Hey folks - the noise in the shed when we were working in the video was INCREDIBLY loud - we could barely hear ourselves think - which is why there’s so much music on the video. It was either this or just not upload it at all … personally I love the music anyway - but we’re all different 😊

This channel looks more evil than the entire MCU villains. There is nothing to explain how these cows are always horrible except him not taking care of his farm at all. Leaving nails here and there. Poor hygiene which causes lots of infections. Etc.
Nicely done, guys. Personally, I think it’s quite refreshing the way you sometimes do long story-like videos featuring the surrounding land, roads, and farms. And other times you bring it down very close and quiet with just the hooves and voiceovers and music. Variety is the spice of life! 🐄😊👍🏼
As others said your videos are strong therapy to depressed or anxious mind. Now I feel calm. The only thing left is to be able to go sleep as well, so I go watch couple more. :) It's really your personality and your mates' and also shared love for animals and giving the best care you can for every single cow. As we can clearly see people love it. :)

If/when a cow stops producing the required amount of milk, she'll be sent for slaughter.
Very often that's when she reaches 3 years of age.

Just a suggestion... background music should be faded into the "background" when you're narrating. It was very difficult to hear what you were saying when the music was playing.

I'm autistic and the random singing springing up can really throw me off and make me anxious, weird as it sounds. So you're not alone!

I like the music, Graeme! What would help me is tweaking the balance betweenthe volume of the music & the volume of your voice. The volume of your voice was much lower than the volume of the music, so when I got your voice just right, I jumped 🫨when the music came back in. Despite this small inconvenience, I thought the music was beautiful, you were a genius helping this cow out, and the cow was lovely! 🐄❤ Thanks for another great video!

Hey, I'm just curious what is the function of the little nubs above the heel that you quickly trimmed down at the end? Are they similar to dew claws on a dog? Also, do all cows have them?
Yes. Graeme has said in previous videos that those are dewclaws.
They are exactly that and are also called dew claws! I believe all cows have them but sometimes they grow very large & have to be trimmed. Horses sometimes have something similar near their hooves but they are referred to as ergots 👍

I think the balance is good. Very professional and great taste in music for these kind of videos. It's the ones that have rave music in them that I steer clear of, or that dreadful AI woman's voice over everything.

I tell ya u guys are awesome. Because I watch these videos, I was able to (dont laugh), identify I had an absess on my toe...I saw the side of my toe looked weird. Immediately thought of u. Of course, the junk came out the top of my toe when I pushed on the side. I know weird, I have severe nerve damage to my feet so I can't feel. Just like these cows cant tell you what is wrong. But a trained eye rocks it. Thanks for all u do. It sure saved me lolol

Stop this cheesy damn music please! Oh dear lord. Love your channel and love your content but this music is just distracting. One of the best things about hoof trimming is the ASMR sound of the trim itself! If you need to cover the noisy background just use something instrumental. The lyrics of the songs are just so cringe I can’t focus on anything else and end up watching the trim without sound.

I understand this is your job, your chosen profession. What you do is vital to keep livestock healthy for the farmers. Looking beyond that, everything you do to perform your job at the highest level, is what takes pain and discomfort away from the animal. Nothing, man nor beast, wants to or should be in constant pain. When that pain is so acute that it makes locomotion difficult or impossible the quality of life suffers greatly. You give these animals back their quality of life. As someone who suffered a catastrophic leg injury many, many years ago, and who has had to live with pain and an altered walking stride because of it, I understand how life doesn’t have much quality if you can’t move around as you’d like to and go through pain while doing it. Just as you try and relieve the pain from the animals doctors have done the same for me over the years, helping me to reach a point where everyday walking no longer causes constant pain, thus giving me more quality of life. From your narration of your videos I see and hear how much pride and joy you get from helping these animals. Yes, it’s your job and you get paid, but no amount of compensation can give you the feeling you get when you’ve truly helped an animal get a better quality of life. That’s a bonus that money cannot give you. I don’t know if any of your followers has explained that we see and understand what a service you provide beyond just that of getting paid to trim hooves. We see the joy it gives you to help a fellow living creature live a better life. And that says a ton about the type of man you are. Thanks for the videos, keep them coming, you and they are both great.
If you’re going to add music, I would recommend a quieter instrumental vs something with lyrics. That way it’s easier for us to focus on the trimming without having to be bothered by the music.

To those who hate the music. You are allowed to your opinion but Greg is known for putting music in his videos for the moments where hes not talking, because some not all rather hear music compared to the hoof trimming itself, as you can tell the music isnt playing all the time during the video

Ok this is the 1st time I've watched a video that was new enough to comment but I think of it every time. Your music. Why on earth earth do you always play love songs for your music? Trimming hooves does not go well with love music. I actually hate it. If you read this can you please stop using love songs in your trimming videos? Like even the instrumentals from your love songs or something would be good. Something about the whole thing that makes me uneasy. Every time you add music to your videos I turn off the volume because I'm just so I don't know. I can't even explain it, it just makes me feel wrong. Love songs are for people. I hope you read this. I'm a big fan otherwise. Please change your music to instrumentals of the songs you currently use or like western music talking about horses and cows or something. There so many different kinds of music you can add that isn't a love song, or a breakup song for that matter. Sorry for the rant, please stop using love songs it really creeps me out and makes me feel uncomfortable. Thank you very much. I will definitely comment again on the next video with love songs until you read my messages. Now about merch. I think you should do a travel mug with a no spill lid, preferably one that keeps the contents hot. Seeing you drive off with hot mugs of coffee makes me cringe, one bad bump or sudden stop and you are wearing it. I’d love to see you using travel mugs and us being able to buy them. Maybe black with just the words Part of the Herd and the cow’s head on it. You could make them a bit bigger than a standard coffee mug too. There are lots of advantages to these and I think they would sell well. Also can you bring back the cow for a while?

Everyone whinging and saying “should have just played the background noise” has obviously never been on a busy farm, in a shed full of hundreds of noisy cows, while it blows a gale and all the machinery noises are going on. When you’re having to shout just to be heard by someone six feet away.

This would better to view without the music. Might be due to Ugly Bug Sarah Bareilles influencing people. There's other farriers and cow hoof dudes around. Hasta la vista and maybe Sarah might consider an augmentation of her super pronounced Vampuric hair line. And also a reduction of her big nose. And a torch for her sister' "ice hammer face(lot of divets)" condition which is the opposite of Ecclesiastes 8:1.
I know you said the shed was loud but if youre doing a voice over cant you just lower the noise in editing? Idk anything about video making, just rather hear the barn life than the music.
