Dark Riders, remeber Lord of the Rings? You see only a few of these Dark Riders early on, then suddenly it begins and there are countless numbers of them everywhere. Ever since I read about them in the Duskwood quests back when I first started playing just before original BC I have wondered if there would be a LOTR inspired story behind them and the mysteries of Duskwood. Perhaps I will finally get one!
I hope they expand on the storyline in the future! :)
@@Jediwarlock Indeed, Duskwood and Deadwind Pass have always been something of a mystery in that it never entirely made sense. It’s like a piece of the Plaguelands smack between 3 zones which are nowhere near it, that taint of the scourge never made it that far south, so how/where is the connection? There’s definitely a story to this.
I love that they resemble the art from the "Dark Riders" book cover. Wish they would give them the rogue cowl like on the cover though, I believe it was the part of the vanilla (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Jedi i play turtle wow with friends, ive read every wow novel up to war crimes twice and im on my 3rd read theough at the moment and would be happy to answer some lore relevent questions if youd like to join us one day, hit me up. Their dev team have made a ton of new original dungeons and raids already active that are regularly run for karazhan crypts, stormwind vaults, gilneas, crescent grove, emerald sanctuary(raid), hateforge quary and a few more.
Hyjal was recently released as an end game quest zone with an upcoming raid and there are a ton of raids aleays3 happening

SoD is straight up classic plus and I've been loving it.
I imagined new zones, but it's been nice, so far.
private servers do classic+ so much better than blizzard, you have pretty low standards.
