I found you by searching for Greek yogurt recipes. Oh my goodness...hands down you have THE best instant pot cooking channel and blog. You explain everything so well and I love that you use normal everyday pantry ingredients. Now the only problem I have is deciding which recipe to cook first. Thank you!!!!
Of all the many, many instant pot and slow cooker channels out there, yours is my absolute favorite. Your recipes are more creative (and doable) than most and I like your no nonsense instructions. My only complaint is the volume levels between your segments. Maybe use the microphone consistently?

At 15:46 you mentioned 1 minute per ounce, and set to 12 mins.
1 pound chicken is 16 ounces, or 16 minutes?
I always overcook chicken breasts in my IP and they dry out!

Just tried the Tuscan chicken with my new model IP. I replaced the cc with Greek yoghurt ,drained diced canned tomatoes and dry basil and roasted garlic. Delicious. Great videos!

I was amazed that even though each chicken breast was 14 ounces you only calculated 14 min plus 3 minutes for extra tender. I would have thought you would have figured 14 x 3 plus 3 minutes. I still have so much to learn. Thanks for this video.

Oops I just put the links in! Sorry about that! I have a lot of drawers and space in the kitchen so I keep everything put away it its spot. I am so lucky! I know many do have as much storage as me.
I brought one a while ago and haven’t cooked one thing in it that I’ve been happy with. Even following recipes to the letter. Starting to wish I hadn’t brought it.

A tiny tip for you & anyone else who uses the thick jar version of "Better than Bouillon" product... So much of it gets wasted using a measuring spoon & then, a knife or.... to put that into your IP. The measurement & difference would be negligible.... just scoop out about " 'ehhhh, this much" whatever might be needed for a recipe, onto your teaspoon itself (or tablespoon) MUCH easier to get that off, can use a tiny corner of a spatula OR.... just stir into the liquid until cleaned off & most is IN the recipe.... (rather than left on your measuring spoon) 1 tsp, 1 teaspoon.... for that product, close enough. Under, over.. won't matter much, ya know? :) ENJOY.... Thanks for sharing all these yummy recipes. That last one, a great inclusion, of course. Well done, Reagan! ~ Stay safe & be well.

For the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta - would the cooking time/natural release time change if the chicken is frozen?
Thank you for showing me the silicon mat cut into thirds, I hadn't thought of that just yet. But I have a small instant pot and I bought a silicon thingy that said it's for multiple sizes but unfortunately it doesn't fit into my pot, which was a birthday gift. I'm still trying to find recipes that I can make. I'm not sure yet if halves will work? Maybe thirds of the recipes will fit in my pot. I've wondered how this machine will affect my power bill? I've typically used crock pots in previous years when I had a family to feed at home.

Cream cheese will never ever melt completely. A tip to help it is to whip it up in the bowl before adding it to the food. That way you have introduced air which makes dissolving a whole lot better otherwise you get tiny white lumps!
You can see visible soil on fresh mushrooms, which should be rinse thoroughly before using
Noticed you have more than one Instant Pot. I have 2 Duos. One about 5 years old and a new one. They cook differently. I experimented with one cup cold water for 2 minutes high pressure natural release. The new one released in 12 minutes. The old one took 20 minutes for natural release. Then I boiled an egg. I usually go with 1 cup cold water, 2 minutes and a 12 minute release, because that's when my new one releases anyway. I manually release the old one at 12 minutes. The egg in the new one is perfect. The egg in the old one is still runny in the middle.I would think that if both come to pressure, the temperature is the same and the natural release time would be the same. Not so. Guess I'll just stick with the new one and get to know it.

Im brand new to instant pots. @42:51 are you saying bird signal or maybe burnt or burned signal? My MIL gave me her instant pot (w/out the manual) and I’m trying to figure it out by watching YT vids. Mine says IP-DUO up top. Im lost. I don’t know if this is important or not but i think it’s missing the condensation cup…does it matter? Can i use w/out it? Or perhaps rig my own? In 25+ videos I’ve only seen one person even mention this cup. This is so confusing. Tips from anyone are welcome. If I’m using boneless chicken breasts should they be partially frozen?

just got my first instant pot.....i have an older pressure cooker i have used many times..but now i wanted a smaller one to take on the rd..in our trailer rd trips...i have a 3 qt size...are all your recipes for the larger ones..? I just may pyrchase your cook book if you include 3 qt size recipes w/o having to cut recipes in half...thnx for your time & good videos!!

Natural release is you don't set your pot to venting. I've just gotten an instant pot and learning

Unless it's ready to go off or gone off that half and half will not curdle in hot liquid. Think for a second. We dump half and half from the fridge into a blazing hot cup of coffee everyday and it doesn't curdle unless it's no good. :-) I would use heavy cream I don't like this home version anybody's of zuppa Toscana. Thing is Olive garden isn't even close to Italian food and I lived in Italy. Now I would kill for this salad and breadsticks but the rest of it I really don't care for. I used to love when they ran the soup salad and breadsticks deal and I would give my soup to my best friend and I shared the breadsticks. ;-)

I’m wanting to purchase the kindle version of your book but I wanted to ask if there are any disadvantage to buying the ebook? You mentioned in the hard copy there are QR codes. In the ebook will there be clickable links? I’ve never bought a kindle cook that has QR code’s.
The ebook is simply the hard copy as a pdf type of document. There are QR codes but not clickable. You could scan them with a phone though.

Hi, every time I make rice it seems to come out all sticky even Basmati in my instant pot. What am I doing wrong? I do equal water with rice and cook on manual pressure high for 6-8 mins and let the pressure decrease naturally. If anyone knows or has tips? I'd appreciate it.

@@tammypetry3080 Cauliflower rice is cauliflower diced to resemble rice. If you bake it or fry it up it takes on a nice neutral toasty flavor making it a great super low calorie sub for white rice. IMO works best with very flavorful foods. It's very worth exploring the option. I have bags of frozen cauliflower rice that I toss in the microwave before drying out in the skillet. Very easy to cook

Yes you can. Pressure is the same in all pressure cookers. Insta pot is just a pressure cooker. Just use her times to do your recipes. I have a wolf gang pressure cooker and I can do these recipes too.the pressure release is different. Release your pressure a bit more gradually maybe.

Can you use condensed cream soups in the instaPot?

The fist recipe the chicken didn’t look fully cooked. And, i have the hardest time getting a tender chicken from my IP I
follow the recipes to the letter and most are with frozen chicken, again following rules for frozen. It tastes rubbery. 🙁 Can anyone offer a suggestion for tender chicken outcome🙏🏼
