Now, they have moved into a different category of pricing and I think that’s why they’re just sitting there. I would love to have one because in person these cars are hot but I could never allow myself to pay that much for one. ✌🏻
Back in 2017 I purchased a brand new 392 Challenger Hemi ScatPack Shaker that was fully loaded. Only options it lacked was a sunroof and leather seats. I paid $46k out the door. Right before the young kids made them the “Hot cars” and the price shot through the roof. I sold it in 2020 for a profit…. The problem with these cars (Chargers and Challengers) is that there are TOO MANY out here where you can’t tell the difference between a SRT and an R/T. The V6 cars look damn near identical to the high performance ones. Only if it’s a wide body can you instantly tell it’s not a 5.7 or V6
You can’t compare 2016 prices to now. Never heard of inflation? Yes these dealerships are greedy but prices now are dropping. I just picked up an RT Plus with a $14k discount and paid $39k. Is it cheap ? NO but better than $53k!!!!!

Best daily driver I ever owned! 300 hp is more than enough for it's intended mission. No regrets! Car listed for $43,025.Out the door, down the road, ALL in I paid $41K. He's a keeper!

I ordered my hellcat widebody challenger for 79k fully loaded in 2018. I was thinking about getting a 23 hellcat widebody for the updates and new uconnect but to buy the exact same car I already have they wanted 99k. Insane. Decided to keep my paid off 2018. Glad I did.
Actually the price increase isn't Dodge's fault,the car is 100% inflation...Try understanding inflation and use a inflation calculator...79k in 2018 is 97k in 2023..The extra 2k is the widebody price vs non wide body..

Wrong. My '23 Charger has the "PLUS" package with the upgraded interor. Leather/Alcantera , heated and cooled , 10 way adjustable electric seats ( on both sides), leather covering the armrest up to the top of the door in leather. Stitched "leather" covered dash, alum pedals, etc. Awesome interior lighting!!, including lighted cup holders, front floor areas, door pull handles,bottoms of the doors, projector lights in the door mirrors, electrical outlet in the center console, etc. The interior in the PLUS package car is pretty impressive! Very comfortable too. I now have over 800 miles on it and not a single squeek or rattle.
Not to mention they are now a year older you can get a brand new 24 Mustang GT convertible loaded for about 60k. if you want one, wait for the fire sale they can't hold on to them for ever.
They are still selling last year Vipers as new. They didn't go down in price. These Challengers and Chargers will only go up in value as it sinks in they are the last of them.
