These lyrics are beautiful. They are so ugly they are beautiful. I mean, it's not even an actual propaganda of atheism, it's not what this song is about (even though I would love it just that way, because I clearly don't believe in God). This song is about the fact that some people have gone crazy about religion and they forget about their own power of will. They just rely on their "savior", some "faceless" guy, who's gonna come and save them from their addiction (a dozen steps and 28 days is about the rehab program) or whatever. People have a right to believe in God and I respect all the Christians or other religious people unless they forget about their own personality and the fact that no matter what they should still rely on themselves and believe, first of all, in themselves, and only after that - in their God. So, all things considered, it's more a song about how Oli is angry about people who don't believe in themselves, not about people who believe in God.

I love BMTH not only because of their sound, which is amazing, but also because they speak the truth, in my opinion. I believe in their lyrics, they are my thoughts and I'm proud of screaming along. I'm Christian and I like this type of music. I have to admit it. Many Christians are closed minded and really strict with music, appearance, etc. Is really sad to me that many people of my faith, are really annoying and act very stupid. I call them fanatic, because they judge the people who aren't Christians or they think they aren't a true Christians. I have to deal with them, because my likes make me "Satanic or a fake Christian". But no, I'm 100% sure of my faith. Is sad because they are a lot of Christians that act like a "saint" but no. I have to said that I respect the different religions and faith. And maybe not all Christians thinks like me. And they makes a bad reputation about Christians. They force people to become a Christian, but that's a big mistake. And maybe Oli met a Christian likes them. And makes Oli uncomfortable and mad. And they fucked everything again. Not every Christian is like them. But I know thats why everyone doesn't like us. I was raised as a Christian. Church every Tuesday,Wednesday, and Sunday. Then one day I made a new friend, she didn't believe in "God". I questioned it at first, but I liked her in the end. My family hated her guts because she didn't believe in "God". Well so of course I stopped hanging out with her. A year later made another friend the same way. But she was also raised in a church, but heard Bring Me The Horizon and she said it opened her eyes about everything. So of course I look them up. I've been listening 24/7 to BMTH. I'm torn in two. I'm not sure what to believe in anymore. I'm overly confused.

He's not struggling with faith or believing in prayer. Any references to that are only mocking references. he's mocking the whole idea of it all. That's why he says "fuck your faith" right after "Hallelujah i'm saved, it's a miracle! thank you jesus!" He's just being sarcastic. It's actually kinda funny. Awesome and meaningful song.
Kallic its hilarious that religious people keep saying this songs about christ....in the comments there are so many idiots and its pretty funny. the songs very anti religion and people keep saying they love this song and their Christians and im like their idiots😂

I love the thrill that was put on this particular album.
I believe that no matter what style they sing, we always see good works with very powerful songs with strong lyrics and emotions inserted in each
