    a few more manmade structures to consider:
    The Thandol Span in Arathi/Wetlands. If it wasnt for this bridge, the eastern kingdoms would actually be 2 separate continents
    The Dwarven Dam in Loch Modan
    Thoradins Wall in Arathi
    Dire Maul

    I think that when it comes to Night Elf architecture and generally traces of their presence, Blizz did an excellent job when designing and placing them in classic. They give all of Kalimdor a different feeling to the Eastern Kingdoms, which for me personally included some sort of uneasiness, seeing all of the ruins and thinking that there must be some dark presence around the ruins. This was especially true for the zones like Azshara, Ashenvale and Desolace. It was as if there was something creepy out at sea, below the waters. (Maybe blizz meant to tease the existence of N’Zoth even back then?). Either way, those Nelf ruins give Kalimdor a fascinating vibe. I would gladly watch a video about these traces of Nelf civilization if you made one. (Hey hey, and good job on this one too!)

    • @Jediwarlock
      @Jediwarlock  Год назад +2

      Yes, the Naga/elven ruins around the coast I think definitely were there to tease Azshara and N'Zoth all the way back then! :D

    Watching this makes me miss playing WoW back in highschool. Started playing more regularly in 07. Played the crap out of Lich King although mostly solo. Didn't get to experience much in the way of raiding. Same with Cataclysm until the LFR was added. After Cata I only played a bit of MoP and then stopped all the way until last year when I subbed for like 2 months. Didn't care for Shadowlands much. Dragonflight looks alright though. Still debating if I will play it or not. Or play classic.

    Im surprised you didn't include Maraudon or Dire Maul. Those places are breath taking. There's no dungeons like Classic dungeons. Something I've come to think about what makes Vanilla so special (both specially bad and specially good) was it was designed as more of an RPG than the MMO-MOBA it's become (which is also good in it's own way).

    1. Vashj'ir is an amazing zone, and in it there're two giant living creatures. One of them can't be saved, but the player quests to save the other one. It feels really special to enter the body of an incredibly large creature and then travel within it as if it was a big building and fight enemies. They are for sure should be covered as wonders of WoW.
