth effective for UH mid-to-endgame increase a lot. Weapons need to be so much stronger to take enemies out fast enought to keep stealth at that point. It might still be good to use stealth as a better opener. Now I only use stealth for camps. Maybe I should look back into the ultimate stealth builds video to find a better winning strategy. Anyway. Happy that the video was finally released. The work you put into it really shows!
Low Profile 4 in Ultra Hard = No Stealth Skils in a normal game. HP increase to 294% and Tear to 250%. So Hitting Weakspot, or adding damage via componentn removal can be important. While the first hit won´t be free, you have often enough time to get a second shot (without Bonus though) off, before every enemy is alerted. And you need the Stleath Triangle: 1. Your starting Point for the Ambush. 2. Where tun run to break Line of Sight long enough to be able to hide. 3. How to get into the Hiding Spot (usually the Tall grass) to fully hide, prefarbly your new Point 1 again. The focus from "not be seens" becomes "not being alerted" and being seen can actually help to spread out machine heard or isolate a single machine. If all fails, Smoke Bomb!
It is so cool how rich this game is to the point that multiple strategies can work for different players; me in one hand, absolutely love tha "Silent Strike Heal" once I discovered that it basically gives me a large potion benefit without having to spend one. That enhences my survivability by a lot specialy when facing the most difficult machines. I really think players should look into it if they are more interested on play styles that leans more towards endurence and max health. I largely disagree with that being problematic, specially for players struggling with any difficulty in the game.
It´s problematic, with a Low Health Playstyle, context :-) With out it, it is fine, though suffers that most players, especially struggeling ones, are in stealth at the beginning of the combat, so at best, they get the Overheal once, but have to skill to level 4 for that. Below that, it´s only health, and more heatlh does nothing when at full health. And Smoke Bomb and Silent Strike to heal is already an advanced tactic. Still on my first VH playhtrough (2nd, no UH back then), i enjoyed in the beginning of the game.
Totally! Yeah the variety of viable playstyles is one of the things I love about Horizon. I may have been a bit harsh on Silent Strike Heal. It's not totally worthless. Like you explained, it can be used to increase survivability with the right build and tactics. I think to really make it the most useful it needs to be level 4 though, which is hard to achieve until later in the game. But it's certainly a mechanic you can leverage. In hindsight, maybe a should have spent a bit more time explaining that.
Man's spitting fire content as per usual, learned so much from all these vids and I gotta say that I didn't know weather a daylight/nighttime affected npcs, interesting. Fortunately you can overcome the silent strike heal by simply just ignoring both upgrades in the skill tree, since you can still fully upgrade the infiltrator tree even if you ignore those 2 specific upgrades, (same for the smoke bomb heal in the trapper tree since it's one of the last upgrades in the tree), that way if you want to leverage low health while being in stealth, none of those 2 things will ruin the low health.

The Horizon games are so good man the details and the world as a whole are just amazing and the combat while it could be more fleshed out with some form of blocking/parry system to help make it more viable on higher levels otherwise it's incredibly well thought out combat system focusing around weak spots and making sure you vary your gear and ammo types it's incredibly viable for nearly any style of play at any difficulty and Ultra Hard gives it that get good or die difficulty that perfectionist for this series cream over my only gripe is the DLC being PS5 exclusive and PS4 is missing out on some settings and mechanics compared to the PS5 version such as Sunwings being annoying af to fly and fairly buggy on PS4 or the auto collect feature that PS4 doesn't have so defined recommend getting a PS5 to experience it to the fullest I'm stuck on PS4 for a few months but I am on my second PS4 play through and this time going for Platinum
So many interesting new info from this! A little off topic but i remember turning on auto sprint like you suggested and its indeed a lot better. I've been playing a lot of RE4 remake and loving its control scheme so much, i'm trying to map sprint to R1 for this game but its just not working out LOL. Wonder if remapping controls is worth a video of its own.
I'm starting a new gameplay on PS5 finally after damn near a year. Just when I thought there was nothing else to learn about common parts of this game. Your raw content continues to be good, your production is getting slicker. Do you play Machine Strike or do you ignore it?
Hey Furious! Glad to hear you're jumping back into Horizon 😁 Hope you have fun! I'm not a big machine strike player, personally. I think it's cool, but I just enjoy other aspects of the main game so much that Machine Strike is always far down my list. Do you like it?
@@ArktixOfficial same here. I like the idea of Machine Strike. I gave it a go, but there wasn't enough of a payoff/incentive for me to 'git gud' at it.
Arktix what is ur favourite tenakht clan. KEEP IT UP 👍👍👍👍👍👍. GOOD MASTERCLASS VID ON A PLAYSTYLE BUT I STILL THINK THAT LOW HEALTH PLAYSTYLE IS MORE OVERPOWERDED
Thank you! And yeah, low health is definitely OP 😁 Favorite Tenakth clan? I think I'd have to go Sky Clan because I love the snowy mountainous biome (I also love the Bank). I also like Kotallo 😁 Although, I don't like the Sky Clan chief and they ALL need to learn proper cold climate attire from the Banuk 😂 Those goofballs are walking around is crop-tops and shorts in a freakin blizzard! 🥶
Also looking at the low health playstyle video, u said about a video about saving ourselves from some attacks. I will recomend making a video because some attacks are hard like the tremotusk swaying and all.
I have tried finding the answer to this online but haven't been successful....are there any levels in "the arena" that are stealth/ranged? I tried the initial level & it forces you on the ground & into melee pretty much the entire time. I'm a stealth/ranged ride or die.
Unfortunately, no. Every arena challenge requires you to fight machines head on. You can use smoke bombs, but that’s basically the only stealth mechanic you can utilize. It’s very much designed to force you into direct combat. I do have a guide for the arena if you need some pointers though!
Hi Arktix, great vid as always. But,,, I am surprised that you still don't like adhesive. Maybe they gave it a boost since you last tried it. It's not for every machine, but for some it's fun. On very hard I can stand face to face with a tremortusk, regular or apex, glue it up and stand there and dismantle it completely! It's one of my favorite ways to fight them, and through it all the tremortusk gets to do nothing but stand there. Easy way to get a ravengers gun off, after that it has no melee while glued. Adhesive does work, just not on all machines. I wish it worked on humans, it would just be funny to stick a bandit to a wall so you can casually walk up and critical strike him! Behemoth has no ranged, and they can't run away like they tend to do. Snakes tail easier to get at and it stays still for better canister access. Plus more.
@@paristeta5483 Sorry, not my thing. I only watch not create. I remember you, you spoke to me on discord the first time I was there. I'm not there anymore, deleted my account. I was only looking for HFW info, which there was not much there. Then I realized that it was a social media site, so with that and a bit of weirdness from Artix I chose to delete myself from it. Thank you for the bit of help you offered while I was there.
Do you think the Silent Strike Heal cancelling out the Low Health benefits is a Glitch? It seems pretty odd that it would affect the Low Health benefits at all. I don't see any reason why it should. Do you know why this happens? I admittedly LOVED this passive skill in my playthru as it was a very easy way to top off my health & even get overhealing in, in between tougher battles. I never use low health builds anyway, but even so it is pretty concerning that ALL Low Health benefits get cancelled out by this. I would love to know why... Seems very odd.
Really good video bro your content is top i wanted to ask im after the platinum trophy and i played in ultra hard my first time and i miss scanning the corruptors in that main story quest i dont want to do arena fights to get them there any way to fight these corruptors in dlc or new area
Thank you! I appreciate that 🙏🏼😁 Unfortunately, the only way to get the corruptor's scanned after missing them in the main quest is to get them in arena challenge. I do have a guide for the arena challenges if you need some help with them though!
@@ArktixOfficial oh thx for the info im try to watch the video and going to make a good build to beat the arena i beat the first 4 arena with a trap build i made but still i need to learn a lot
I think that I found out that when you use a weapon technique, the machine will automatically turn into combat mode. So it’s best to just shoot a regular shot
Kinda, weapon techniques may make the shot over the 35% HP Limit or make the attack a multi projectile attack or in in general on the rather unstealthy side, like Explosive (still enemies hear it and it might not put them in alerted state due that, other factors are needed for that).
Once again asking for a detailed breakdown of low health build with a spreadsheet or something because I suck at following videos and I would prefer to read it. Thanks
You need a guide for waiting and watching machines? Heared Arktix posted a Stealth Guide ;-) Joke aside, what kind of information would you want from a Machine Master Guide, besides buy Tenakth Tactician in Thornmarsh (and mabye that armor with the Repair skill on it to make it free).

It's on my list of videos to make! It will be relatively short, to be honest. Although, I'm considering combining it with mounted combat tips. Not sure if you would consider mounted combat part of the machine master playstyle?
@@ArktixOfficial I think combining them would be great and would make a lot of sense. I just love the content honestly man, I’ll eat up anything horizon related lol
If you mean in the focus, from yellow to pink : Hightlight them in the focus, mark them with triangle, will turn the yellow weakspot pinkish, meaning it stays highlighted, even without the focus, and does not need to be reapplied in combat.
I'm expecting that when HFW releases on PC, that interest in it will tick up again. I certainly expect to put in a LOT more hours in the game, both because PC is more accessible to me and because mouse/keyboard is my very preferred style.
I gotta disagree about Stealth Strike Heal not being useful. Being able to heal damage & even Overheal essentially for free & without needing to use Potions is pretty nice. I don't bother with Low Health buffs even tho I know they can be extremely potent. I'm just not comfy being at Low Health like that, so for me the Overheal is quite nice.
@ArktixOfficial What is it exactly that makes Silent Strike Heal interfere w Low Health builds? Just the fact that it takes you out of the low health state I assume?
Yup. I already replied to another one of your comments asking this question, but yeah it heals you out of the low health state, which of course deactivates the low health skills.
@ArktixOfficial Oh my badd, I didn't realize I had asked the same person more than once. I appreciate the response tho, that info will be helpful! At least I know now to reset my skills should I ever want to use Low Health buffs.
Lol I am legit really surprised that some of these weaker mechanics weren't fixed/adjusted via patches, such as Adhesive & Fire being all but useless now. They Nerfed Fire SO bad in this game, and I would have thought they would realize this & fix it eventually, but they never did. It just seems like some of the mechanics were poorly designed & I really don't get why they didn't fix them. Another is the Adhesive, which really isn't very helpful at all & not worth the ammo or resources. An effect needs to actually be worth your time in this game! They could have greatly boosted it's effects to make it worth using, but nope. Seems strange to me that they didn't address these things. ALL ammo and weapon types should be useful, but they aren't! Same with Tripcasters, they are SO WEAK now that they are all but useless. I really don't understand why they did this.

2:09 Did my first play through on ultra hard and was wondering why this was the case because it wasn't the same in ZD.
I wish they put more emphasis on strike from above and below. I'm almost done with the game and didn't even realize u could do that lol
Yeah exactly. I'd rather take down machines than push them around a board 😁
For me I like the Desert clan because they are more vicious
What do you think of stealth/Low Hp hybrid with Quen Deadeye armor and two Elite Low Health Ranged armor weave.
A Low health stealth range build
It´s great, as long as you not require a lot of stamina for weapon technique, which is it´s drawback.
Plus more.
Show! Don´t tell! No really, record those Fights for us and show us.
Thank you for the bit of help you offered while I was there.
amazing video! thank you! ☺
Thanks! Glad you liked it 😁 Hope you found it helpful!
Hey man, really cool video. Can you tell me where did you buy that longneck poster on your wall?
I’m considering doing a ng+ run but spear only that highly relies on stealth and spear combos
Yeass Rejoice!
Sometimes the quality of your image is different do you alternate between PS5 and pc when you do the videos? Just curiosity😅,or between tvs😅
Once the PC version came out, I started recording clips on PC, so maybe that’s the difference you’re seeing.
No problem! Hope you find the arena guide helpful. Good luck!
Thanks
drive.google.com/file/d/1zaHeZQ3rNNC_QJGQobktDANKIJcYA6wv/view?usp=drive_link Does that help?
Now we need the machine master video 😏
You need a guide for waiting and watching machines? Heared Arktix posted a Stealth Guide ;-)
Joke aside, what kind of information would you want from a Machine Master Guide, besides buy Tenakth Tactician in Thornmarsh (and mabye that armor with the Repair skill on it to make it free).

@@paristeta5483 haha I’m all jokes over here, mostly just kidding around honestly
It's on my list of videos to make! It will be relatively short, to be honest. Although, I'm considering combining it with mounted combat tips. Not sure if you would consider mounted combat part of the machine master playstyle?
@@ArktixOfficial I think combining them would be great and would make a lot of sense.
I just love the content honestly man, I’ll eat up anything horizon related lol
your videos are awesome TY
How long do those steath spore shroom things last? Same as Smoke Bombs aka 10 seconds?
What face paint is that and where do you get it?
In the thumbnail?
How do you put multiple weapons in one slot like having fire and acid together and such
Hey uhh how did u change your weakspot color??
If you mean in the focus, from yellow to pink : Hightlight them in the focus, mark them with triangle, will turn the yellow weakspot pinkish, meaning it stays highlighted, even without the focus, and does not need to be reapplied in combat.
@@paristeta5483 ohhh dude ive been searching how to change color for the past 4 days anyhow thanks for clearing it
@@HRDR01 Glad i could help 🙂
All-Mother bless you 🧡
Haha thanks! Hope you found these tips helpful!
at about 5 minutes in you mention another state, but i dont think i caught it in this video, maybe i missed it?
So I gotta ask, how exactly does silent strike heal affect the low health boosts?
It heals you out of the low health state, which deactivates the low health boosts.
@ArktixOfficial 9:54 do valor surge and/or food stack with low health range? as well as any or yet all stealth range damage boost
Yup
we need more videos about horizon. please
I've got plenty more Horizon vids on my list to make! 👍
I'm expecting that when HFW releases on PC, that interest in it will tick up again. I certainly expect to put in a LOT more hours in the game, both because PC is more accessible to me and because mouse/keyboard is my very preferred style.
I sure hope so! It will be fun to connect with a bunch of new people playing the game 😁
Yeah if you don’t like leveraging low health skills/playing the low health playstyle, then Silent Strike Heal can be nice.
@skins4thewin No problem 👍 Yeah you can always reset skills.
Hey arktik can you make a resource farm video please 😊
The toy bow should have a 0.0001% chance to do 10000000 damage. Am I right or am I right?
12:38 adhesive slander😢 its true though
03:01 lmao
😁
Yo bro did you played the God of War Ragnarok DLC for Free?😏 You can also make some tips and tricks video about it's DLC🌚
Not yet! But I'm diving in soon.
Best Game
Haha yes! 😁
❤❤❤
Cant get why they`ve removed lure skill, it was useful (
Yeah kinda wish it was still there, but like I showed, it is a bit redundant with rocks.
@@ArktixOfficial rocks feel a lot slower tho, gonna try using boomsling instead👌
Play Avatar frontiers of pandora pls 😊
