Not a pure fanboy of BMTH but if people had to vote worldwide and that Sempiternal hit the first rank for the "Album of the year" in every single country, I'd have to say that it deserves its title 100 times and a thousand more. That's a no brainer masterpiece for me and I was far from being convinced by the previous albums

okay... first of all, he does not "screamo" scream. Screamo screaming is much different from metalcore/metal screaming. And second I do agree with you. Oli has a unique voice that gives the songs much more meaning. In my opinion anyway

Wasn't that huge of a fan for their first couple of albums... mostly just liked select songs here and there. Pretty much dig this whole album. They've matured as a band and sound more "grown up" I guess. Love it.

Oli's vocals have improved so much for this album. He's simply an amazing artist, along with the whole band. Such a talented band.
I can clearly remember the day this album came out, i was 13 and already a huge bmth fan. After ten years of listening at each song i get the same goosebumps, by that time i wasn't able to understand how innovative and cutting Edge this album was. At 24 i can tell that this Is one of the best album of the entire music history.
I'm a pretty big fan of the rest of Sempiternal but not given the entire album a listen and now this is stuck in my head after seeing them live last week
The fact that they have awesome artwork for every song is amazing.

My favorite song on this album. I wish they would of done a music video for this and Hospital for Souls. Hospital is my second favorite. It's like a heavy ballad. If that makes any sense.
