Exactly, they need to let us at least lock the turret to its forward facing position to use it as a main gun like it did in real life.

Frost the D30 is no where near a good climber, the only strong point is the amazing speeds at ground level and energy retention. It also goes to pilot to pilot, still it’s a decent plane not the best.
@@polaskatyu9368 This is why you always side climb with the P51D30, sure it won't compete with 109s especially the K4 in climb but can't turn as good as the mustang. I know the P51 can outturn 109s because i tried it myself.

Why is there NO mentions of the Helldiver (SB2C-4), F6F-5N, any of the P-51s or the F-82E Twin Mustang?
Because the p-51 is overpowered and they know they'd get nothing but hate for praising it. I don't know about the others

@TheDavid p51h must always be played as energy fighter. it's unmatched by any prop in the game in that regard even agianst the griffons. at dive you can easily catch early jets and when they panic and turn, they're dead 100%. it's OP in the hands of those who mastered prop aircrafts and energy fighting.
Gaijin, as a player who has a Crew with an Ace Qualification for the SB2C-4 Helldiver, I’m disappointed that you never mentioned it
Clear sign that Gaijin got no idea how to grind in this game
1) No Mustangs must be a joke; They are relatively good for their Br and nobody mentions them,
2) Why would anyone picks B-29 for this video? B-17E is the only money maker even with that horrible Br
3) Where is Cannon Corsair?
MrBeattBox not to mention the P-61 is way too fragile with any shots taking out its tail control almost instantly every time. Yes it's gunner is amazing but has pretty bad line of sight and people always come from below forcing you to maneuver instead of us it. It also doesn't let you fix the top gun forward like some would do but that's just a cool thing it's missing so not a huge fault with aircraft itself.

Best advice I can give to new US players
-Get a plane with a lot of Guns and Ammo (Any Premium P47 is perfect)
-focus on Attackers/Bombers If you cant Dogfight
-Play REALISTIC, REALISTIC, REALISTIC, Arcade RP is minuscule compared to RB
Update 2020:
-Small Pillboxes,SPG and Light tanks are easy money makers

-I have abandoned the game since October 2020. After Tier IV grind is simply too much.
kasra khatir I agree with everything you said. If you can dogfight, get a higher alt, and go for heavier fighters, as Americans are heavier planes.

At 5:57 you can see the MiG misses every shot by a country mile. Yet the wing of the F-84 gets torn off. Superior quality as always Gaijin... really shows how much effort you put into your game.

I remember spending literal years with that P-40E, at first I disliked it but after year 2/3 it started to grow on me and now I appreciate her more than a woman. P-40 gang for lyfe.

that was sort of the straw that broke the camels back for me with fighters. my last match as a fighter I literally pumped half my ammo into a single enemy and he was unharmed. He shot a few round in front of me and I died a few seconds later without my aircraft taking any damage. I hunted him down for revenge, emptied ALL my ammo into him, rammed him, died, he got the kill for me dying, I didnt get the kill for him dying, I quit playing fighters.

F4u Corsair will always be my favorite prop driven fighter. Just ahead of A6m Zero, the P 51 Mustang, and the Fw 190.

I really love the a-26, probably one of the toughest planes in the game ! It can literraly fly without it's tail, by using the flaps as elevators !

I like the XP55. She is fast and holds the speed quit well in a turn. Besides her canons and maschineguns in the nose make this aircarft into a sniperrifle 😉
I feel the B-34 deserves a brief mention as well. It doesn’t have a huge payload for its BR, but it performs on par with the Bf-110C, with a nastier turret and higher airspawn
The A26 Attack aircraft is my all-around favorite US aircraft. It's great for attacking ground targets and works well as a base bomber, and has very good defensive armament, too. My next best US aircraft is the P51 Mustang - all variants.
US planes are nice, but with such a heavy focus on teamwork I suggest to any new players to avoid them until you get used to Boom and Zoom and find some good squad mates
@@yoshuaperez6318 given my experience against Germany, and their incredibly stacked line up, I have to disagree. Every time I play in US, we lose. Often times in the first minutes. The Germans outclimb us every time, and the plane diversity works against us because so many planes with varying capabilities mean we can rarely fly cohesively. The Ju 288C definitley hasn't made my games fun, and the new Amerika Bomber isn't bringing out any interesting game mechanics on either side's part.

Imagination Is Power by the way dude, if there was an anti ship missile that sunk a US carrier with US sailors on board, ICBM’s would almost be guaranteed, and the nuclear option could be on the table. The US wouldn’t just stand by and watch their navy get destroyed.
I can't recommend ignoring a nation you will meet in a battle over and over again. I would encourage all new players to also spade US aircraft - one of the quickest ways to learn about them before you meet them in battle and lose because you had no respect for them. US aircraft is my choice when I want to repeatedly appear in the top 3 on my team's (all spaded aircraft with max crew due to how much I play them) battle list.
How sad do you have to be to spend your entire day spitting out claims that nobody cares about
honestly with the right pilot the P51, P51D-5, P51D30 and especially the P51H you could be LITERALLY untouchable. Corsairs are amazing too but with the P51 you just cant beat it if you know what you're doing at your BR.
"Strike aircraft" Yeah that pretty much sums up what the devs think planes are for. Explains a lot about air RB.
They didn't even mention America's two best props.
PBJ-1H is one of the best ground attackers I’ve played so far, the 75mm with AP rounds is amazing vs hard targets (put is lacking when versing ships), and the Armored Targets belts for the turrets is amazing for planes that sit right at your rear trying to shoot you down. Depending on the map I can usually get 1-2 Aircraft kills as well as around 7-13 Ground kills.
I would play the B-29 almosr every day if the repair cost wssn't that high, it's such a good aircraft.....

A-36 Apache the 10 50 Cal's you can use rip apart eveeything
i used to play a 36 sometimes ago and never forget the experience. lots of guns in a relatively agile plane
probably my favorite part of any american WW2 vehicle is that whenever the military or designers run into an issue they're solution is usually to slap another 50 cal on it until it stops running into issues. It's like the military had too many 50 cals so they ordered their designers to find a place to hide them all.

Apache is one of my favorite planes to use, historically it was a P-51 modified for ground attack, so it has the ability to dogfight as well as the P-51 (in the cockpit it is IDed as a P-51B) and the gun pods are devastating in Air AB
P-63C-5: The Potassium Plane
I remember getting my first wildcat in 2012 since i played battlestations when i was even younger, liked the dauntless and avenger as well.
some good supersonic fighters you can add to rank 6 is for example the skyhawk, f-8 crusader and corsair 2 and maybe the f-104 starfighter
Will we ever see air to air refueling in war thunder? I think They could add interesting dynamic to maybe simulator battles. Especially with the bigger maps that higher br jets get. Thoughts Gaijin?

You need to add the North American F4-J Fury. It's a variant on the F-86 Sabre fighter, but armed with four 20 mm cannon instead of six .50 caliber machine guns. It was used by the US Navy. I saw one in the Evergreen Air And Space Museum in Oregon where they keep Howard Hughes's H-4 Hercules Transport, better known as the Spruce Goose.

(Quick disclosure: as I am showing these bombers. The B-17 is my favorite)
RANK III
Two B-17 flying Fortresses are heavy bombers with a crew between 9-10, 7 are gunners with 6 12.7mm guns, and 1 7.62mm gun EACH
RANK IV
The B-17G-60-VE is a heavy Bomber with a crew of 10 with 9 12.7mm Guns
The B-24D-25-CO is a heavy Bomber with 8 12.7mm guns
The B-29A-BN is a Heavy Bomber with remote controlled turrets with 5 12.7mm guns

Hi Gaijin, could you make a video(or just implement it in one) someday where you explain how the tow hook works. Many times tanks just end up pulling each other around the with it, once a tank is turned upside down. It seems like many people don't know that you can actually control with your aim marker where the tow hook shall attach to the other tank so that you have the optimum point to pull at when you want to flip a tank back on its tracks:)

In my opinion, i like the p-36G best. It has good speed and climb, good guns and good turn. Plus you can do (what i call) a “super turn” using the good flaps to turn super quickly. It can out turn a hurricane and they dont even expect it

@@user-el8kx7qd2r which is why its great at killing bombers that AREN'T the me 264. also they forgot to mention that it CAN fly home missing an entire wing. if you lose your wing and the stump is fine you can fly home and land safely, just stay around 310-330 kph, and if you can , do deploy your landing gear. trust me, i once died in game twice, and managed to kill three people. because i got wing sniped twice and landed safely

I haven’t been able to buy any of the jets added after November 2018 because of how expensive the repair costs are for my jets. Thanks... I had managed to climb to the top of the American plane ladder in a month back in late 2018, but then those repair costs hit me like a truck and I’ve been 300,000 short of moving on to the next plane ever since.

I seem to be a good pilot of the thunderbolt when i mainly use it in combined. If i have a good day and focus i will dominate the sky in that thing.
I did a test flight with my cousin on the black widow, set the convergence to the longest distance as there are no wing guns.
