Ratchet and Clank has been a mainstay franchise in the Sony consoles for 4 different console generations. The games have managed to stay relevant and have become extremely loveable in recent memory due to the great two new releases for the PS4 and PS5. I'm really impressed with how well the first three R&C have aged. One of my favorite series ever. My favorite R&C is *Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal.* I love this game.
Oh! My fav has to be locked and loaded!
I prefer the original game of the ps2 saga
Mine was A Crack In Time
Deadlock has to be my favorite RaC game.
Now imagine a R&C game with the visuals of Rift Apart, the music and plot of Going Commando + Up your Arsenal, and the action from Deadlocked. Plus the customizable armor with perks from Size Matters. Now THAT is a game i would play for ages

@@ahmedf4523 You never know, Insomniac is the kind that listens to its fans. Perhaps after a while, when all the reviews and comments on what Rift Apart did right and wrong, that a new and much longer game is released🤷🏼♂️
@@korg3597 I don't know. Even though Rift Apart was a step up from 2016, it still pretty much had characters with dull personality, cinematic music, and was pretty short. I can only hope but the previous three games were pretty much bland to me. Nice games, just no personality and doesn't hold up to the originals.
@@ahmedf4523 Completely agree with you. The sense of adventure and good plot the first three had was something else. I think the developers in Insomniac knows this aswell, but in order to please all the "new" fans in a much younger generation (with much shorter attention span), they have to make a game that is bland and dull, just to satisfy their needs… Even the quirky humor from the past games is much better than in the new games.
And the open world of crack in time
This saga continues even after the years, Insomniac Games could leave the saga and make new IP'S but they continued with it showing the love they have for this one :')
Playstation is synonymous with R&C
There was a IP for a other game from imsomniac back in day but microsoft and sony are both to stupid to let them make a part 2

Secret agent clank had like 4 playable characters: Clank, ratchet, quark and clank’s lil army. Loved it🔥
Rift apart’s ratchet reminds me of the old trilogy. Design wise.
I remember seeing the commercials for the first game back in 2002. It was so different from most other games which I played at the time and I was very excited for it. Turns out that it was the beginning of a great series!

Kinda of a damn shame how the story and especially Ratchet's Personality just keeps on getting downgraded and went down the hill ever since his PS3 reboot...

Size matters on the psp started it all for me. I still have it to this day. I also have 2016 ratchet and clank remake and rift apart for the ps5.
I need to replay these games again
The classic games (1 until deadlocked) are my absolute favs.

I remember Playing this on my ps3 it was so fun but i remember the Hard one with the Robot Thing? Yeah i got raged and i got sad that i didnt go to the other Checkpoint so it was gone and i was sad

I remember playing the first game the year it came out. Recently I just played rift apart. Makes me feel old. But im glad this series is still going and still great fun.
I was so happy to see RIft Apart is a good Game... At least the current entrypoint is not a successfull failure as the Reboot oon PS4.

No, because that stuff was already done a lot of times. It would be boring and lazy to just continue with the same type of villains and conflicts about "evil corps". If they ever make a game like that again, they should focus on the other side of the coin this time and make games based on communist dictatorships and show how collectivist societies with no business or private property can also be hellish and turn their people miserable.

I love RaC, I've grown up with the PS2 Games and still play them today a few times per year.
But All4One, Q-Force and the PS4 Reboot was a hard downer, but god bless us, Rift Apart brought it to NEW glory... Yeah the Style is not the same, it is like the PS3 games but better.
Compared to the PS4 Reboot, I defenetly recommend Rift Apart... I am just sad, I won't be able to afford a PS5 n the next years.

That's exactly what Ratchet: Deadlocked is. Ratchet: Gladiator is the Europe/PAL version. It's the same game, just a title change.
It's also similar for Spyro 2: Ripto's rage/Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer, in a way.

Evolution of mobile racing games
OG trilogy & Deadlocked with edgy Ratchet is still the best🎉. I like the new games, but the childlike dialogue does not fit the underlying mature tone of the Solona Galaxy...kill or be killed like it's the wild wild west! I guess that's what saved it from the fate of the Jak&Daxter series though...gone too soon😭.
