    Step by step, Very Easy
    This will fix ALL the problems with the Samsung fridge -
    Ice maker stopped.
    Water in the fridge.
    Fan Noise.
    It does not self defrost.
    Super easy to fix ALL.
    Follow me fix my fridge while U fix yours.
    U just need a copper wire.
    Samsung refrigerators stop defrosting properly and ice builds up and then the fan can’t go around without hitting ice and when the ice gets built up even more than the fan will actually stop. It can’t spin so refrigerator will build up water at the bottom of it. So watch this video and follow it along with me and you can just pause the video and follow my instructions as I defrost this Sampson refrigerator, and clean out all the hunks of ice around the fan and then I add a piece of copper. It’s also nice to clean the refrigerator as you go along and put all the stuff back.

    I had this exact same fridge. Had repairman come out 3 times. He said Samsung does not stand behind their products. He was clearly not a fan. Kinda wish I'd seen this first, but we got a new fridge about a year ago and have had no other problems. It's a smaller fridge than this, but it's a nice Whirlpool one. So far, so good, but I'll save this video just in case. Thanks for sharing! (incidentally, I found you by searching for down jacket repair, which I'll be doing in a minute, lol)

      No there’s not an outlet in there or anything like that don’t worry. It was hard to show cause it was such a small area in the back of the fridge. Shine a flash light down there and see.

    If you are having the same problem I would suggest that you watch as many videos about the problem as you can. I have done many of the things suggested. I have set and watched several of these clips and have made a list and I'm going to make one more effort to fix this problem. I have added the extra heater, and added the T-clip. Some things I am going to try (because why not at this point) I'm going to put Pam cooking spray to the upper right area where the ice gets the thickest. I'm going to put new rubber foam tape around the Styrofoam on the panel after I make sure the foam is completely dry. I'm also going to tilt the front just a bit higher than the back of the fridge. Plus I'm going to add the wire down the drain hole sort of like in this video. Plus anything else that I can as I'm still looking at videos about this problem. After I try these things and I still have a problem I'm going to suck it up and get rid of this headache once and for all. I thought this fridge was going to be fantastic with the dual icemakers that never have worked right (another story) but I was so wrong. Sorry this was so long but I hope it helps someone.

      The freezing in the upper right is warm air coming in from the cut outs where the copper pipes come in. Defrost the area, remove all that foam and tape and apply spray foam in the holes and cover the pipes a bit. This will stop the freezing up there. I am a chef and the coolers at work would freezer up like this when the coils needed to be cleaned. The fridge is the same. It sucks in air to circulate air in the fridge. Pull your fridge out I bet the vents where is sucks in air are covered in dusk. I checked the vent on the side and it was covered in dust and lint. Unplug or turnoff the fridge. I took off the metal cover on the back on the fridge and the coil were covered lint and dust there also. I cleaned them with a small broom and vacuumed them. I then defrosted all the fridge. Hopefully with the coils and vents cleaned it will not freeze up again any time soon. I am going to clean the vents and coils once or twice a year from now on.
    Hopefully this help someone like it did me.

    • @AmusingMichele
      @AmusingMichele  Год назад

      That sounds like it definitely could be helpful but this needs a bigger coil so it gets the message that it needs to defrost so just go find a nice copper wire and coil it up And put it where I show you in this video. Then it should be able to defrost the refrigerator properly and so I won’t have an increase of a switch would hit the fridge fan and make the refrigerator fan noise.

    I had 4 repairs. Humidity causes freeze up on the heater. After numerous approaches. The only 1 that worked as a permanent fix is foam wide thick weather strip. The 1 video I saw placed it inside of the plastic panel. I decided to place it on edges 360 in front of the panel. Meaning when u open the refrigerator u will see the weather stripping. Who cares if u see it. It will save u from constantly dealing with this crap!!

    Had this same issue. Samsung factory had the black foam insulation sheet over the drain so water had to drip through it.
    Also clean the coil area back behind the bottom panel with compressed air especially if compressor is noisy. Last thing is the yellow temp sensors go bad so change it. It’s cheap.

    I remember back in the early 90s is when i first heard of samsung. Me and my wife were still teenagers and we were out buying our first t.v.and vcr. we werent well off at the time by any means. So i considered buying samsung but they were considered a budget brand. So being sceptical i spent the extra money and got a magnavox t.v. and an rca vcr. The t.v. died just a little over a year later. Just out of reach of being able to return it. So this time I bought the samsung and i have no idea when or if it ever died because it lasted me years until i was able to afford a bigger t.v. and got rid of that 1. No idea what i did with it but im sure it brought years of entertainment to the new owner. You just never know with electronics. Ever since then,30 years later i go for the cheaper one. Ofcourse now samsung isnt known as a budget brand. So i dont buy them anymore. Ha. Just kidding. I bought their fridge. Lol

    I used to use hot water to melt the ice faster. Back in the 80s every freezer needed defrosting atleast twice a year. I knew this dude that would use something sharp to hack away at the ice and 1 day he hit something that wasnt meant to be hit by a sharp object with a downward thrust. Haha.

    I just unplugged my samsung to defrost a little ice build up and I had to hold down a couple buttons simultaneously to get it working right. Yet ive never had to do this after a power outage. Why is that and why is there even an option to shutoff energy saver? If it saves energy,then wouldnt you always want it left on? Ha.

    • @AmusingMichele
      @AmusingMichele  3 года назад +1

      exactly right

    • @darinsmith9468
      @darinsmith9468 2 года назад +3

      The energy saver is there to allow them to meet energy star requirements. 1st thing you should do is turn it off because the way it saves energy is to reduce defrost cycles. 90% of the problems on modern fridges are due to design changes to meet energy star requirements. The other 10% are due to the French door design, which puts the ice maker in the fridge rather than the freezer. Top/bottom and side-by-side units didn’t have these issues because the ice maker was in the freezer.
